  1. Been doing that for over 20 years with 3-5 receivers. Never had cable at home.
  2. Did your inverter/charger fail?
  3. Glad to be of assistance. Thats the way we have been doing it in our RV shop.
  4. The waste gate does not start opening when engine rpm starts to increase. It stays closed until set boost pressure is reached then it opens. It will only open when boost set pressure is reached. Boost pressure is not always reached with wide open throttle, it depends on rpm and load.
  5. Large parking lots such as Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, etc. Park away from the store.
  6. The chassis batteries should hold a charge for more that 2 weeks, might have a small current draw. The house batteries will be at 9-10 volts if the inverter was left on.
  7. The way I do it is to unhook the diaphragm hose as hook up a regulator on an air supply. Adjust the rod so that it starts to move a 30 psi. That should give you 28 lbs of boost. I set mine a 32 and get 30 lbs.
  8. It should have a knock sensor that retards timing so all you would notice is a slight reduction in power.
  9. My Spartan chassis had air over hydraulic brakes originally, which is not that uncommon. I have since changed my suspension to air bags and brakes to full air brakes. Since I removed both the air actuated master cylinders I have repurposed one of them to my tow dolly and got rid of the surge master cylinder so I don't have the continual brake on going down a long hill.
  10. Is the park brake on the end of the transmission? If it is the air releases the brake and it is activated by a spring not air.
  11. Sounds like the door is out of square. Measure it corner to opposite corner, see if they are the same. If they are not loosen the screws and use bar clamp on the long side and tighten until measurements are the same and then tighten the screws.
  12. They work OK but since they are made of plastic they will turn yellow with age.
  13. We always stay at Greenbelt National Campground. It primitive but inexpensive. About a mile from the subway station and you can take you bikes during off hours. We find it mandatory to have bikes because the D.C. area is so large. The last time we were there they had a ranger led bike tour, no charge.
  14. We have Thousand Trails Elite and it has been great for us. About 80 campgrounds and we can stay up to 3 weeks and then go to another one. Last year we stayed 142 nights with an annual fee of $585. If you buy a used membership check with TT and they will tell you all the rules for that particular contract. 100's of different contracts.
  15. My Dicor rubber roof was 23 years old before I replaced it. It still did not leak, I replaced it because I had the coach painted. It was a relatively easy job, took me about a day and a half.
  16. I just had a friend do something similar. They had an Amish carpenter in Indiana make a desk in matching wood.
  17. What TT campground did you receive the call from?
  18. I haven't heard a thing. We are currently at Rondout Valley Thousand Trails.
  19. I have used the Tire Minder for several years. One feature I like is that when I am in the toad I can switch the coach reading off and use the monitor by itself in the toad. The transmitters have replaceable batteries and the factory will send you new batteries free of charge. Service is very good.
  20. Check with a van converter, they install swivel seats which must be legal.
  21. Probably about $50k. I have a 93 32ft diesel pusher and it went for about $70k.
  22. I use to have air over hydraulic brakes on my Spartan chassis. It had disc brakes and the two master cylinders were air operated and the air diaphragms would push the hydraulic master cylinder. I have since replaced them with full air brakes. I did take one of the air/hydraulic cylinders and install it on my tow dolly so I would have air brakes on it.
  23. I think Schneider bought Xantrex about 4 years ago.
