  1. George. Happy Easter! I had a gasser for 20+ years (most DP's where bus conversions), then I had a MCI by Barth (they went out of business in 1987). Back to gassers for 15 years, and now that every manufacturer out there have a diesel, I have owned them for the last 10 years! My "Truth be told", I don't have a DP because of fuel economy, cheap maintenance, cheap annual service, you can climb a hill as fast or faster than I can! I got a DP mainly due to the ride! The ride is not all because of air bags and shocks, but also weight, size of tires and tag axel....6 tire DP is night and day over gasser and no air bags, but 8 tires is "the cats meow"! Georgetown, has had enough years now on the market and thru trial and error, they have become a good coach ! So, don't forget, FMCA, it don't matter what you drive, just that you can get from cab to living quarters without going outside, have a self contained bathroom and kitchen! That makes you a Motor Coach owner, and welcomed any where, anytime! Carl
  2. Joe. Happy Easter. That's about as lengthy a mail that you have ever sent ! Got to agree, but we need not swell Brett's head anymore than it already is! Carl
  3. I think you will still have a flow problem and your culprit is the in line regulator. Your RV is a 2016 and to soon to have a filter problem. Disconnect one at a time and see where the flow problem is...I would use a outdoor faucet at house and attach an adjustable flow meter that you can set at 50 psi. attach water hose directly to faucet and check flow inside coach. I get a water psi reading inside as I do outside...+/- 5 pounds, you got good flow. Now, your whole coach filter will naturally restrict flow, 5 to 10 pounds, depending upon what kind off filter. On older coaches, replace the screen filter in each of the inside faucets, shower and water hose inlet to coach or at least inspect all of them every other year (don't forget to do that inside house also)! Carl
  4. I watched both of the above. Conclusion for me, if your a named product that cost money, you get tested in depth and if your an ice cube, your a joke! So, to me the Jury is still out. Herman. Happy Easter! MB was a very sick puppy! Carl
  5. Kay. Good morning and happy Easter! Do like Wayne, get an 80 pound Husky! Carl
  6. Sumo, is Manufactured and Distributed by Super Springs International. Made in the USA.
  7. On the Allegro Bus it swivels 360, I miss that, on this coach, the same as FIVE ! I would go with Brett's idea first and if that don't work. then work on another option. Carl
  8. It definitely would be nice, to hear that you bought something ! Alas...I don't believe that you ever will. Sarcasm is your forte, It must be tough on your ego to be a little fish, in a big pool ! Never mind, I will not answer any more! Carl
  9. Also, if you enter what you and your husband are traveling in and towing, like Bill or I have under our name, we can assist you further in the event of a mechanical breakdown or any other problems! That is our main reason for being on the Forum. Carl
  10. Wayne. Look further back on this post. Herman beat you on that thought in 2012 ! Carl
  11. All of you, I will try to explain my reason for using countertop rather than floor to obtain level. The floor is on the chassis first and then the sides and furniture including cabinets are installed. I don't think the builders are always as exact, on the zero bubble, as they should be. Therefor the floor could be level and the rest of coach...not ! I prefer to have my furniture level, if the floor is a quarter of a bubble off, that does not bother me! Now, in a perfect world.... Carl
  12. F448850, What make of coach do you have and do you tow a toad? Carl
  13. Herman, did any of the "jumpers" chock on their leash? I too have a vivid imagination and can just picture the dog jumping into cart, get treat and ZING, right back out!
  14. Ernie. All of the Bluebird MH line is out of business, but like Country Coach or Beaver, there are most likely parts in stock somewhere, at BB manufacturing plant, since their still building Commercial vehicles! Carl
  15. Thank you, Herman, I needed a good laugh this am! It happened in another coach, when I used the floor for calibration...but, you knew that !
  16. Joe, try low 30's with a wind! Remember where we live, I'm sub tropical. Carl
  17. Joe, totally submerge head in CLR for about 10 minutes....I use it at house. I got a round quart Glad container, hole on each side and string, it hangs. In coach I use a Zip lock bag. After 10 min, remove container and turn on water, if not completely un clogged repeat. You can also use Vinegar or HP 3%. Carl
  18. Wallee. I'm surprised that you took most of our "joking around", seriously ! I know a lot of Canadians, and thin skin is not part of their persona. As Herman said, we know and respect the laws of Canada, but this whole tread got started by some one who apparently didn't ! You need to lighten up some, if you know anything about folks from Texas, "scared" is not part of our vocabulary ! Speaking about LAWS, why would anyone want to take an apple into the US? Thank you for sending your Gees down once a year, they make a great stew ! Carl
  19. Agree with Bill. Have your VIN # and FIN # available. Carl
  20. In regards to "normal" pets, like a dog or cat, I always carry the annual record of shots, in the event of boarding or going to Canada. FMCA to my knowledge, has always welcomed our pets as long as we pick up after them. I'm currently looking for a new dog, mine passed last year! If your "pet" is some type of exotic animal, then it would be controlled by local ordinance.
  21. Ray. I'm glad your still posting on other subjects on this Forum! Keep it up, your input is appreciated. Carl
  22. Oneway. Hope your high and dry, somewhere. This Storm system is producing wind gusts in excess of 60+ mph...careful ! Have a good trip home. Carl
  23. When I level mine with air or jacks, I place my level on counter top, not floor...I have used floor before and had butter in a fry pan go towards front of coach. Carl
  24. Glad you liked it. Come back and visit Texas again soon! You only saw 2%... Carl
  25. FIVE. Agree! Only excuse I have, I was frozen, it was bloody cold morning and I had old brain meltdown! Carl
