Probably as expensive as a nice big TT. What I can find, the MSRP is around $55,000. Hey, to each his own, right? -
Who, What, When, Where or Just Lets Talk

Here is one I took this morning, I watched for over an hour of trying to back it under the cap and finally they did. I thought that both vehicles would be driven separately but no, hooked up the TOAD and took off. The Eagle Cap had two side slide outs and one rear slide out. Looked it up and it is 100 sq ft when extended. -

Say what! I don't want to be behind this being towed down the road. Wonder if he can park it in a normal parking spot. Definitely no one is going to block him in. -
Who, What, When, Where or Just Lets Talk

Well, my one half of a garage (two car garage) is a mess of accumulated junk for several years. My eldest son asked, "Dad, when are you going to clean your garage?" I replied, "That's your inheritance." I should have asked him if he want to start now collecting it, darn! That's the same son who one day when we were in the back yard doing something and I stood up and caught my breath he said, "Dad, you're out of shape!" I had to remind hin that, "Round is a shape!" -
Yes, welcome. Your first post was right on.

Well, it's going to be some time in the FAR future. Don't have any plans at all right now. Will do when we know for sure. In the meantime if you come to the Galveston Area, we will show you around. -

One of these days Joe, we may get back to the Gettysburg area. Hope you are around and nearby. -

We bit the bullet and decided we needed to travel and exercise the MH. We are not in Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. All is good. Life is good. Great to be out and about again and taking precautions. -
Directv remote doesn't work correctly in bedroom
wayne77590 replied to elizabethmeyer's topic in Electronics
I'd use RF or combination of rf/ir Directv remote Assuming you have the newest and greatest receiver/remote. -
The owners are out of Sioux Falls, SD. I'm sending you a PM with their phone number. You can go to fmca.com, click on "dashboard," then on Membership Directory and put in the number. I entered the number as F483576 Glad another responsible RV'er found the plaque. Edited: I just checked and the "F" need to be the first character in the search. "F483576" or it will not work.

Be careful as sometimes the owners manual is a cut and paste of the previous year. If in any doubt call the manufacturer.

Mend quickly Herman, the road calls for you.

I'm retired military and all my medical is $0 deductible. Two MC accidents and ambulances were covered, so I only need a portion of FMCA Assist. That being the return of my motorhome, etc. To me that is worth $25 extra a YEAR. The other $50 is for the camaraderie of the members, this forum, and a few discounts. The $75 a year is about a case of beer now-a-days. I'll drink water. Thanks FMCA - for now.

Yep! Only about 1600 miles out of the way! I think I put 30-40 miles on since the 1st of the year. That was just to exercise it. San Antonio and back will be about 500 miles. We also try and get out of here for the hot Summer time but didn't do it this year. Depending on how things go in 2021 we hope to be back on the road meeting and greeting.

Joe, I can imagine that you are a nice guy. However, I'm not going to PA or FL on my way to San Antonio just to see you. However, on your way to FL my driveway can handle a 40' (even a 43') MH and I can provide 50amp and water. Dump stations about 2 miles away and is free. (A 43' would have to be backed up onto 3 stacked sets of 2 x 12's. Not for the faint of heart but I do it all the time. Earlene is the ground guide)

Put the "Beauty" in for its annual PM. Found out there is a recall on my 2010-2015 Cummins for a faulty SCR system. Strange that the recall came out in 2018 and the technician at Freightliner told me about it yesterday. Sure would be nice to be notified by manufacturers when recalls are issued. -
You didn't hold you mouth right the first time!!

Okay, I have relatives in Central Mass. so my question is, will you have an extra RV pad for me to stay on? We head out to San Antonio for about 10 days. Our first trip since last year. Very much looking forward to it.

Wow! First post and it a SLAM! Friends of ours RV'ing in a motorhome were in Florida visiting from Arkansas. He had emergency heart surgery and they had to put an LVAD (look it up) in him. He has no pulse now - nada. FMCA Assist flew him and his wife in a Lear Jet equipped with medical devices and hospital providers back to Arkansas. They paid for the transfer of his motorhome back to Arkansas. His cost was ZERO DOLLARS. Now is that worth $75 a year?

HDMI over cat converter/extender/splitter
wayne77590 replied to elizabethmeyer's topic in Electronics
Mark, A little different system with my HDMI Matrix but connectivity should be the same. The Cat 5 cables should already be run to all the remote IR extenders. All I had to do was 'mark' (read that again, 'mark') the cables on the back of the HDMI 4 x 4 splitter, unplug everything and install the new one. I also replaced each IR remote. I only have 3 TV's. I removed each IR Remote, unplugged the cables (Only should be two, Cat5 and HDMI, plugged the new one in and screwed the IR remote back into where it came from. My matrix looked like this Cat5/6e Matrix When I referred to "IR Remote" it should have been "remote receiver" as indicated in my manual Here is the link to the manual for my system. I provide the information to just give you some ideas. Hope it was helpful. -
How does Maryland's EZPass work when towing a 5W
wayne77590 replied to ckmillard3's topic in General Discussion
Don't blame you. Darn COVID is keeping us in but maybe Nov we will go somewhere for a "fix." If'n you get down Galveston way, we are only 14 miles up on the mainland. Joe, That is excactly how NC QuickPass/EzPass works for us with 1 transponder. When towing the transponder is in the coach and the TOAD gets treated as a trailer. Both coach and toad are registered with the one transponder. When we set up camp we transfer the transponder to the TOAD for running around and sight seeing. Don't need the added expense of a second transponder. This is how the power that be told me to use it. See my reply to Joe. -

I don't know why, but this is what I find clicking on the NCQuickPass web site. Doc, I'd call them and speak to them about it. I found them very helpful on the phone. You don't need to commit, just ask questions. -

wayne77590 replied to ckmillard3's topic in General Discussion
Why would you need two transponders. Doc, are you thinking of the $20 to populate the account? I only paid $7.40 for the transponder. They also send a window sticker but I was told to not use it, just transfer the transponder back and forth between vehicles. Towing with the transponder and having the sticker on the TOAD would confuse the booths and charges for both could be incurred. The go by # of axles, so my rig get's charged for 5 axles. (MH - TAG, and TOAD) -
Blue Ox has a rated 10,000 lb towbar. I have it pulling an SUV. It has been very reliable over the years.
