  1. The good thing about the Surge Guard is it does basically the same thing ALL the time not just when you are looking at it. Bill
  2. Here is one source for them. I did see some on Amazon but they were $10.00. It is Partnumber 48-17 by Amco. https://www.finditparts.com/products/2479194/federal-mogul-anco-48-17?srcid=CHL01SCL010-Npla-Dmdt-Gusa-Svbr-Mmuu-K2479194&gclid=CjwKEAiA1ITCBRDO-oLA-q_n8xYSJADjBQfGNxTgZjei3hA2VBiX1WT9artCZWPQeHMJ-NUN4lyOkxoCzGfw_wcB I now can use any wiper blade that uses the J hook connection. 28 inch wiper blades will work till you find longer. In reality they are only 2 in shorter on each end. Bill
  3. There may be some unofficial Meet and Greet events to. Bill
  4. Well as of now I think 12 coaches from one club we belong to and at least 5 from the forum, So that would be 17 so far but it is early. I have reservations, as of today, for 2 nights (March 4, 5 leaving on 6) at Silverado RV Resort in Eloy, AZ which is 45 miles from Chandler. The rate is $35 a night with a 2 night minimum and a $25 non-refundable deposit. Like all the area parks the sites are back-ins. I researched some of the sights listed and since we will be going on to California after the rally I didn't want to pay $70 a night. Bill
  5. You won't hurt anything all the coach I have had experience with were set up this way. When you are ready to shut down the generator take all the load off and let it run for about 5-10 min to cool before shutdown. Bill
  6. rcieslak67, said "Never had the issue before in 5 years of camping. Noticed it twice last summer from dedicated 50 amp power at the post." But you don't know if the power was right at the pedestal. If it showed 50 amp at other camp grounds I am thinking it is a issue with the power supply at the campground and not a problem with your Intellitec unit. This is why I like my portable Surge Guard unit. It won't pass power to the coach if it isn't right. Bill
  7. Good question. Look hear for examples and help on cook times. http://www.gourmetsleuth.com/articles/detail/convection-cooking-adjustments Bill
  8. Nice coach. Fun way to get started with a 2000 mile shake down trip. I bet you had a list of things to add/to do when you got home to Albuquerque. Now as it says on the main page "It’s time to plan your trip to Chandler, Arizona, for the 95th International Convention: Rally in the Valley!" There will be lots of seminars and activities for first timers. Bill
  9. Welcome to the forum Alan. You are absolutely right. Bill
  10. Well going down memory lane. Remember when you called someone you didn't have to ask "where are you" because you knew if they answered the phone they were standing in the kitchen holding on to the phone or at work at their desk. But back on track I still can't see signatures in Chrome. WHY? Bill
  11. Welcome to the forum. Well the first question is are you sure you had 50 amp available at the pedestal? Bill
  12. If your wiper blades are the kind that use screws to hold them on you can buy adapters to use standard "J" hook blades. Bill
  13. Look for repellents with DEET. We pay close attention in North Texas because of West Nile and now Zeka. You might find this site useful. http://www.mosquito.org/repellents Bill
  14. Welcome to the forum JohnRye. You might try googling your current make and model of microwave. Most will give dimensions that way you don't need to pull it out till you are ready. Now find a microwave /convection that is the same size. I bought my last one from Home Depot online with free shiping. Bill
  15. Ok you can't shift into 6th. I don't think it is to hi of rpm, just higher than what I am use to seeing. I run about 1650 at 65 mph. Bill
  16. I am hoping to hear more on the new program with Continental. I bet it won't get rolled out till after the first of the year. Bil
  17. Did you call FMCA and see what the plan price was? Did you ask the tire dealer? Bil
  18. I think it was one of those "great ideas" that later proved to be not so great. That and propane was cheaper back then. They work well but use lots of propane. Bill
  19. I actually tried to find the right part number in the list and found it was easier to talk to the dealer to be sure I was looking at the right part number for my application. If you read what I posted carefully you will see I said to call FMCA and ask for the Michelin tire program office. Bill
  20. I normally don't look at non slide coaches but here are a couple more and one is on of those off brand coaches. http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/diesel/1987-Foretravel-Grandvilla-34190.htm http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/diesel/1997-American-Eagle-By-Fleetwood-33900.htm and for the fans of short no slide coaches. http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/diesel/1992-Regent-33673.htm Bill
  21. You are definitely ready for some new tires. I just used the Michelin program to by tires for my toad so let me see if I can help. Go to the local Michelin dealer and get the Michelin price and part number for your tire, then call FMCA ask for the Michelin program and give them the number and they will tell you the price. You might want to check on a couple different tires. Like the XRV. Bill
  22. This is why it is so important to have a toad. If you don't have a toad there is so much you miss because it is not accessible in a coach. Yes I have driven The Kancamagus Highway, great drive, I have recomended it to my friends with motorcycles. One thing I thought was fun is I-93 through the gap becomes a one lane freeway. Your basik 2 lane road made like a freeway. Bill
  23. I agree this is the only site that I have problems with. In IE my spell check doesn't work but it does in Chrome. Bill
  24. Heare is a hint, I can see my sig when using Internet explorer but not with Google Chrome. I like Chrome. Bill
  25. I wouldn't get to worried about the mountains out west. If you can drive the mountains in the East you can drive the mountains out West. I have found some steep grades in the east that made me question the 6% grade singe as they looked more like 12%. I have been up through Franconia Notch. We stayed down at Newfound Lake at Newfound RV Park. We were going to drive the toad to the top of Mount Washington but the line was 40 cars long and they wouldn't let anyone up till some came down. Maybe next summer. Bill
