  1. I would look at some of the wood/vinal flooring that Earnie puts down. Bill
  2. Ask the repair place where they take their RVs for inspection. Bill
  3. The fact you made it home is a big +. Bill
  4. Yes, it could be at least part of the problem. Have you tried the vinegar and mineral spirits method in a small place you didn't use the pledge? Bill
  5. But that was more about low voltage than being 30 amps. A soft start will do nothing to offset low voltage. Bill
  6. Well My take is Yes ,No , Maybe. I have had RVs that the AC started all at once. The newer AC units start the fan and then after it has stabilized it starts the compressor. This helps lower the big load of starting everything at once. Just curious, have you tried to run both on good 30 amp power? It would be interesting to see what the "actual draw was. I would definitely have a good Surge Guard to protect agents low voltage weather hooked up to 30 or 50 amp power. Bill
  7. Welcome to the forum. I would find a RV park and talk to them. You might get a better rate if you tell them you won't be there. Plus you can have it plugged in while you are gone. Bill
  8. Here is my tip. When you are ready to put the coolant back in after the last flush. (usually with distilled water) Find out the total capacity of the system. Now put 50% of that capacity with full strength un diluted coolant. Now fill the rest of the way with distilled water. This will give you a true 50/50 mix. The reason to do it this way is you can't drain all the water out of the system. Bill
  9. I will add National Indore RV Centers. https://www.nirvc.com/. Bill
  10. I got a discount at the Strips in Burnet when I was there a couple weeks ago. Bill
  11. Welcome to the forum. It is a good plan to be better informed when shopping for a RV. Something that may be as important is the dealer you work with. Bill
  12. What exactly does that statement mean? It is designed to make you think they are the same quality. All truck tires are made basically the same. Doesn't mean they are made to the same quality. I had Triangle tires on my last RV (they came on it) and they only lasted about 5 years before throwing a tread. I posted about it in Tires. Bill
  13. Ray, I think he is trying to generate traffic to his site to sell memberships/acess to the alleged ratings. Bill
  14. I will bet it would take a bit more to blow a RV over like yours or mine. Unlike a 5er or a tow behind we have a lot more mass low down on the frame. I can picture that in realey strong winds the front might move sidewise but it would take a bunch to push it over. Bill
  15. Just wondering how FMCA is determining weather someone has a RV or not. It is just like joining. You can say you have a RV and who is checking? Bill
  16. Yes that does seam a bit hi. What load range are they? Bill
  17. Yes look for a part number on the battery along with the model number of the bike. Bill
  18. If the winds/gust are over 40 like Carl said I would leave the jacks down but bring in the slides to protect the slide toppers. This also depends on how bad the wind is affecting the slide toppers. Bill
  19. Ok I can help you check both of those boxes. Go talk to National Indore RV Centers. https://www.nirvc.com/ . They were founded because the owner didn't like the service he got at outher places on his RV. Bill
  20. Congratulations! Now lets go camping. Bill
  21. I used Koni FSD's on my last coach with a FL chassis. I felt they improved the ride quite a bit. I am looking at Koni EVOs on the front and Koni FSD on the drive/tag on this Spartan K2 Chassis. The EVO is a newer desire for the front so we will see. Bill
  22. I think that would be a fun comparison. But what RV to use? Bill
  23. So you didn't go to NIRVC? Bill
