  1. $2,873! 6 weeks ago at Texas Custom Coach...windshield is $840, rest is shipping, packing & labor! Now my toad windshield needs replacing... I'm going to remove the big mud flap and place one behind drive axel on each side and see what happens! Tired of guessing game....
  2. My DW, when she was among the living used to tell me where to go...all the time.
  3. I was looking above the side radiator grill...1/2 way up side of coach rear. Looks like an 8" X 12" cover or tape, perhaps it's just the angle of picture..
  4. Herman, the answer to that "please don't ask how I know this"...is on another post you did about 18 months ago! I still get the giggles!
  5. Thanks, Brett. That posting is great...all bases covered! Carl
  6. Joe. Back in it's time. You have a top of the line HR and they built the coach as best they could 14 years ago, so it does not surprise me. Redundancy can be a good thing!
  7. Saw the picture. Just wondering if you attach your water hose to the faucet fitting and turn the blue (witch normally indicates potable water) valve open, would fill the water tank? Make sure DW or other is in coach to monitor what's going on!
  8. Joe. Even if you are "hard wired, like BillAdams", it's still necessary to test the incoming juice...mine came with a built in Surge Protector, but I still put one on the pedestal. Especially at FMCA Rallies!
  9. True. Nothing was mentioned about inspection, Bill.
  10. Herman. You been there? I have, I did not overfill, my DW did it while I was on my way back from Singapore. The coach had a semi transparent water tank, that was under the lower bunk bed and if too full it would bulge...it went down to 23 degrees that night...guess what I came home to? That was the biggest home made, ice cube I had and still have seen!
  11. Certainly hope you have better luck with this one! Don't know where you live, but me, the only way I would fly anywhere, for a coach, is to P/U a new one! Good Luck & let us know how it turned out. Carl
  12. I'm like Blake, plus there is a separate connection for city water hose in dump bay, that will fill fresh water tank by using a separate on/off lever...never used it. It's faster to just place hose in the little door and fill as much as I want to carry. Normally around 60 gallons. Carl
  13. Thanks, Brett, for the reminder...I guess I need 2. Left the other in NE Texas, when they changed out our system and gave me a brand new pedestal.
  14. Have found that the curly ones last about as long as a standard Phillips, for 3 times the price, some give up, before my regular bulbs! I leave the bays open in the barn, with the lights on...cats like it and they keep the mice away... In the winter, there are more cats than in Summer and yes, they have mostly turned into "Garfield's"...James DW, keep feeding them!
  15. I just looked at the outside picture again....is that Duck tape in the back?
  16. Rich. Underground temps are 57 degrees. In the South, you just have to dig deeper than in the North! Water lines are reverse, N deeper, because of cold. In the South, about 18" is the norm! Carl
  17. There are plenty of short DP's!
  18. Have you felt the tires for excessive heat, or looked for rubbing marks? Electrical smell is different from rubber smell. What was the size of the original front tire? Carl
  19. FIVE. I use those lights also, when in Gladewater, TX. in Winter or Kaplan, LA., same time...use heat lamp bulbs in mine.
  20. Ernie. Very nice and comfortable looking coach! WOW!!! Thank You for the pictures.. Carl
  21. Well, you still should keep the Bio fuel under 15%...not driving it at all for 6 mos? not good for my stress level !
  22. Sorry for your predicament...I don't take any Rx, occasional Advil. That's all. Had a Doctor tell me at my last physical, every Feb., that if I quite smoking, I would live longer! I'll be 74 in Feb. My plan now, is to out live him and he's 47! I'm out off ideas! Last thought, why can't the nurse at Doctors office mail the monthly scripts to you? Just call a week in advance, let her know where your at and give the address to RV park!
