George, Welcome to the forum. I will second manholt's recommendation. National Indoor RV Centers, 4640 Nexus Way, North Las Vegas, NV, 89115 Phone: 702-766-7770 Bill

You can talk to whoever you want. I suggested Safelite because my insurance agent recommended them to fix a couple of chips on my last RV. He said all the insurance companies recognise them. I pretty much think you will need someone to do the work who has the equipment. Let us know how it goes. Bill

What does the owner's manual say? Have you looked under the coach? I would look at the Tiffin web site or call the hotline. What advantage do you see being in a small coach in a small campground? I have been in every state in the lower 48 and 4 Canadian provinces. Never had a problem with a 38 ft coach. Now I have one that is 7' longer and I still don't have any problem. Shorter in height might have been good sometimes but I don't see any advantage to a coach 3' 4"shorter. The ones I looked at had much smaller storage less counter and smaller bathrooms/showers. I have Comfort steer and I like it. The V ride is a Freightliner deal and I have a Spartan Chassis. You should go drive one and see for yourself. Where are you looking? When you drive the New Air I would drive something like a Mountain Aire for comparison. Try a King Aire. Bill

Just a thought. I would call someone like Safelight and get a quote on replacing the gasket. https://www.safelite.com/ps-brand?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Dallas/Ft Worth:Brand&utm_term=safelite&cl_aid=safelite&cl_vend=google&cl_ch=sem&cl_camp=794299332&cl_adg=46909228288&cl_crtv=427804444933&cl_kw=safelite&cl_pub=google.com&cl_place=&cl_dvt=c&cl_pos=&cl_mt=e&cl_gtid=kwd-257252597&gclid=Cj0KCQjw9IX4BRCcARIsAOD2OB2zVo1R81iYzKNd8qaT7sqTEGw6SSs4x-bbjefTtkLL-7OCI4hauUEaAhuHEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds Bill

I would like to know what FMCA is doing to recruit some of the thousands of new people entering the RV lifestyle. This has been a period of unbelievable growth, with more people than ever before buying RVs of all kinds. Bill

Yes, and hence my question on what type surge guard he was using. I have seen low voltage cause more problems than over voltage. I would like to put a data tracker on that circuit to see the power swings. I am not going to say "Carl said it first" Bill
-
Tim like Carl said If the fuse keeps blowing, I would step up a notch. I might try to find a 7.5 amp before going to a 10 amp but yes. Tim, what kind of Surge guard are you using? Carl this my 2ed residential. I changed out the one in the last coach myself. I don't see me ever going back to an absorption unit. Bill
-
Tim, glad to help. Bill
-
I think there is a fuse on the circuit board. Bill
-
What kind of time frame are you talking about? Absorption refrigerators can take 12+ hours to cool down. Many recommend 24 hours before adding food. Bill

Mahdialbassam, Welcome To The FMCA Forums! Did it do this to both front tires? If it was only one it is probably a sticking brake caliper. If it is both do like jleamont said. Just out of curiosity, you did set it up so the steering wheel turned? Let us know. Bill

There are many ways and places to get in trouble with a RV. Places where just because you can doesn't mean you should. Carl's Tail of the Dragon is one and most of the roads in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. They have very narrow lanes and worse they have trees and rock outcroppings that stick out into/over the road way. You can drive under them in a car but........ Bill
-
Not necessarily. If you get in and start it and set it up for driving, where you can apply a little preshure to the tow bar, then put it in park, how is that different? Catman300, I towed for a couple of years with a dolly, I think you will like the change. Bill
-
Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your new RV. I have never towed with a Jayco. Is this a new one? I think you will be ok. Just make shure you have a good auxiliary break system for the jeep. Bill
-
Thank you for your service and welcome to the forum. Don't be a stranger. Bill
-
I would call the factory help line and find out what kind of resin was used and what they recommended to repair it. Bill
-
You might want to check on the new restrictions the Governor of NM just imposed. Bill

At the last little rally I was out walking the dog and watching several people coming in and setting up. Unhooking the toad, this seems to be a challenge for a lot of people. This is the process I have developed over maney years of travel. When you are ready to unhook the toad, if you have a auxiliary brake you have to remove do it now. Get in and start the toad. Put it in drive and let it put just a little preshure on the towbar. Put it in park. You can leave it idling if you need to charge the battery or shut it off. Now when you unlock the towbar with the leavers on the bar it will be in a neutral position. You should be able to easily remove the pins The toad is not going to run you over or try to run away. Try this number. 103 Campus Drive, Gaffney, SC 29341, P: 855-253-0421 F: 864-206-8755. On my last Freightliner it had a MODEL: XC CHASSIS. The Desiccant cartridge is HDX DQ6036. The Coalescing filter is HDX DQ6032. This is why it is helpful if you put your coach and some basic information in your signature. It saves time and gets better answers. Bill

This might be the perfect spot to use a Li battery, no outgassing, fast recharge, more usable capacity. The only negative is the cost. Bill
-
Glad you found it. I have never seen the batteries under the bead. How maney? I have usually found water tanks under the bead. Bill
-
First I would double check the batteries and do a load test. Next I would look up in the manuel for your inverter and find out what the beeping signifies. With the coach running and no outher power connected use a meter and see what the voltage is at the batteries. Bill
-
What I have found is a gas absorption unit it is plugged into a standard 110 circuit. The outher is from the inverter to power the ice maker when no outher 110 power is available and running on propane. I used this outlet for power when I installed my residential refrigerator upgrade. Bill

Welcome to the forum. Is it a Ford Chassis? Look Behind the drivers door in the house part is a drawer holding a very large D8 house battery, Maybe. The start battery is on the driverside. Sometimes they used the passenger side for a house/deep cycle Battery. Good luck and let us know. Bill

The only thing I would caution is make shure all your equipment is for 10,000 pounds or greater and get a good auxiliary brake set up for the truck like the M&G braking system. https://m-gengineering.com/ Bill
