  1. On the brighter side it will be spring and time to hit the road. Bill
  2. I would try to work my schedule to spend a night in Amarillo. You need to go to The Big Tex Steak House. Not so much to try to eat the big one but they have good smaller steaks. We like Oasis RV Resort, 2715 Arnot Rd, Amarillo, TX 79124, myrvoasis.com, (806) 356-8408. Just down the access road is The famous art installation Cadillac Ranch Cars, 13651 I-40 Frontage Rd, Amarillo, TX 79124. If you go north to CO. from NM. it would probably be on I-25. Great spot to spend a night because of the view is Raton Pass Camp & Cafe, 46020 I-25, Raton, NM 87740, ratonpasscamp.com, (575) 445-8500. The RV park is at the top of Raton pass. You get off the freeway then climb up to the park. The views are what you come west to see. Bill
  3. Thanks, I will check them out. I found a clearance light broke and it started me down this road. Bill
  4. Has any one changed out the bulbs in the marker lights with LED and what did you use. Bill
  5. Glad you had a good time. Bill
  6. One other reason it might blow the fuse in heat and cool is many units automatically use the ac compressor to dry the air for the defrosters. I think your next step is to do the troubleshooting kaypsmith recommended. Bill
  7. Thanks for the feedback. One more thing that will make you wonder "why would you do that". Bill
  8. The last time I had a problem it wasen't the blade sticking but the end of the water valve. You probabley have to take a small cover off on the side of the toilet to get to it. I used a silacone spray on the shaft of the valve and where it /the end rides in the cam that actavates it when you step on or pull up the pedel. Didn't have any of Linda's salid dressing. Bill
  9. I don't know but should be pretty easy to tell. When you are set up to tow try turning the steering wheel. If it turns easy then yes it does. Does flat towing miles impact the oil change and preventive maintenance schedule of the transmission. I wouldn't worry about it as the miles don't accumulate on the speedometer. But if you want to be supper careful add the towed miles to your base mileage and use that. I don't on my CR-V Does flat towing braking adversely effect the wear of brake pads and/or rotors. I haven't noticed any. Just make sure your emergency brake is off. I was able to stop a guy who was pulling out of his campsite with the rear tires sliding. Bill
  10. F424363, How did they balance the new tires at your place? Bill
  11. Hopefully whzbng4rv comes back and tells us more. Bill
  12. Herman at least they show what appears to be the sliding glass doors for a back closet. It looks like they moved the bedroom foward to make room for the rear bathroom. Carl, same it has hanging closet space. Both are nice coaches. Bill
  13. Try puting coach information + in your signature. Look at Herman's or Wolf10's for examples. Bill
  14. Have you checked the individual batteries? There is the possibility that you have a bad cell and it is causing the high current draw heating up the solenoid. Bill
  15. Welcome to the forum. Let me guess you have never spent any extended time in a RV. As you haven't filled out your profile I don't have any information. That floor plan has no storage for your clothes. They have taken the rear closet and turned it into a "rear lounge". If you need recliners have them pull out one of the sofas in front and add them there. I know you don't want to hear people disagreeing with your " favorite floor plan" but better now. By the way I just showed this to DW and the first thing she said was "That floor plan has no storage for your clothes, there is no place to hang anything up." Look at ppl.com they show different floor plans. Bill
  16. When applying pressure to brake the old mastic loose, we use to use wedges and give it plenty of time to release. Take your time as you could bend warp the opening/window if you are to aggressive. Good luck. Bill
  17. Must be a common problem. My zone 1 is the back AC but it is the "middle" AC. I never checked dates on them. I can see how the factory may large quantity of appliances to get a better price. Most times I don't think it would make that much difference, except where they have done a improvement in the interim. Bill
  18. Thanks for coming back and telling us what it was. I was thinking Start capacitor but I don't like to throw parts at it without facts. Bill
  19. Well it has been since June so let's hope he got it apart and fixed. Bill
  20. Call the places I listed. They may be able to help or know someone. Bill

  22. The only Legacy I found is in Rock Wall http://www.legacycoach.com/view-our-current--inventory-showroom Bill
  23. WOW just WOW. I bet they never aired the suspension up either. If they didn't remove the drive shaft I would be telling the insurance company you need a new coach. Bill
  24. Herman call Cowser Tire service at 1700 NE Loop 820 Call and ask for Chuck Frymire at 806-577-7342. see if they can help. Also try Kristopher Davis at T&W 817-338-420, Cell 214-837-5261 Also look at Premier Truck on N 820 http://www.premiertruck.com/ Good luck. Bill
