With just me in here, yes. Have done 10 days, several times. I have a hunting/fishing camp on a friends property in LA., it's 1.6 miles from the house, took 10 months to build it. I could only get within .3 miles, due to deep rutted dirt road. No H/Up's....now the whole 1.6 miles is paved and I have a 200' x 300' parking slab with full H/Up's and cable. The camp is on beams, 20' high, 1280 sq. ft. Main cooking area is on a cement slab under house and a covered slab next to it,...Larry and his family use it also.

Here I thought I would get "a free lunch'! Glad to see that no one can call me a liar... BillA. Herman. Do you live in a Barnominium? I know your out in the country! Way out.. -
Lyle. Do you know where Rocky Point, Mexico is? I watched as they did a whole 42' Fifth Wheel...my best friends, 2 years ago...it's amazing, $800 US. They have a lot off shops down there and stiff competition. Google it if you don't know where it's at. about 4 hrs. due south on 85 from Phoenix. 84km from border...very safe. Puerto Ponesco, on the Sea of Cortez! I'll be there after the Winter FMCA rally in March! Carl

2 separate inverter/chargers, both charge 4 house batteries and one also does engine when on inverter and 50A HU or 20A in garage! Both have charge on/off and inverter on/off. When coach is stored and on 20A, I shut everything off except refrigerator, then put one on inverter and 5A charge and one on 5A charge. That's why it's a mystery to me, why so much battery for Fridge? Run a Onan Diesel 10KW gen. 150 fuel.

Routine Maintenance Suggestions for Houston Area

Blake. Inside your coach, OK, not mine unless you take celling down. Rear AC, probably thru vent, the other 2, no vent under AC. Last post by OP was 10 hrs. ago. How do you crawl on a roof with a beer in your hand? I don't do roof ! Air drier insp. definitely...I change filter when I change oil, about every 12-14 months, that also depends on how dusty the area is that I have run coach. 2 years ago, I changed filter after 2 months, got caught in a dust storm on I-10 between Las Cruzes and Lordsburg...got off in Deming, then they closed the Freeway, for 18 hours. Here hold my wine! -
Brett, FIVE and Kay. Thank you. I also owe a TY to Bill E. and Joe. It now makes sense to me, because I can picture the set up in my mind. I know that I have a 2,800 PSW, so I assume (I hate that word) that each Inverter/charger is 1,400 PSW. I will check that out, like FIVE I have the step by step installation manual....did not make much sense until now! Kay. The 24V gas generator, is that the only generator you have? Your coach is 40' & no slide outs? Or did you modify and add slide's?

Stay far away from CW! Tow Bars are universal, just a matter off personal preference. Base plate are based upon model year, you'll find that jeep is easy to come by...that is the only thing I would order from CW...Base Plate and the bar...have any garage put it on and match your electrical to the coach...I recommend for breaks, M & G Engineering, because their easy and work with you coach air break system, you have nothing in the jeep to take out each time you disconnect from bar. -
Good thought.

Byron. Happy early Birthday! Had you come nine days early...I could have an extra glass of wine tonight in your honor! Think I'll do that anyway.. Joe, give my best to Kay, last time I went through after Perry, I missed him by 5 minutes. Darn!

Lot of sense there, especially if you have never rolled the RV dice before! I just hate other peoples bed bugs.. I told management that, after I found some in a suite at the Westin Hotel in LV, NV, 2 years ago...They have comp'd me ever since...2,3 times a year.- 25 replies

Yes, on my other computer at home, I do have a few. I left most off my "Wall of Shame" behind, when I moved into the current house...come to think of it, I still have 2, 200qt. ice chests packed full of "Stuff" in the garage...they are so big, they have wheels built in so you can move them! -
After you get the info. Call Holland Motor Coach, they are on I-8E out of SD.

Journalist Responds To Gerber's RV Death Spiral Series
manholt replied to RodgerS's topic in Buying an RV
Mike. You picked one of the better entry level DP's. Your right about bells and whistles, that don't make a good coach or RV in general. Kind of like a crawfish boil, do they taste better on a dish or thrown on the long board table, covered in paper? If there is one thing I learned from my Kaplan, LA. friends...Quality first, glitz? What's that? Your 07' was the last good year prior to the big bank blow out in 08'...nothings been the same quality since! I'm currently on # 17 Class A coach in 48 years and I traded an 11' Allegro Bus in Nov. of 13' for the 10' I have now! Carl -
Have you checked your circuit breakers and "sales man Switch" you may have accidentally turned it off...it's generally by the door, touch pad or rocker switch. It will shut everything off as you described! Carl

Bill E. Where is your Turbo located? It will throw a lot more heat than exhaust. Just a thought...after coffee.

So, that would give me 464Ah per Invertor/charger?

Extended Warranty From Wholesalewarranty.net
manholt replied to kalynzoo's topic in Extended Service Policies
Who made the coach you have now? I would take it back to factory immediately, if that is not possible for you, then take it to the dealer you bought it from! I would not worry about extended warranty until after the coach is fixed! If you read all the warranty info that came with your coach, you will find out that different components have different length of under warranty!- 25 replies

I guess. I'm also guessing that the important part is how many minutes you have at 75A per battery, per 2800 PSW inverter/charger...that's what I'm asking!

Rich. Since I have 8 AGM's being installed today by NAPA, after they arrive. I want to make sure that they have the same Ah as the current acid batteries that I have now. My question after reading this post 3X already, and it seems to correlate with my Blinking light post. Where do you come up with 880 Ah (Amp Hrs.)? And 440Ah? I have 2 Magnum 2812 Inverter/charger at 928Ah each, or 232Ah per battery! All 8 are Interstate Extreme GC2-XHD-UT, 122 mins @ 75A, 232Ah. Would like some clarification !

Herman, I'm thinking about a little wine, "vest", dumb spell check missed it ! It was not me! -
Byron. Thanks but I have a delivery of 8 AGM's tomorrow and it will be installed, not by me...If I was shorter and 44 years young, like Joe, then I would do it My "six pack" ran away 25 years ago... All I have left is a six pack off beer and a bottle off wine!

You don't have to go thru AARP to get Hartford. Yes, almost any carrier would like you to "bundle". I don't. USAA still has my Jeep and 2 houses, I don't insure my MC anymore cause I have an umbrella for it, coach and everything else. Coach is Progressive, liability, no comprehensive, that's under umbrella. I've had Hartford and paid the same amount as my best friend does via AARP!
