  1. Gregcass, Welcome to the FMCA Forums! Merry Christmas and happy New Year!!! Just curious, I remember seeing that they make larger capacity under the bed type of tanks. Wouldn't that be better than one in the bed? Bill
  2. Merry Christmas back at you. Bill
  3. Yes, I have provided snacks for them. LOL made me think of the mouse I found in my old Bounder. I was seting up in ABQ and found him hiding in a sewer hose. Dumped him out and he ran across the gras to the scrub and sand around the park. I can see him meeting another mouse and saying "You aren't going to believe this but". Bill
  4. What my poor old camper that is to old to get in some campgrounds. Yes it does manage to keep the basement toastey. I was down there when it was in the upper 30s ok it was 39 and opened a basement door and nice warm air came out. Bill
  5. Mike welcome to the forum. Unfortunately that car states in the owner's manual on page 257 The vehicle was not designed to be towed with all four wheels on the ground. If it is a front wheel drive only you could tow it with the front wheels on a dolly. All wheel drive can not be towed on a dolly. To bad it is a interesting car. Bill
  6. Saw this and had to share. It might be looking out Joes front door. Merry Christmas. Bill
  7. Herman it is parked down at my place in Joshua plugged into 50 amp service and the Oasis is set to 45 with both electric heaters on. I haven't done a full winterization yet probably won't. I use to winterize the last coach with a couple ceramic heaters. I don't see it getting cold enough long enough to be a problem in Texas. Merry Christmas!!! Bill
  8. Well the OP hasn't been back in a month. I would look for the flasher units up under the dash on the steering column and if they are the common ones used they are red. Bill
  9. Good that is what I was thinking but still new to this new system. The website spends lots of time talking about freeze protection/winterising of the water heater but not so much on the boiler fluid. Bill
  10. Welcome to the forum. Like jleamont said we need some more information. If you put that information in your signature file (see jleamont's) you don't have to do it everytime you ask a question. Now just guessing but make shure the thermostat is in the right "mode" and the right "zone" and temp is set high enough for it to turn on. Something else is when a propane furnace turns on it has a "purge cycle" if the sail switch doesn't move enough to make contact it won't light. Let us know what you find out. Bill
  11. John, welcome to the forum. Something you could try is to run your jacks through a full up/down cykle about 5 or 6 times and see if that helps. Could be a sticky valve. Bill
  12. Only leak I have had was the expansion tank had some cracks in it from age. Replaced the tank cured that. How often are you supposed to change the boiler fluid? Bill
  13. Welcome to the forum. Well isn't that a special place to hide them. Bill
  14. Well maybe not. These are not made the same as the cheap ones from office supply. They shut off the power rather than just try to absorb the excess. They have the ability to detect 240 power and not pass it to your coach. If I did get a E10 error code I would check it out. However the majority of problems come from low power. I don't think I have ever seen a hi/over voltage problem. I have seen nearly all the outher possible problems with power pedestals. That is one of the reasons I like having a portable unit. You can check outher power pedestals without moving the couch. Bill
  15. Welcome to the forum. You are right I wouldn't plug in my camper without one. From what I see they are "self testing" so if it runs through the self test and does not show a error code you should be good to go. Here is a link to a owners manual and their phone number. https://98fc35b2-8b52-49c0-9df1-33107348b2e7.filesusr.com/ugd/439d5a_202dbaab106d497baf233da34464ad95.pdf Bill
  16. They do list this tire for busses to so that may make it a big enough market.but not if it is to expensive. Bill
  17. All good questions. I also can't find any price for the monitoring unit. Everything I found is wanting to talk about "Fleet" prices. Bill
  18. Apparently this has been out for a while but I haven't heard about it so I thought I would pass it on. Continental, one of the largest automotive suppliers and tire manufacturers in the world, has released the industry’s first complete tire line with an embedded tire pressure management system (TPMS) sensor. https://www.continental-truck.com/truck/company/newsroom/100418-conticoachha3 Bill
  19. Ran across this and thought I would share. See what the guys at Motor Trend think about a New Airstream Flying Cloud. https://www.motortrend.com/cars/ram/1500/2021/airstream-flying-cloud-first-test-review/ Bill
  20. In the area I grew up (western NY on lake Erie) the average snowfall was 157". But I like to watch it on TV. Bill
  21. But what if the front of your toad is covered in love bugs and dirt and you miss some chips. Wouldn't that mess up your evidence? I do think the big wide mud flaps/advertising if adjusted wrong can flip dirt and gravel up onto your toad. I had to take mine off because I hit a big chunk of tire and bent it. But I have payed close attention to them since I have one now. Many are not adjusted right and drag at low speed but at hi way speed they blow back at about a 45 degree angle so they arn't doing much to protect the toad. Bill
  22. Still what's your point. How do you prove the chips happened when driving or when towing? Bill
