You need to be careful if you lower the coach and the ground is unlevel side to side because if the front is on the stops and you level the rear you may tweak the body and break the windshield. I did that.

When the gen is running the ATS relays are not energized.

You might check to see if the connections are tight.

Windshield Separating From Its Rubber Seal
desertdeals69 replied to goncolgo's topic in General Discussion
Is the windshield still solidly attached. If so you can get new rubber and use a black silicone type material to attach the rubber trim. Thats how the glass company did mine after replacing the windshields. -
When up there plan on driving slow. On roads with loose gravel when you see another vehicle coming at you slow way down and aim for shoulder to change the angle of attack of the rocks. We did this and had minimal damage.

Sounds like a good system. How do you know when the cell is full or over full?
-
I have a couple of extra fill bottles because I installed a gravity fed fill system that is plumbed to each cap with floats that indicate when its full. It has a gallon resevoir for distilled water and a shut off valve. All I do when it needs water is open the valve for a few seconds and watch the level gauge on each cap and when they are full close the valve.

Thanks for the info. I may have to try it, been using Wilson stuff for 13 years. I will check it out at CES in 2 weeks.
-
It will tow but you won't be very fast in the mountains. Level road it will be just fine.
-
I'm the one that said that.

Since the newer phones don't have an antenna jack Wilson has a pad the phone sets on. Its wired from the output of the amp.
-
Check with Wilson. I use their antenna and amp with a reasonable amount of success.

The same to you and yours. The thing we have to remember is that was some 30 years ago. They have made some inprovements since then!

I have seen residential refrigerators in RV's since the 70s. A lot of the bus conversion used them and a small number of production coaches and this was before the advanced inverters that are available today. One of the popular models was Amana, noted for its low current draw.

1992 Safari Serengeti-- Fresh Water Tank Drain?
desertdeals69 replied to russian's topic in Water and Holding Tanks
You could put a tee in the line to the pump and a valve, just make sure the level of the tee is low so it drains the tank as much as possible. -
My front TV is a Samsung LED 40 inch which 1.2 inches thick. I made a mount out of aluminum angle and hinged it from the top and used gas struts. I made a new cabinet which is about 10 inches thick with shelves for dvds. I've had it for 3 years and 20k miles. I've used flat screen TVs for 10 years with no problems.

I use the cell phone with a blue tooth headset. Didn't have to buy anything more.

I use a T250 amp fuse and 3/0 welding cable 6 feet long on a Xantrex 2000 watt.
-
I have seen up to 205 amps but I have six golf cart batteries.

If it was not on, the only thing turning is the pulley on the hub bearing. Is that what burned up? If it is it maybe a bad bearing or an alignment issue. -
I think what you are looking for is the four nuts that hold the wheel cover on. You need to find out what manufacturer made them and get the nut from them. Might be Dicor or Wheel Master.

As I recall the RV museum in Ekhart had owners manuals. I believe you can make copies.

Since spark occurs when the points break, the gap is what controls the timing.
