  1. Not that familiar with your coach but if you want lets try some ideas. The problem as you found out is there arn't many circuits and it is easy to overload them. Look in the wet bay for anouther GFCI outlet. I would look at the outlet in the bathroom to. You might look at plugin a heater into the circuit the microwave is on. They are usually 20+ amp circuits instead of 15. I wouldn't try running both at the same time. Bill
  2. I have to go with Jim. Magna Shade easy on and off and easy storage. So far I just keep them wiped down with 303 protectant. Bill
  3. Ray, that is a mirical. Well, we will have lots of good weather to go camping. Soon we will be complaining about the heat. Bill
  4. Sir Traveller, What do you think the problem is? By the way welcome to the forum. Giving them a little rest to blead any "float charge" off will give you a reading. It may be better to take them and have a load test to see if they have any problems. Bill
  5. The problem is not snow but ice. They put down brine but once you get a layer of ice you are done. Most of the time you can't see it esphialy in the dark. Don't make the mistake of thinking I can drive on it because I am use to winter driving. No one can drive on that glare ice. They had some videos on the news https://www.wfaa.com/ Bill
  6. Kay, I think there may be a valve used to control the hot water flow into the core. I have seen them not working before to. 1954bubba1954, Does your engine reach operating temperature? What temp thermostat did you install? Do you have the Ford chassis? Bill
  7. The battery's are dead. 12.7 is fully charged. Have you tried starting your RV to put in the slides? Make shure you set it to fast idle as soon as oil preshure comes up. Why? Let us know what you find. Bill
  8. Well it is 23 this morning in FW. They are talking measurable snow on Monday. I would check the weather before heading back. Bill
  9. niners843, Welcome to the forum. First thing I would do is check all around the edges of the slide to make shure nothing is blocking it. Have you tried to run it back out and in to see if it will free up? Bill
  10. Yes it made me remember a place I stayed in in FW back in 2000 when I was full timing in my RV. The park had a house in the back and the park owner charged lot rent if you rented the house. That is in addition to the house payment. Bill
  11. I am confused. What year range does it go from used to vintage to antique? Does not having valances on the outside lower my value? Bill
  12. Wow none of my tiny awnings on the outside of my RV come with any sorts of valance. Do I need to upgrade to get valances? Is it safe to drive without them? Bill
  13. Do you have to pay for the "site" as well as the cabin? Heck I may need one if they don't get to work. Bill
  14. I think it is absolutely amazing you have the same problem as the OP=Dennis Heider and able to state itso well. We are purchasing a new, 2021 Class A diesel motorhome. Our insurance agent noted from our VIN that the chassis is a 2017. It seems to me that we are not getting a complete 2021 new motorhome. What is normal in this regard? I could see perhaps one year older chassis due to the timing of the buildout, but not 4 years old chassis. What should I be concerned about? I think this devalues the motorhome and I’ll have to disclose it when I sell it. Bill
  15. Well it might warm up some in a week. They do have "winter mix" in the forecast. for Wed. and Thurs. Great camping weather no bugs.
  16. This looked interesting and quite advanced for it's day. There is a rummer it might be one of Carl's early coaches. Bill https://www.classic.com/a/mecum-chicago-2019-ln1yLnB/lots/1937-western-clipper-motorhome-peq6krp/?fbclid=IwAR2BXH7ObxERdueVdgCnUGzzIee-jnVWUw8eKbAtpM5fixHGvhu2ld1VxM0
  17. So explain this, on my last 4 stops at Love's the "fees" were all $0.40 per transaction. Yet the number of gallons varied. So at this point I will just take my $0.16 per gallon savings and keep on smiling. Just like I said in a previous post. I don't mind giving them $0.40 to save $15.42. Do you have a card? Bill
  18. I am wondering if you could do retro fit with a door like the newer Newmars have. You open the door and there is a set of folding steps that deploy. Looks like a realey good system. I like the PROTENG Fire suppression system to. Bill
  19. Nice, If you can, stay out for anouther week. We are getting a artic blast next week back hear. Bill
  20. First, welcome to the forum. What size tires are you running? If you are running 16" tires that greatly increases the places that can handle your tire purchase. If over 16" you will need to find a more commercial type dealer. who has the equipment. There is no need to lift the whole RV off the ground to change the tires. Let us know what you find out. Bill
  21. Great old coaches. I think I saw Herman and Carl in a couple of shots. Bill
  22. I agree with Kay. However I can just see the germophobic crown reaching for their bottle of sanitizer just because they read that. Bill
  23. Congratulations on your new job. Welcome to the forum. Bill
  24. Yes, I went back and re read the web site. Where it said "Our fee is 10% of the savings per gallon." I don't mind giving them $0.40 to save $15.42 (sample transaction at Love's).So that is why I couldn't see the correlation on savings. The fee was the same because savings per gallon was the same even though the total savings varied. Bill
