  1. Every day is FREE if you are over 62 and have a Senior Pass. This covers everyone in your car. I believe I have gotten my $10.00 back. https://www.nps.gov/planyourvisit/passes.htm Bill
  2. Lets start with basics. I would shut off all the water and take the line loose at the new faucet. Now using an appropriate container turn on the water pump. If you get water out of the line there maybe a plug left in the new faucet or it is clogged up. If you don't get water you can back track. I bet it is a plug left in the new faucet. Let me know if I was right or wrong. Bill
  3. Me too. Nice coach, are you coming to Chandler? Bill
  4. Yep but I will drive 1000 to have lunch with you in Chandler. Bill
  5. The number should be on the bulb. Take the old bulb to any parts store they should have replacements. Buy a spare. Bill
  6. Well I will just halve to go to Canada this year. Bill
  7. There are a lot worse places to be. Did you know The Original Cafe Du Monde Coffee Stand was established in 1862 in the New Orleans French Market. The Cafe is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They are the primary reason men wore white suits in that area. The powdered sugar from the Beignets would get all over, so it was better to wear white so it didn't show. http://www.cafedumonde.com/ One outher of many favorite places is The Old Coffeepot. I liked everything especially the shrimp in cajun bbq sauce. http://www.theoldcoffeepot.com/ Have you taken the tour to the battle of NO battlefield? Bill
  8. I think doing the retrofit of the CCV would not be cost effective. Like Brett says I would definitely install a catch can to your slobber tube. I used a 1/2 gal plastic bottle with a few holes drilled in the top to let the gasses out. Because you have been running without a catch can or extended slobber tube. Be sure to clean your CAC and radiator to prevent overheating this coming summer. Bill
  9. If it is a new coach everything should have at least a year warranty. How much are they wanting for the insurance? I would put that in the bank and if you don't need it add to it next year. Bill
  10. Welcome to the forum. I would call and talk to Rush Truck Center before driving over there. See if you can get in or schedule an appointment. Someone from the area may have a pet place or you can look on RV Service Reviews. I have driven through LA a couple of times and know about the traffic. http://www.rvservicereviews.com/Index.asp Bill
  11. Fault code 27 is Controller unable to sense output voltage. Bill
  12. Ok back to the ceramic heaters. Is there any insulation on the bottom of that compartment? I would be adding some if I was operating in the super cold areas. Bill
  13. So is that the back of the aqua hot straight back? I would think that would give off enough heat to prevent freezing. Bill
  14. Tracy, a small ceramic heater will work if you are hooked up to shore power or running the generator. It will produce more heat than a single light bulb. When the temperature gets realey cold open the doors under the sinks to let warm air circulate. Herman, Is the manifold on the left for the aquahot? That should provide some heat to that area. Bill
  15. Welcome to the forum. I don't understand what you mean by having the main engine and the generator sync. as "gen and engine would not sync". Fault code 27 is Controller unable to sense output voltage. This could point to a bad stator or controller or just a bad connection. Have you/the people checking it checked the stator output voltage. The stator output voltages. Should be 20VAC RMS across each phase while cranking. Don't crank the generator for more than 30 seconds. If the phase voltage is good it would point to the inverter/converter unit. The last part makes me question the auto transfer switch. Someone with more knowledge on this will jump in soon. Bill
  16. Welcome to the forum. I agree with Ian that the first thing is to get a good front end alignment I might even inquire about a all wheel alignment. That way you know everything is set right. Wolfe10 is correct in how to "rotate" your tires. Let us know what the shop has to say. Most shops will give you a print out showing the before and after settings on your alignment. Bill
  17. The best practice is to keep your loose nuts in a sac or pouch to protect them till you need them. Bill
  18. Herman did say you had a screw loose. Or was that a loose screw. Bill
  19. Glad DW is doing well. It is here job to keep you on your toes. You can tell her I said GOOD JOB. Bill
  20. Welcome to the forum. I would start by calling the campground you were going to use and ask about "storage" for a week. Bill
  21. The Op's problem was it is getting to cold. I asked what the outside temps were but got no answer. I am inclined to believe the only problem is it is working to good because the setting is to low for the ambient temps. Bill
  22. Yes it would be a good idea to start with no frost. However I was pointing out the fact that the presence of frost on the fins does not mean the unit is not operating normally. These are not frost free units. Bill
  23. Desertdeals69, I hope you have a good place to stay for a few extra days till this weather pattern moves through. The routes south are getting hammered with ice. Bill
  24. Be aware the fins will frost over during normal operation. These are not frost free units. Bill
