  1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHIPMATES!! U.S. Navy Established 243 years ago today October 13, 1775 Herman
  2. Buttermilk, Flakey or Butter Flavored? They make all three and I can pick them up in the Dairy isle. Herman
  3. dp26, Hope everything is ok for you. Is the FMCA Rally in the agenda? Hope so. Herman
  4. Most of the combination unit have a button to turn the turn table on and off. We have found that when baking biscuits we leave the turn table on. The biscuits cook nicely and evenly. Herman
  5. Nmeremianin, Welcome to both FMCA and the Forum. In July 2018 FMCA will have the National Convention and Family Reunions in Gillette Wyoming. If you plan your trip then you can, in almost a straight line, make Mt. Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Gillette, Cody (a must) and then into Yellowstone. Hope you have the time to see it all. Would love to have you and your family in Gillette. Herman
  6. You can use the convection oven very easily. Here is the procedure. 1) Select "preheat " then select the temperature you want to cook or bake at. Then press start. 2) When the desired temp. is reached the oven will beep. Place what you want to cook, press convection, again select the desired temp. Then enter desired cook time an press start. Hope this will get you hot biscuits and gravy. Herman
  7. Google "RV Salvage". There are a number of them around the country. Maybe even one close to you. It is amazing what can be found in one of them and at very reasonable prices. Herman
  8. Your pedestal is bolted to your floor with 4 bolts. The seat platform (which swivels) is off set forward. You could remove the seat, unbolt the pedestal and reverse it. Then remount the seat. Your seat would now be 3 to 4 inches further back. You might have to make some adjustments to the swivel release cable. It would not hamper turning the seat around. But again watch the chair back and the slide. Herman
  9. Wayne, did you see the 2008 American Eagle at Motor Homes of Texas? Herman
  10. Drakeygirl, We seem to be talking on two different things on the seat. Which are we having problems with, not turning around or not going back far enough? If not turning around, see my earlier post. If not going back far enough then you my have to move your slide rails back. You can not move the pedestal since it is a steel plate under the floor. You will need to be careful in moving your seat too far back if you have a front drivers side slide. If I move my seat all the way back I can't reach the pedals and I am 6' 2" and just over 200 lbs. I know Carl in 6' 7" and to my knowledge he hasn't modified he seat. (He does have a bit of a problem in a VW bug though)🤗 Herman
  11. Maybe that's why I never noticed the truck seat.🤔 Is Linda's 2 Phaton? Herman
  12. Carl, I hadn't noticed your seats before, will look the next time. Herman
  13. Don't know the names but there are 3 RV Parks in Eagles Nest, NM. There is a beautiful lake and it is close to Philmont Boy Scout Ranch, Angel Fire and Taos. Herman
  14. You should have a cable release. You should have two small levers on the side of the chair. 1 for the recline (should be the back one) and 1 for the swivel (should be the front one). The cable may have come out or is broken. You should be able to lay on the floor, lift up the skirt of the chair and see the cable and release. Herman
  15. kmorris, Welcome to the Forum. There should be a number of RV furniture manufacturers in the Elkhart, IN area. I would google RV furniture. You will find quite a few. Most should have dimensions of their seat cushions. We have a 2002 Monaco Dynasty and Flexsteel and are quite pleased with them. I am 6'2" and have no issues. When you google you might add over-sized and that might get you a deeper seat. Good luck, Herman
  16. Now I know I wont be eating any of Linda's salad dressing any time too soon.. Herman
  17. Good point Carl. Texas Governor Abbott has issued an order that no vehicle that was totaled due to results of the hurricane and flooding can not be re titled period. Good for Him. You know where they will all go now. "South of the border down Mexico way*****" Herman
  18. That's my plan. It failed from lack of grease. Caught is before it fell off. Herman
  19. To each his own. There is a Holiday Rambler Specter 42 DSQ footer at Motor Homes of Texas, but rather than the seating it has a full bath in the rear. Shower, Toilet, washer/dryer and closet. It to is a nice floor plan. 2006 with 46,000 miles for $109,500.00. Herman
  20. Hope that fixes your issue. Herman
  21. Now that I can understand. Herman
  22. What you may have is defective solenoid. It should only be active when the key is turned on. Disconnect one of the large cables from one side. Be sure and cover to to protect it from shorting out. If the solenoid cools off. Replace it. Be sure and get a 12 volt continuance solenoid. Herman
  23. Wildcat, How did the service people add Freon? I thought the unit were sealed, with no charging ports. Herman
