    Doran TPMS

I use Tire Minder which does alert you when there is abnormal loss of air pressure.
  2. After 16 years I have never had to clean out the shower drain. A few years ago I had a leak between the pan and the drain so I had the drain out to reseal it with plumbers caulk. The inside was clean and free of any blockage. I wonder if it has anything to do with the soap used?
  3. The fine print at the bottom of most publications from the different manufacturers state they reserve the right to change anything without incurring obligation to previous buyers. Translation: they don't have to make any replacement parts once their stock is depleted.

    Tire Mounting

If you look at almost all of the current coaches with aluminum wheels, the outer dual has the stem pointing outward and usually is a much shorter stem so it doesn't look as hokey. I am aware of the position of the stem because I saw the difficulty in installing and removing the Tire Minder transmitter on the outer dual so I designed a tool to facilitate the chore. Hopefully it will be available in the near future.
  5. They are about 6 ft long and one goes across the upper half and the other overlaps and goes across the lower. 4 6 ft bungee cords hook from one fender well across to the other fender well.
  6. From the comments by a lot of posters, unfortunately it seems to be the norm.
  7. It sounds like the bag is ruptured. It does not seal against the cone.
  8. Toyos seem to be readily available and I use them as well as Michelins. They seem to be a little harder ride but not too bad.
  9. Typically lcd are weak in cold weather. Does the temp remain set when the unit is off? If so just turn it back on.
  10. The one that is brighter is the one with higher wattage. They are made for headlights with replaceable bulbs. There is over a dozen different numbers.
  11. HID conversion kit or LED bulbs will make them very bright. They are a whiter light and light up the road nicely. I have been using HID conversion for about 6 years and now I think LED is going to take over. There is a lot of manufacturers making them. I was at the SEMA show last week and talked to dozens of mfg.
  12. Roadmaster attends all of the FMCA national conventions and a lot of others such as Quartzite. They always inspect for free all their bars in attendance and a lot of repairs for free.
  13. When you are not level parked or go up or down roads that are 2+ degrees, the gravity feed on the refrigerator is impeded causing the boiler to overheat. This condition causes cumulative damage which could lead to failure of the cooling unit.
  14. I would go with an Amish unit and install a ARP controller to monitor the boiler tube from getting too hot if the unit is not level.
  15. Kwikee motor is a 90 Ford LTD Limited drivers door window motor. I had to change one for a friend this summer. Cost was $46 at Auto Zone.
  16. Oil level is at the bottom of the circle not the plug hole.
  17. Is the valve on the dryer or air tank?
  18. Be sure the batteries a clean and dry as dirt and moisture causes current draw.
  19. I have an older coach with small tanks so it is more important to conserve water. I installed a tee in the hot water line next to the shower faucet, using a valve and a return line to the fresh water tank. What this does is allow the hot water to get to the shower before any water is lost down the drain and it is returned to the fresh water tank. I installed a thermometer so when the water reaches 125 degrees I shut the bypass valve and have instant hot water at the shower head.
  20. Got home Saturday after a 21 state, 5+ month trip. Went 7389 miles and burned 735.773 gal of diesel for an average of 10.04 mpg. I have a 32 ft pusher towing a 1/2 ton Silverado. What was surprising was the "low" cost of diesel. Mid summer it had dropped to $2.33 in NH to $2.08 in Tn to $1.99 in Ok.
  21. Gelcoat is sprayed into the mold first and then the laminating resins and glass fiber. The gelcoat can separate from the lamination. The gelcoat can be reapplied with a high level of expertise.
  22. Measure the voltage at the light when it dims, then back track.
  23. Roadmaster will check every one of their tow bars for free. They go around and inspect everyone that has one of theirs and if there is a problem they will take care of it.
  24. I use an old Moto Sat slimline 5 and all I have to do is to push the button and I can watch HD on Directv.
