Total agreement. I would not wan't to live west of Junction! I'mt not a fan of far West Texas...have you seen Pecos lately? It's the size of Ft. Stockton and growing!
-
I'm surprised at the problems your having...is that on a 2006 chassis? I'm asking, since the "Big Bang" in Banking was 2007!
-
We have that in the house, shop, barn & pump house! Never thought about coach...nice!

B. You moving to Texas?

Verizon New Non Capped Unlimited Service.
manholt replied to cwswine's topic in RV Internet to Go/Staying in Touch
Unlimited is a poor choice of terminology! Noting wrong with provider. Use your phone or ipad as another hot spot for 2 weeks! Linda, get's 25 on each device...I get 2, no phone! -
Unfortunately, some coaches like Linda's, is over wired on GFCI's. She has one in bedroom, one in bathroom, 2 in kitchen and one by front TV! All inter connected. If she has TV on and then makes coffee...Trip! According to Tiffin...it must have been re-wired by original owner. BS. Brett, your correct & so is Ray!

Bill E. Just fly to Texarkana this week & you can be with WBill, Herman and me at the Lone Star Christmas Rally, where Herman will be installed as President & I as 1st VP! Linda will make her Pecan, rum bread pudding, with praline, rum sauce!

Joe. That's a great read and important. Unlike you, I would have to spend the $4,000+! You got rid of yours with $600 in parts...then there is the Labor cost. Your post is on page 58, under Engines on Forum! F433921, I suggest you read Joe's post.

Ray. That should work well. Is that SNOW your standing on? If so, you two need to be in Yuma!!!

dianahc. If it's a company owned coach, you'll have a lot off write of money! Otherwise, that's throwing a hunk of cash away! There are a lot of windshields on coaches, that don't use glue, it's held in place by a gasket and they loss their elasticity over time! Give a call to your coach manufacturers tech department. What's the make and model of your coach?

I have my Cummings Serviced once a year and make it a point to fill up tank before I deliver coach...150 gal. I have enough Gremlins, don't need to make more! So, bite the bullet and pay the extra $20-30 more to fill up in WA. You might save $2,000+! Don't forget the Biocide!

Herman. Yes! They are 2,800 each. Never had "Grid overload"!
-
Welcome. When was the last time you used it? Is the Antifreeze level where it should be? If your not on shore power, turn on generator. Check your cb on inverter. What switch? Are you on a 12V or 24VDC system? When was it serviced last?

2500 Allison and no full throttle downshift - at times

Mark. You have the best at hand. I'm as lost as your Tech's are! Only thing I see, is a loss of communication, between your engine & transmission. Sorry. -
Suggest you turn off space heather, before making coffee. My Fiance has the same problem in her 40' Phaethon!

He's a good friend. We'll be at a Rally next week! He picks, I pick! So is Jim S. We have breakfast together, when I'm home at the ranch! 😎 Most of us on this tread, have met each other.
-
I agree with Jim S. & WBill is horrible at spelling! 😎
-
Sorry, did not occur to me, where in TC you lived. I'm in Spanish Grant, Bay side ! About the same.

Don't know the size of your coach fuel tank, but it's bigger than a rabbit. Condensation and green growth in your tank, will lead to a more costly bill, than your trip to Hawaii, for what ? Thirty cents a gallon!!!
-
Jim, Cummings Support is available 24/7/365 by phone...call a Tech today! Also call REV Group & Tech Dept. for a PDQ on your coach, have your VIN# and Engine # handy!
-
I suspect he did so already and we will hear from OP after this weekend.

Just curious..pull behind or 5'er, slides, length, used or new? Ohio is cold in winter, is he heading south?
-
As long as everything he has is 12VDC...I see no problem! Why does he not want to run his propane furnace? I re-read his quote. A inverter/charger would be my choice, but for that, he would need a small portable generator...all can be done for about $1,000. Also, see Brett above..he came in while I was responding!

How COLD is it in your area now? Is your fuel tank full? You said, water/foaming in fuel water separator. Did you drain it until just fuel ran out? As you said, your not new to diesel engines....we all overlook the simple things at times! You know, 2,500 rpm's at idle, is not normal. If your dipping below 32 degrees at times during winter, get anti gel and the white Kleen for winter!

No back entry on mine...got to go in from front or take down the Hall mirror...we just tried the front, no way! So, I will tackle that in the morning, just wish I had something to show, how it's set up in back, other than the hot/cold lines! Yes, I will shut off all water to coach & AH. Looked for & could not find a shut off valve to bathroom...I'm 45Y! dianahc. I'm truly sorry for robbing your Post. We will help you also!
