  1. Brett. I have no problem with any of this. Very happy that we have FMCAssits to begin with! Unfortunately, due to human nature, this issue is not going away, anytime soon.
  2. Kay. My "moment", more than once, was in 24' to 33', 96" not 102" and low roof height's. I don't even want to think, what a disaster it would be today! Carl
  3. A long time ago, I had more $$ going out, than I was bringing in! Took me over 4 years to pay off all the cards and the car...after that, I decided I was not going to buy anything that I could not pay cash for! I have one C Card that I never see a bill on!
  4. Ray. Nice to have you back!
  5. Mine is a Kwikee. My OP was in 2013, June I think. Rich is actually the one who came closest to solving the puzzle of why a step will stick in up/down position! The motor is not the reason, most of the time, it's the armature that needs to be reset. Last year, it stuck half out and I took my trusty rubber head hammer and gently hit the motor assembly, that caused the armature to move and step came out, shut door and in it went. The easiest way to mess up the in/out is to step on the step, before it comes all the way out!
  6. Darn it. After looking at the women, I forgot what I wanted to say! Don't even remember the video... Carl
  7. When I had the WB 40' DP, it was at 120psi....90 seems real low...my light and alarm would come on at 75. Current coach is 130 & alarm at 75. Carl
  8. Joe. Your suppose to eat before the roll up the sidewalk!
  9. There are also a lot of "Old Covered Bridges" out there, that don't come close to height and weight minimum...not talking about historical either! Thank fully we found them in toad or scooters...mostly in PA. Also, in Mass., NH around Lebanon area and all over Vermont.. I've never seen a Fed. Law Police!? Have you? Carl
  10. Glad your back on the road again! 6 weeks is a long time to be down... Carl
  11. Ray. Are you still trying to sell your good looking and well cared for coach? Or have things changed to the better with Hana? Carl
  12. Bill E. The dips was mostly in Calif. desert area, the low bridges, one was 10', was in NH and Vermont. Take a toad for sightseeing, including PA Amish country and up state NY.
  13. I as I'm sure you have had those awkward moments, when you have to unhook toad, tie up traffic, because your to high for that RR bridge in the New England area! Then back up and try to turn around... I also wish some one would come out with info on dips, have seen too many RV's stuck high center, with most wheels of ground. Messy!
  14. Herman. Not for both sides of coach. You need the Union 15 min. break.. Sflute. Welcome to the forum! Your thought about a roof leak test, is a good place to start...capillary action from roof makes more sense, than my other thoughts! Luck. Carl
  15. It's been a long time coming, now are you also a member of FMCA? Congratulations! Carl
  16. How did we get from Speeding ticket in Texas, to Turner County GA. ???? Carl
  17. Keon. Call them and ask what their rates are. It would help if you had the coach! As Herman said, anything that needs replacing or work done on coach, after you buy it, can be done at Motorhomes of Texas...they also use Xtreme! Since they are about 2 miles away from each other...Google them and look at all the used, well cared for coaches they have for sale! You may want to buy one at M of T! What kind of coach you thinking off buying? Carl
  18. Wayne. In 08' CW was good. I bought a Southwind from CW and had it serviced by them, no problem! Last time, I went to CW was in 14', my step was stuck in up position and I tried everything that was suggested on this Forum. CW told me I needed a new motor, the Tech took the number of the motor and had one ordered, a week later, I was informed that they got the wrong motor. I asked, are you sure the tech wrote the correct info of motor? He did, but parts person who did the ordering, did not. I told them to put the old motor back in, it worked...huh! Have had no further problems since! Bill A. You also are correct...I just wish there was a list of good/bad...and pigs will fly! Carl

Brett. "Launch"? Don't think any of us, want to "launch"...
  20. glspanchose. Welcome to the Forum! Prior to the Marcos Lemonis take over off CW, I had very little problem with them and from 1973 until 2012, CW was my go to if I was in the area of one. Now, no way! Had too many bad, silly mistakes and gave them up. Now, I will buy parts from them and have it installed somewhere else. In Texas we also have PPL, parts and service is great. In the area you live, I would recommend that you Google the items you want to tow your toad with, get the best price, have it shipped to you and then if you don't want to, or can't install it your self, take it to any good garage. Carl
  21. Joe, if you can get the top down, I suspect it will be Sat....maybe. Mess of rain heading your way. WBill should move to that area, he knows more about it, than the natives! That's not a bad thing! Carl
