  1. Welcome to the forum. Get the numbers off the lense and do a Google serch. Bill
  2. I would defer to Joe's experiance and advise on this. Bill
  3. Welcome to the forum. Nice contraption. Bill
  4. Welcome to the forum. You should run the slides in and out a couple of times. I would have some one else run them on at least one cycle so you can be out side and be looking for possible problems. You can have problems with any system. Bill
  5. Looking good! Welcome to the forum. Bill
  6. Welcome to the forum. Nice! Bill
  7. Why not Carl? We have people spending 2 millon + on a coach so a 160K toad isn't out of reach. I would tow a 2017 Bentley Bentayga SUV if I could find out if it was towable 4 down. Well and aford it. Bill
  8. There is a chance someone has changed the position of the seat on top of the pedestal. Look and see. Be aware as Herman said you don't want it to far back. I would make shure it clears the slide when the slide is in. In the parts listed at this site it looks like you might be able to move the seat back on the pedestal. https://www.coachsupplydirect.com/rv-products/rv-seating-parts/ Bill
  9. The owners manual is the best place to find that information: "Vehicle towing: Flat bed towing is the preferred type of towing to be used on Porsche vehicles. Under certain circumstances, wheel lifts may be used when the vehicle will not roll. The vehicle must be towed with all four wheels off the ground, otherwise damage to the vehicle may result." Even Remco doesn't list it. Bill
  10. I still don't see the need. The cloth ones damage the paint worse than any minor stone chips and the stick on ones don't last and cost/between installation and removal more than a little touch up paint. Bill
  11. I think it is interesting that now that everyone has a phone with a camera both still and movie the numbers of sightings have really gone down. I wonder why that is. Bill
  12. Billy The Kids Grave, Fort Sumner, NM, 3501 Billy the Kid Rd, Fort Sumner, NM 88119 fortsumner.net, (575) 355-2942. http://www.aboutbillythekid.com/Lincoln_County_War.htm http://www.nmhistoricsites.org/lincoln. Bill
  13. Just my thought. Building them should give you a appreciation for how important having adaquate storage is. Look at this floor plan it has a desk where you can do your IT work and you could remove the couch and have room for your wife's sewing, add a couple of recliners and you still have the storage in the back. She will need storage space for her quilting supplies to. https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/used-rvs-for-sale/diesel-motorhomes/2004-travel-supreme-select_rv-36055 This is just a quick search of floor plans. You and your wife should come to the South Central Area Rally, Oct. 25 to 28, 2017 Four States Fairgrounds, Texarkana, Ark. There is a large group of ladies that quilt and show quilts. Bill
  14. Great, thanks for letting us know how it came out. Bill
  15. Welcome to the forum Kate, Yes Blue Beacon is one option. Most big RV parks have someone that comes to the park to wash coaches. I would ask at the front desk. There are eaven some that let you wash your coach, but not to many. Bill
  16. I think this is the "resort" we stayed at, but it has been over 5 years and I wasn't keeping records. Red Barn RV Park, 2806 E 2nd St, Roswell, NM 88201, redbarnrvparkroswellnm.com (575) 623-4897. This was an overnite place for us. DW found it and they said they had 2 pull throughs. When we got there they had us pull around the "Barn" and head into the wall, the front bumper was about 2 foot from the wall. When we left they opened a door in the wall to let us out onto the hiway. I guess you could say it was a pull through. It was a tight opening and my mirrors over hung the opening/top of the fence on the way out. Just part of the adventure. Bill
  17. On the brighter side it will be spring and time to hit the road. Bill
  18. I would try to work my schedule to spend a night in Amarillo. You need to go to The Big Tex Steak House. Not so much to try to eat the big one but they have good smaller steaks. We like Oasis RV Resort, 2715 Arnot Rd, Amarillo, TX 79124, myrvoasis.com, (806) 356-8408. Just down the access road is The famous art installation Cadillac Ranch Cars, 13651 I-40 Frontage Rd, Amarillo, TX 79124. If you go north to CO. from NM. it would probably be on I-25. Great spot to spend a night because of the view is Raton Pass Camp & Cafe, 46020 I-25, Raton, NM 87740, ratonpasscamp.com, (575) 445-8500. The RV park is at the top of Raton pass. You get off the freeway then climb up to the park. The views are what you come west to see. Bill
  19. Thanks, I will check them out. I found a clearance light broke and it started me down this road. Bill
  20. Has any one changed out the bulbs in the marker lights with LED and what did you use. Bill
  21. Glad you had a good time. Bill
  22. One other reason it might blow the fuse in heat and cool is many units automatically use the ac compressor to dry the air for the defrosters. I think your next step is to do the troubleshooting kaypsmith recommended. Bill
  23. Thanks for the feedback. One more thing that will make you wonder "why would you do that". Bill
  24. The last time I had a problem it wasen't the blade sticking but the end of the water valve. You probabley have to take a small cover off on the side of the toilet to get to it. I used a silacone spray on the shaft of the valve and where it /the end rides in the cam that actavates it when you step on or pull up the pedel. Didn't have any of Linda's salid dressing. Bill
  25. I don't know but should be pretty easy to tell. When you are set up to tow try turning the steering wheel. If it turns easy then yes it does. Does flat towing miles impact the oil change and preventive maintenance schedule of the transmission. I wouldn't worry about it as the miles don't accumulate on the speedometer. But if you want to be supper careful add the towed miles to your base mileage and use that. I don't on my CR-V Does flat towing braking adversely effect the wear of brake pads and/or rotors. I haven't noticed any. Just make sure your emergency brake is off. I was able to stop a guy who was pulling out of his campsite with the rear tires sliding. Bill
