  1. Kay. I would take your coach, any time, over a Custom Conversion by a Manufacturer! I don't like "Bling"! It has no useful purpose and a total ***** to keep clean!
  2. WOW.. That's a new meaning, to the sign "Falling Rocks"! They're going to study how to remove the rocks? Hello, you got the dozer there, push it off the road ! Or will that kill off the "protected", boulder flea? Geez! Carl
  3. Agree! A friend from Phoenix has been at Mesa Verde RV Park for the past month, across from entrance to the park. Took the Railroad 4 years ago, an all day'er and well worth it...so is the one out of Chama. I have always felt that if your in the Mountains, it's because you want to enjoy the weather and view's...I figure that if an 18 wheeler can make the run, so can I... There are a few exceptions to my rule, but their on the East Coast.
  4. The exception to that, is a Marathon, Millennium, Liberty, Coach Works or Texas Outlaw...16 years old & your still talking $150K to $200K, 06' models are in the $500K+ range! On a cookie cutter coach, over 10 years old, yea...cash and carry! 94' is market value...just like the old GMC's, who cares how many times it's been upgraded? Only the seller! A 94' Prevost...I might consider $25K, but it would have to be in great shape! Bill Adams has a 88' and he's at Prevost, Dallas waiting on parts, bet their and the labor is not cheap! Carl
  5. Jim, Small world...Herman will be in Shawnee, OK for FMCA 6 State Rally in September.... Byron, as I said earlier, your vacationing in the wrong part off the country! But, I got to leave the cool mountain, Monday morning, so I also will be sweating! Carl
  6. Michelin and BF...happened in 2014, fleet price about 35% less than Michelin! Carl
  7. Director of Tech Support....amazing! Not a division of Camping World? Just for giggles, I would call Sales. Your response was not insulting...I'm not PC and would have verbally torn him apart! Ridicules!
  8. Bill E. What trucking years? I'm a retired Drilling Consultant, also, known as "Oil Field Trash"! Not that I have anything against truckers or anyone who works/worked for a living! We all had to do something to make ends meet.
  9. beford, Yea, you can use it, just cover food....Oh. Forget Ice for a while, just shut off water to fridge. won't hurt you but it has a yuk taste!
  10. What is it with all the lines...OJT is running our Forum now?
  11. I always let folks experience Wolf Creek Pass, some are looking for a Bar after, some think nothing off it. I enjoy the scenery! That breakfast is to die for, big problem is the reservation at park.
  12. gilmorj. Welcome to the Forum! Hwy. 285 to 160 or go back to I-25 . If your not short on time, go to I-70W to Moab exit, Hwy 191 head for Monticello, then take 491 to Cortez and turn East on 160 to Durango. My recommendation is Hwy. 285S...been up and down in 34' gasser to 45DP. How did you get to Estes? Carl
  13. What I was thinking, or use the edge of the front windshield, driver side....Been a lot easier, had they wanted the wheel, between the lines! Maybe that's step 2? As Kay said...practice makes perfect...whether they make you do it next test or not, you really should know, where your front and sides are, instinctively all the time! Luck Carl
  14. Have only 2 thoughts, check with Cummins South Plains, loop 610E, Houston or call Prevost in Dallas, also Marathon in Dallas. That's 3... Brett or Blake may know more, also Wild Bill and Wayne. Now you got all Texans...OOp's, forgot Herman.! Carl

    Super Singles

In Europe the big rigs, delivery Box trucks, buses, gravel trucks and cement mixers all have singles. However they all also have more than one drive axel, some I have seen up to 4! Tour buses have a drive and a tag...just like I do, but even with the weight of passengers and luggage, they don't come close to my empty weight! Carl
  16. Every ones front is different, based on year, Manufacturer and Mode. So, what do you have? Also, can you take the driving test in another location? Get it set up for as close to noon as possible! Carl
  17. Ahhh....the famous French capitulation, a white flag! Did DW say that she would use you for her magnets? With pins substitute?

    XRV 55301

That explains it...only had one FL chassis, heavy 40' DP....I did not like the ride, hard to determine that part on a test drive on I-10 in Katy!
  19. I can't go on the roof either..it's in my case, called "old", things don't move as it used too! You did not wreck my world. Never assume anything, about anybody! Who recommended the Company? Did you call Fleetwood Tech Dept. to see if it was a good product for your coach? BBB? Your an Accountant, think like a Bank. Never pay upfront, when the job is finished, you have it inspected by a professional inspector....then if it's all OK, you pay! No reputable Co. would have a problem with that ! How to remove the visible patches? I have no clue. Call Fleetwood or take coach to a dealer. In the meantime, I suggest you use the internet to learn as much as you can about the material that was used. Carl

Herman, I did the same as you! Had it been Toyo's or G's...same! 255 80R 22.5, that's a new one on me!
  21. And the winners are...The Law Firm! I guess Joe is under the undisclosed settlement, since his caught fire! He'll probably get $3.94...
  22. Steve. Welcome to the Forum! Interesting Post. Carl
  23. As you said, it's a quality product. OK, it ran. Perhaps you know more than the installer knows. Live with it, or have your concerns taken care of by someone else. Surly they must have more than one installer! I would have my roof checked for leaks next year, and every 2 years after...it's Polymer (Goggle it)! This post originally, until you posted, had to do with RV Flex Armor TM. Nothing or nobody else! It would also help if you post what kind of coach you have and year.
