  1. You do realize this goes back to 2018. By the way that is a little longhorn. If you come to Fort Worth there is a guy who will take your picture on his longhorn that he rides. Bill
  2. Mike, I want to welcome you to the forum. I have seen some of your projects and I am just a little jealous of all the toys you have in your shop. Bill
  3. Welcome to the forum. Double check that the battery temp sensor is installed and connected correctly. Bill
  4. Trust me we can help you spend your money faster than you would believe. Welcome to the forum. The first thing is to go weigh the coach with it loaded like you are leaving on a trip. Next set your tire air preshure. based on the load. Go on a few trips, I would do some local trips to help you get familiar with the coach and driving it. You should have most of the basics from your old camper. I agree with Kay keep a tablet and pen handy so you can wright down things you forgot. When you get home work the list. You don't want to be "that guy" who keeps borrowing the corkscrew to open your wine. Let us know how your first trip works out. Bill
  5. About the only thing with gas is to look at your Gas Buddy app to find who has the best price. Bill
  6. Don't understand what you are trying to say. The switch by door is not a circuit breaker so how is it kicking off? It would be very unusual to have the roof air routed through your Inverter. Bill
  7. Not enough info to make a guess. Welcome to the forum. Try again, what are you trying to do, what RV do you have. This is why it is helpful to put all your basic information in your signature so you don't have to enter it every time. Look at some of the others. Bill
  8. I cheated this last time When I bought a new to me camper the dealer (without asking me) put 6 new tires on. (on his dime) so I am good to go for the next 6 years. I will just start saving now so I will have the money then. Bill
  9. Nice rig. Carl you are getting slow. Bill
  10. Yes, Never had a problem. Bill
  11. Ok, looks like a stout set up. I am just not that familiar with the double tag set up. Bill
  12. All the manufactuers have similar warnings and most are more to cover their but. So owners don't try to do it when it is way out of level or so it is more stable. I can see a problem if the body was badly twisted it might be a problem I seldom put my leavlers down if it is a level site. I think you would be ok putting the slides out. PS. Are you shure they are hydraulic? That looks like a big electrical cable attached to the front of the unit. Bill
  13. Well once again the OP hasn't been back. Wayne, I was looking at that route because we are going east after Wyoming and Co. Most likely route is pick up I-80 to the south of Chicago then merge onto I-90 (The Mass Pike West) and take it the rest of the way to I-95 north.(take the 495 loop around Boston). We are going north of Portland ME. I don't see the "I-84 through CT to Sturbridge then maybe US-20" but I would stay on I-90 much better route and they have places to stop. I have been cross lots in New England and had a hard time finding a place to pull over and accessible fuel stations are tough to find.. It has been 2 years since the last time I was up there but I have been in that area a lot. Bill
  14. Perhaps you should go back and read what you posted. " bought two new tires. Next year I will get two more and in 2023 I will get two more that will complete a 100% change of tires before their 9th year." So do you start breaking the tires down to inspect the inside of the casing starting at year 7 like Michelin recommends? Bill
  15. Yet there you are talking about running tires longer than the accepted time. Wouldn't it be smarter to start 3 or 4 or 6 years before you need to replace them and put money aside in a savings/tire account so you will have it when you need it? On top of that you might make a little interest on the money. Bill
  16. Just curious what chassis /RV has four tag tires? Bill
  17. Most solar systems have a charge controller that will show what you are getting from the panels. Bill
  18. Then it would make sense to add "Check Propane Level" to your departure check list. I would also do like txiceman said and add a Extend-a-Stay so you can use a external tank when you are in one place for a while and save your onboard tank as a back up. I have done this with a 40 lb tank. This also lets you tap your onboard propane to power a grill or fire pit. Bill
  19. We are lucky and honard to have someone who is willing to put in the work nessacary to do that job. Bill
