If I may, Carl a nail, screw, etc that penetrates the steel belts, then comes out, but does not pierce the air bladder/lining of the tire and cause an air leak, allows water into the bare steel strands and cause corrosion/rust, which weakens the belts. It cannot be detected until one experiences a tire failure. Roger, correct me if that is wrong.

I'll buy some, thanks. Some folks don't know brandy is simply distilled wine. I'm out of bourbon, time for a run to Sam's Club. DW said I'm getting fat, gotta lay off, I maintain I'm curvy__. 😁 Microwave for at least 5 seconds, 20 maximum, to kill ALL bacteria and virus on anything. The first time is a test case, to see if the metal nose strip will get hot enough to ignite the material; I do 5-10 seconds and the metal strip doesn't get hot. I use paper masks in public, nothing at home; but sometimes DW does tell me to keep my mouth shut.

Bill, your picture reminded me of this:

Good video Roger, thanks. You talked about keeping tires out of standing water; constant contact with water will, IMO, cause steel belts to corrode, which in turn is likely to cause tire failure in the future. This is especially true when an object has penetrated the tread to the belts. Is my thinking correct on this?

Ours too. It's an EverPure carbon filter for drinking water and ice maker. Of course we use drinking water in the Kureg coffee maker. This system is designed for full-time use, so one filter lasts all year for us. This filter may last 2 years, if I remember to remove it and store in the freezer until needed again-whenever that may be.

Right' a friend was an accountant for the largest electrical industrial equipment manufacturer in the world. He said he can use their accounting system to prove they are losing money every year. Then next week he can use the same figures with a different system to prove they are making money.

Correct! Every diesel engine mfgr. I know of states what you just said in their operators manuals. Water in fuel WILL ruin modern injectors. I might also say, adding anything to a fuel tank after filling is almost useless, as it cannot mix with contents. I wonder how farmers get by parking their combines a year without any problems?

Driver license for RV driving or towing?
rayin replied to tireman9's topic in Laws and Legislative Action
Some of the DL license websites are broken-404 error, which to me mean it hasn't been updated in a long time. -

SMITHY, keeping this Theodore Roosevelt quote is mind: “Complaining about a problem without posing a solution is called whining.” What can the general membership do to help with this issue?

I agree. I always use an independent agent. Had a problem with the previous agency though. I was told they are too large to search for better rates, I said bye, now with a much smaller local independent agent.

Do it NOW, weeks or months later may be too late to prevent the entire windshield from being destroyed by air and water intrusion into the laminates of glass.

I wonder, it requires a lot of money to shut down a refinery, it's more expensive to re-start. In at least one area gasoline is 90¢ a gallon now, here it's $1.39. IMO it would be least costly to sell at a loss than the sum to shut-down and later restart a refinery. I don't expect this stay at home stuff to last beyond mid-May, it's too devastating to the total economy. Keep in mine gasoline demand is low now, next month it may be ??? An aside to this is the intent of the stay at home orders. It was meant to flatten the curve, which it did; however the curve is much longer now, perhaps into 2021. That IMO means a return to normal fuel pricing will happen very fast when business' reopen, fuel pricing may return to 2012 levels while wells are reopened and refineries that did shut-down reopen. My opinions and $2.75 will get you a cup of coffee most anywhere.

Speaking only of hotmail, it has the ability to block senders by domain, for example I can set it to block "@spam.junk"; regardless of what the first portion is, everything after the @ is blocked and never seen.

I bought a gold/polished brass shower head and hose from Amazon, it doesn't have a pulse feature, just 6 different spray selections. Side note; my first search terms were for a gold shower head. Sticker shock! They were actually gold-plated. Next search was for a polished brass shower head; whew, only $39 this time. All my plumbing hardware is polished brass Moen with lifetime warranty, except the new hand-held brass polished-shower head. Moen has replaced the kitchen hardware and one bathroom.

I do not intend to be insulting, but I thought this diagram might help understand the working of an air conditioning system: https://www.btrac.com/documents/svc-manual-revision-i-feb-2011.pdf

Herman look at this old thread in irv2.com it might offer some insight: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/bill-ds-monacoers-gathering-tampa-fl-feb-2-a-274377.html

Perhaps this website will offer some insight to A/C charge requirements This for a Foretravel MH: http://www.beamalarm.com/Documents/dash_air_conditioner_refrigerant_and_oil_capacity.html I've been told a low charge will cause freezing too, but I suspect the root of your freezing is the plugged drain and low air flow. IMO it is better to reduce cooling temperature than reduce air flow.. Mine was low when we bought the MH. I bought a large can of refigerant with a pressure gauge and filled to when the gauge read in the full range. That was 2013, it's been operating great ever since.

Apparently there is an alternative to carfax for RV's: https://campingwithchris.blogspot.com/2011/03/carfax-for-rvs-yes-check-this-out.html

Become familiar with the process, chock the coach, then "cage" the parking brakes. If the coach will roll, as Brett said the shoes are not stuck to the drum. NEVER attempt to disassemble or repair a spring brake canister, the spring is strong enough to cause severe injury. The potential for injury or death is so great there is a specific disposal method.

We are buyers, we own no allegiance to any company. Shop every year for the lowest price for the same coverage_or better.

Carfax has only data that has been voluntarily reported to them. IMO not very useful.

That would be IRS form 990 - N for a non-profit organization. That article IMO is wrong,(conjecture) the $700K was funds already spent towards the national conventions, which were advance fees received. Thus no refunds, instead vouchers were issued for future conventions.
