Brett is right on and that goes for any road out there.

That is a Charter Bus, not a motor home, they are even more built up than a Converted Prevost. Richard, apples to apples please. Not apples to oranges!

Joe S. At that rate, give it another 3 years+. You will know when it's broke in! We normally, would find a full stop around 550 miles and take about 85-90 gal. Coming back from Gillette, WY., on secondary roads, Linda asked me, when do we need to fill up? I had not looked at my tripometer in a long time...beautiful scenery around and in the Badlands of South Dakota was a distraction, I looked and it read 727 miles! I puckered up and all kinds of thoughts went thru my mind, as I calmly asked Linda to find a fuel stop on her computer. At 816, I pulled into a local, no name, fuel stop in Imperial, Kansas...Took 110 gal of diesel.

I took Chicago to Austin Texas last year, No underpasses that was less than 14' 6"...I'm 12' 6" high and 45' long! We travel with a Truckers Atlas, fold up state maps & look at Satellite goggle each morning before leaving campground...been using regular maps for 50+ years !!! GPS will put you in a farmers field. Been there, done that, and don't want another T-Shirt.

Gjenne. Welcome to the Forum! I hate it, when I know that I fell through the crack's! Really sorry for your ordeal. Every thing is on hold now, until Wed., then I would call up and ask to speak to a Supervisor and if you still can't get some type of satisfaction, then call FMCA and ask to speak with Dan Ball, Director of Membership Services! Hope you get this resolved. Merry Christmas🎄

A foot note, unless that's been changed also. You can look for someones status, if you have their F# also...it should show active or inactive.

This time of year, 10, 62, 285. The 70/380 takes you over El Capitan, then Lincoln, it's snow, ice and a very rough road, one lane most of the way and a lot of sharp turns in the Lincoln area, until you join the Ruidoso Hwy in Hondo. Stay safe...Merry Christmas🎄

Extended Warranty on 2006 Winnebago DP
manholt replied to oldgrape's topic in Extended Service Policies
Jim, some do, some don't...GS does! $12K/3 years = Highway Robbery! Maybe for a Prevost or Newell, but I doubt it. -
JS. In a word, Yes! However, if there is no special promotion or sale going on, then on a day to day basis, FMCA Tire, Fleet Program, is a sweet deal.

Thank you! We are on the Fantasy Tour, 61 day, Maritime Providence, this 2019 summer. Agree, on the cost part, from Burnet County, TX and back, we figured it will cost the better part of a new Jeep Wrangler! However, since we have a 45 foot coach, by doing Fantasy, we will know where to camp, in the event we wish to go back on our own! For any one who want's to travel Canada or to Alaska. If your going to Alaska and you feel naked, without a gun, like me and Linda, send the gun in a hard case with no bullets, via Fed EX. If your travel is Canada...Leave the gun at home and make sure there are no loose ammo in your coach, bays or toad! ZERO Tolerance!!! Merry Christmas and a Happy, Safe New Year! 🎄

BUILDING RV PAD / TEXAS HILL COUNTRY
manholt replied to eric@babin.com's topic in General Discussion
Wayne, yes! You should look at the group PM more often! #1 inverter decided to give up, last Friday, 3 hours after I left TCC for the Ranch. Came back here Sunday PM and had a new inverter Monday...now, if my #1 EMC don't come in tomorrow am, I'm headed to Ranch #2, west of Three Rivers for Christmas...Linda has been there, since Sunday! Sorry Eric, for stealing your post. We do that sometimes! -
I think it was to big for a mouse...rat. Must have been several generations, elect problem has been on going since 2013, when I bought it. No more blinking touch pads...I have had Tech's from Allied and REV all over the coach at AC Rallies! Fleetwood, you got to love em!
-
Your problem might be your inverter! I had one blow up on me last Friday, had a new one installed Monday...All of my electric gremlins are gone! Now I'm waiting on a EMC that also went bad, no lights in bedroom!

Eric, I enjoyed it & you got to start somewhere! I retired at 42, people thought I was crazy...been busier since then, than I ever was when working! My youngest first cousin in Norway 37, informed me 2 hours ago that he just retired this morning....Sold his half of a Animation Co. $1.8 Billion tax free!!! He said that now, he's free to do what he wants! I told him, "If your looking for nothing to do? Go back to work"! Merry Christmas🎄 -
Rich, hot water under floor in house? Yes, I got it. In a coach? Never heard of it.

Parking an RV while on a cruise
manholt replied to bgracemercy@gmail.com's question in Destinations/Attractions
Welcome! Hollywood, FL. Has RV Parks, with H/U and a lot of cruise rig experience. It serves both Miami Port & Ft. Lauterdale, 20 miles away. NYC or Baltimore or Boston, don't have a clue! Have always come in by plane!!! -
Time for a squeaky, clean inside, transmission and new fluid. Not sure if I would do it at Lakeland Ford, there's got to be a good transmission shop in Lakeland, FL. There are a lot of coach owners in your area...been there! Merry Christmas🎄
