  1. I seriously doubt the filter is in the tank. They may have a mesh around the pick up but not a filter. It does sound like a filter or pump problem. I would check the fuel pressure on the main fuel line. I would call Tiffin and ask where is the filter(s) and the pump. By the way welcome to the forum. Bill
  2. Yes I had an uncle who bought them for me, uncle sam. If you can find them there are floppy wheels and different shaped "tootsie rolls" for different applications. Joe has a good tool the Mouthers cone and Powerball. Air tools are your friend. Bill
  3. It will be interesting to hear more on this. I still haven't heard a good explanation why the ISX 600-650hp engines were dropping valves. I wish I could find some "facts" on that story. Bill
  4. Bill E. instead of all that sandpaper find some fine scotch bright, I believe it is gray in color and using a pad on a sanding disk you ca polish them up easy. Joe same with the ones in the picture after you get them shiny wipe down with acetone and spray with clear coat. Bill
  5. I think you have a problem with 12V as all the things that aren't working need 12V for the controls. See if you have power going to the Battery control box. if not work back from there. Bill
  6. Great job on decorating. That is starting to look like some of the areas down hearer when the Christmas decorations are up. There are areas people pay to drive through to look at the decorations. I had to laugh at people hearer taking down Halloween decorations and putting up Christmas decorations. One place has a blow up turkey in the middle as a nod towards Thanksgiving. Kind of smart, after turkey day just unplug the turkey and you are ready for Christmas. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=interlochen+lights+display%2c+arlington+texas&qpvt=Interlochen+Lights+Display%2c+Arlington+Texas&FORM=VDRE This is a link to a bunch of light displays. 7. Just as a follow up can you get the pin out? It might be a good idea to weld a bit on the end and reduce worry that the glue won't hold. Bill
  8. You are right but some times it is just the management. When in that part of the world we are in RI or Freeport Ma or up at New Found Lake area. We did stay at Moody Beach one time for a rally with the Granit Starters. The cost is nearly impossible to find a spot in the "season". Bill
  9. Great they got it fixed. Unfortunately this is another example why many of us self insure. Bill
  10. One thing I recommend is when you get ready to retract the jacks after an extended use. Wipe the exposed shafts down with the same fluid you use in the jacks. This removes dirt and lubricates the shaft. If you don't do this you can damage the bottom seal. Bill
  11. No need to open the motor case. Make a dam around the shaft where it goes into the bearing. The porous bronze bushing will wick the oil in. there maybe a felt washer agents the bearing where it goes into the motor. I would slide it out a little to get more direct access to the bearing. I am thinking as you said it hadn't ben used much the bearings had dried, or gummed up. Bill
  12. Did you try oiling the bearings on the motor? Bill
  13. Welcome to the forum. It is always good when you find a good shop. Bill
  14. Welcome to the forum. I would take it some where else like a Freightliner shop. I can't be more helpful as you haven't added your information and coach information to your profile or signature. Bill
  15. One place that is fairly centrally located is The Vineyards Campground & Cabins, 1501 N Dooley St, Grapevine, TX 76051, vineyardscampground.com , (888) 329-8993. Nice campground and good location. Your problem is why I never leave home with out my toad. Bill
  16. It's not like he is camped under a bridge till the new coach comes in. Bill
  17. I bet the OP is busy at his niece's but I am curious I think it is a battery charger. Bill

  19. You still have your old coach right? It might be a good idea to rent a pickup for the time you need it most rental company's have a couple, saves the wear and tear on the cooper and you. Bill
  20. Welcome to the forum. I haven't heard that but it is possible. One more good reason to inspect and recalk all seals. Bill
  21. Paul, Just for fun check the voltage at both the house and chasse battery's. What is the voltage at the battery's. Do you have heated tanks? Do you have any lights on in your storage compartments? Do you have a fan behind the refrigerator? Let us know what you find out. Bill
  22. No just like Bill A. said it is a vehicle on runners not tires. Bill
  23. He has already done that. Now he is trying to get it fixed. Bill Welcome to the forum. Sad to hear about your service problems. Did you know Rev Group has a Factory service center just south of Fort Worth?South REV Technical Center, 5201 South IH-35 West , Alvarado, TX 76009 Service Hours: 6 a.m.-2:30 p.m. CT Monday-Friday Parts Store: 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m. CT Monday-Friday 800-299-1158 This is a long way to go but it is the factory repair center. I, would call and 1, see if you can have some one else do the repairs under warranty and 2, When can you get in their facility if you can't get some one else to do the work. How is your windshield mounted? Is it in gaskets or supposedly glued in? Do you have pictures? "when using the windshield washer - the water came down inside the coach and ran down the back of the TV - due to the fact that the feeder-hoses had not been connected." So connect the hose so your washers work. Let us know how it goes. Bill
  24. Let's face it locks are to keep honest people honest. If you use the bolt cutters I posted about earlier you can have the surge guard and the copper cable. And a lot faster than that guy opening the lock. Bill
