    Tachometer Quit

Jim. When you get your tach working and in sync with your speedometer, do as I have on all my toys. Make a note of optimal (sweet spot) speed/RPM in each gear on regular and economy settings. That way, one or other goes out again, then you have control still.
  2. Labor vs. Replacement....was it worth it?
  3. Don't get me started on French, reverse, engineering! That said, yes the tables should be the same. Brett, different terminology, but the meaning is the same also! Bill. Your welcome! Good Luck and safe travels, come back anytime!
  4. Joe. The cheapest way is to scrub it down with a grease cutter and re apply gold flake, then apply a couple of coats of clear....any Hobby Shop has it. About $40
  5. Joe. Sorry, forgot about that place. It opened with 200 sites for first responders after Hurricane IKE, became very popular and now is the biggest on Island. I have personal reasons for not using them! Will let you know in a email if you ask!
  6. Bill E. I have all my "stuff" with State Farm now and all vehicles are covered for breakdown and towing, up to 200 miles, my choice!
  7. Joe. I replaced mine with a Delta, 6 adjustment head, it's on a hand held/hands free hose and cost $44 at Low's! They have them at Amazon also.
  8. I sincerely hope that will take care of your leak! I had a new one last week in a hard Texas downpour, light fixture mounted under my Passenger slide. We think off re roofing, but forget that the same material is covering our slide out and by the time the roof goes, so does the top of slide out. I had all 4 re done before I replaced my Slide Toppers 3 months ago! They missed a dimple size hole...at the right angle junction, where the slide joins the body, in the out position. I'll know in the next storm, if we got it...did a flood test with water hose and no leak yesterday, but can't duplicate wind driven rain! We all have heard about RV Armor roofing! But you still got to do your slide out's, even if you have flush slides....Newell, Prevost, Foretravel or King Air!
  9. Not looking a head to my 100+ gallon fill up Wednesday! Don't think it will be any cooler in the Santos area of TX.
  10. WBill. There are a few on I-10 between Kerrville and Fort Stockton! Works both ways!!!
  11. I'll look into that. Yes, it does! I know that entry point well...you would think, on a K2 chassis, that would not be a issue!!!
  12. Between me and Linda, 6 each and 5 of them full. In my coach, I got about 40 micro cloth's! She has the same in her coach....we will leave hers in barn for Summer!
  13. RSBill. I was hoping you would pipe in....it was going nowhere fast. Good to see your still alive.
  14. Done that both ways, several times over the last 12 years. A 40' DP & 2500 Chevy 4x4, Duramax Toad, 45' DP & Jeep Wrangler Toad...no problem from Kramer Junction, CA., to Carson City, NV., then Hwy 50 (Loneliest Hwy)., Also, 395 thru OR. Hwy. US 95 From LV, NV., to Hwy 78 to 395. Have no clue about Hwy 6, outside of Texas!
  15. Richard. What is the CU. Ft. of your unit? Have found several different brands and sizes, from 2.7cu to 7cu, that are all DC/AC....Out of the box, think Marine. Not RV! $879-$1,300..
  16. Joe. Regular! I'll be all nice and shiny in Ruidoso...

Jim. You have REV group in Coburn, OR. Call Tech dept., they probably have what you need in stock. The odor, could also be a shorted wire...can you get at the back side of Tack to check wires?
  18. Ian. We have a bunch of folks that come every year from Indiana & Minnesota, November to April, can't miss them....they are the one's in shorts at the Beach and Golf Course! This past winter was very unusual.....had one in early 1983, last. February is 50/50 fog, sun & 45 night, 65 days. March is when we plant. 55 to 75! If your on the Island, daily rates for FHU is $35 to $50 avg for year! Winter is high season. Suggest you book within the next month for next winter!
  19. I'll stick with Lucas Slick Mist. If it's good enough for show cars, it should be good enough for the coach!
  20. Yep! More and more businesses coming back daily, same with RV parks & Resorts!
  21. A new "Y" in the road! There's always day trips! You might want to look along Hwy 145, between Dolores and Telluride, also in the Telluride area!
  22. Mine is a 45' 11". Have seen plenty of 47' Newell's and a friend travels wit us up there, he's got a 48' Fifth Wheel, no problem! A lot of people, when they get older, has problems with high elevation.....I'm in 7,000 to over 13,000 almost daily during Summer, but not 9,000+, 24/7! Takes me 2 weeks playing golf to get acclimated at 7,000+ !
  23. The only fly in the ointment, would be numbers...there are aproxmentaly 77,000 FMCA members, what % live in Canada? What % of Canadians winter in lower 48 that are FMCA members? Numbers game!
