  1. obiwan, your 2 years late on this post. Perhaps they are escaping Newsom!
  2. Thanks for the update and photos! Happy Thanksgiving!
  3. Have a great Thanksgiving! Happy 50th! That's not the type of pre-set I was thinking about.
  4. Everybody I know, have at least 2 or more set's! One in coach, one in Toad and we have a set in house. Lock out happens, even at house...last time Linda's 8 year old Grand kid.
  5. No! Per Magnum, too do that, you need a tech too walk you thru it. Not recommended..
  6. erniee, under toads or towable's in Archive! Unless they moved it.
  7. Dons2346, thanks...what material did you use? Great idea!
  8. Did you check the CB on the inverter? That is where you do a reset. Last time it happened to me was on the AC Tradition. I had 2 Inverters and one of them went nuts, I flipped the CB on left side of unit off (Magnum 2812) & 20 minutes later turned back on, no more problems!
  9. Bill, there is a big difference between a regular golf cart and a mini cricket...700+ lbs, one folds down and the other does not, the cricket will fit in back of a CVR. Eddie, that was our choice problem also...we wanted a cart to take with us, but we also enjoy going off the beaten path in the mountains, desert. We have 2 full size golf carts, one here at the ranch and one at the camp in South Texas....normally I tow a Jeep 2 door or a Expedition, I did not want to tow the 1992 beat up ranch truck...So, I bought a Cricket (goggle it) and a Jeep Gladiator about 3 weeks ago! Best of both worlds is what we figured. The cart will fit in my King Aire bay, Expedition or bed of Gladiator! I have found other Brands, Kangacruz and Quickie! The only reason we got Cricket, they have a proven track record and most parts and after market, we can get from any golf cart store!
  10. Not a basement slide...coach slide out, with sofa or love seat and or kitchen on it. My full wall slide by HWH is 27' 6" and rated for 2,700 LBS.
  11. Now that you have a full fuel tank, you can get a 100 gallon bladder from Northern tool, Harbor Freight or Tractor supply, they are not expensive in that size, then siphon out yours and drop tank! 😂
  12. Have you disconnected the negative cable from chassis battery while in storage? Do you have the 4 amp draw, when on generator or shore power? You may be looking at the wrong end of the horse! Herman, so much for a "dead" post.
  13. Electric? HWH? Lipper? Full wall slide? Load is very important in regards to how it's distributed in slide.
  14. Interesting point...I have found that on a Area and National level, all volunteers are members of a Chapter! I display my Goose Egg, but not my GS or Escapees. Most GS and the same with Escapees, are FMCA members, but don't display it. Ross, I also forgot about the L# ! Then you have members who are both F# and C# ! Members who have L# and a different F# and F#, L# with the same # ! Confused yet?
  15. Lance has one for $64,000...makes sense to me, if you like to boon dock in the mountains, Baja Ca. and your short. Put one on a 4 x 4 truck...lot cheaper than a Earth roamer & can go places a ER can't.
  16. Bill, if you have a PU, then it works! A cricket will fold down and fit in most SUV's, Jeeps and even in coach bay.
  17. Richard, today, from what I have learned..20% (I believe it's more, because total membership is different from active membership)! You can count the same F# 4 times (F# with S, D, GS, GD at end of #), I have seen GGS on one, this summer in CO. on a 5'er!
  18. A gas cart comes in at 647 lbs curb weight, so it's doable...electric cart around 1,00 lbs curb weight, would not recommend it. You could opt for a cricket golf cart and carry it in your toad...we got one on order and will carry it in bed of a Jeep Gladiator, weight 305 lbs.
  19. Yes they do! Only exception is Wrangler and Grand Cherokee. By the way, you can get the GC with a 705 HP engine! Duh, I really need that on the trail to Grandmas for Christmas!
  20. Since I got married to Linda, our rate has gone way down with State Farm...she has 8 rent houses, commercial liquor store with 3 acres, the house on 3 acres in Three Rivers and the ranch with them! When my stuff joined in, I told the agent that I'm not opposed to shopping for a better rate for same coverage!
  21. johncristiano. Welcome to the Forum! On New coaches and high end used coaches, I have had Progressive, Allstate, USAA (they don't do coach or mc's anymore), they send you to Progressive! I have State Farm and it runs $487 a month for coach, SUV, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Gladiator, Chevy 2500 truck and a HD Classic Cruiser! I had a 45' AC Tradition, insured thru Progressive!
