  1. Obedb, tell her we were asking for her! Hang in there. Guessing you put the coach away for the year?
  2. Rust is a new one for me with Blue OX. Binding I’ve heard many times. This bar was acquired in 2011. I inspect it, lube it and that’s it.
  3. Herman, what was the $$ on that, and did this just happen??
  4. Herman, home! Carl I did expand the home gym, well better organized it and have room to swing a Olympic barbell without smashing into something . Now I have to take better care of the sanitation department at Christmas. The curb looked like we were moving
  5. Lol, I just figured that out last week! We cleaned out the basement, Need I say anymore
  6. Never been... Sounds like one place to add onto the list
  7. I considered this!! I have room between the rear bumper and side radiator.
  8. Ahh, good to know. From what I’ve read the roads as you get closer are small with low railway overpasses, one had a bridge on the road to the CG rated at 5 ton, it was long enough that the entire coach would have been on it. I’ve got more than that on one axle .
  9. What campground did you stay at? This is on our list of things to do but I have heard it can be tough up there with a large coach for campgrounds.
  10. That's my guess Bill. Personally Id seek out a tire that is capable of handling all positions and once they wear/age out replace all of them.
  11. Snap on and it’s 4’ Long 3/4” drive https://www.ebay.com/p/Snap-on-TQR600E-Heavy-Duty-Torque-Wrench-3-4-Drive-200-600-LB-Adjustment/1001650401?iid=132629861950&chn=ps&ul_ref=https%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F1%2F711-117182-37290-0%2F2%3Fmpre%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.ebay.com%252Fp%252FSnap-on-TQR600E-Heavy-Duty-Torque-Wrench-3-4-Drive-200-600-LB-Adjustment%252F1001650401%253Fiid%253D132629861950%2526chn%253Dps%26itemid%3D132629861950%26targetid%3D412310794200%26device%3Dm%26adtype%3Dpla%26googleloc%3D9007361%26poi%3D%26campaignid%3D1058344503%26adgroupid%3D55982899870%26rlsatarget%3Dpla-412310794200%26abcId%3D1133896%26merchantid%3D6346374%26gclid%3DEAIaIQobChMIzKCXwq_E3AIVnFcNCh0OMAMlEAQYASABEgJFqPD_BwE%26srcrot%3D711-117182-37290-0%26rvr_id%3D1613827873102%26rvr_ts%3De622f9231640a68821b3ea21fff7e733
  12. I have room, tools and no tire. I’ll pick up one someday soon. I’m not going to carry it mounted. I’ll just pay a road service to hang it. I’ll keep my torque wrench onboard to make sure it’s torques properly. It’s rare to find a mobile service that will torque properly rather than just hammer it on.
  13. I believe tge 295/80 is also only made by a select few tire manufacturers also. Which will hurt when on the side of the road. Keep in mind if a major tire dealer doesn’t have a Coach bus company as a regular customer chances are they will not carry that size, that will add significant time on the side of the road. 12R tires are pretty common on road tractors or straight trucks with a 14,000lb or above steer axle. The biggest issue is making sure you have adequate room for them since they are slightly taller.
  14. That I don’t know. When I worked at the dealership I never saw a Super C, no mention of it on and social media poss either. I can’t imagine why those would be the same as a DP, unless out of greed.
  15. Size of tire will also dictate availability. That’s why I dropped the 295/80 R22.5 (coach only size) and went with a 12R22.5. Plus it gave me a little bit of overdrive. the 295/75R22.5 is often considered a “suitable” replacement, it’s also readily available. it cannot handle the load and is dangerous on our coach and most coaches when installed by someone not understanding why the 295/80 was the tire selected by the chassis manufacturer.
  16. Probably negotiable, or worth a try anyway. The issue is most shops hate working on RV’s, access to make repairs can be time consuming and frustrating. skill levels and quantity or available technicians have drastically dropped off and in order to retain your staff you have to pay them well or turn away frustrating work. They charger full retail often on parts to make more money to make up for the frustration. Thats why you will see RV labor rates significantly higher then trucks. I saw a post the other day on Facebook; Truck labor rate $135.00 RV labor rate $225.00.
  17. No flat rate manuals for RV's as there are not two the same for access to the engine. This is one reason why shops will turn away from RV's, too unpredictable! Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you gonna get! Only top technicians are up for the challenge or techs like me with screws loose
  18. Rich, Ford uses the standard Blue Thermocoupler on the hot side and Plastic clip on couplers and tubing on the cold side. Today's Cummins is very similar to your year, not much has changed on this type of stuff. VGT turbo came with emissions reduction attempts when common rail fuel systems were introduced and of course all of the other stuff came along just after EGR was introduced to meet govt requirements.
  19. No. Same displacement but the Cummins is a much simpler design and only 6 cylinders inline where the Ford is a V8 with Two separate cooling systems...big mess,,, very complex design!
