  1. WOW! That's weird, do you still have a sliding step cover? Off subject...what do you use for oil bearings?
  2. In Texas, TABC (Texas Alcohol Tabaco) and Texas Rangers have that permission. Used to be that Texas Game Warden had to get a State Trooper to make an arrest or do a search/seizure, not anymore, now they are part of the Dept. of Public Safety (State Police)!
  3. Your so right. For the past 2 years, that zipped by, we have talked about remodeling this 1982 house. Linda's son & wife are needy and they are trilled about all new stuff, that he will inherit, we however have decided to be unconventional. Everything that's in here will come out.New flooring, wood no tile. The living room will be the playroom ( shuffleboard, pool table, dart game and virtual golf). The biggest of the spare bedrooms, will be a gym and by getting rid off a non bearing wall, we'll put in a Sauna! Linda's office will also be expanded to accommodate my office. Master bedroom/bath will be redone also! We're half finished with kitchen & dinning room. 3,700 sq. feet under roof. It will be easy to keep clean & something to enjoy while we can. Whoever gets this place after us, can do their own thing! 😁
  4. Our King Aire came that way. I'm not trilled with it, both of us keep forgetting it's there and what's in it...I call it, "The time capsule!" 😂
  5. Chapters, was a way to meet like minded Coach owners! They all specialized in a topic, golfing, fishing, geo catching, Nascar, etc. I remember, not long ago, we had over 400 chapters and they came to the National Rally & Winter INTO Rally! I do agree that today, there is less interest in joining a Chapter. Probably has to do with more full timers and they tend to associate and travel with their own group of friends....most are members of Escapees, FMCA and GS. These days it's more for Discounts, that each club offers! I might add that more and more Coach owners are joining AIM (All inclusive Motorhome). They are all about fun and good times, seminars on engines, chassis, transmissions and suspension systems, great food and entertainment.
  6. Metfan112. Only time and experience will determine what is best for you! I suspect you'll end up with a Jeep..
  7. Richard, time to cut the can open and get all the scrapings you can, send it in for analysis. Kano KRoil, machine oil, Casteroil 880.

Thank you for the update. I do hope you can attend Buckhorn! If not, we understand...hang in there. 🙏
  9. This year, I would think so...I have tried to shop locally as much as possible! Glad you got it done.
  10. wtbuck12, your about 18 miles from us...if your going to the New Iberia, Fete fair? We are in space 23 until next Sunday! Sorry Herman, off subject.
  11. Ross, agree but if you go back some pages on this Post, you will note that we have tried that approach and our illustrious CEO have answered instead, with several paragraphs off PC and Blah, blah, with no substance at all...stroke the children, cause we know not. 🤬 WBill tried and was met with a lot of condescending attitude & no answer!
  12. Your system is used by Volvo!
  13. Sewing machine oil or Shredder lube oil? shutterstat oil, PAG 100 by Kysor-Kysor. 219785 is the part number, located in Cadillac, MI.
  14. I had a 1987 Bart, with a 454 full injection system. Biggest problem was lugging, back fire and fuel filters, I carried several in the bay! POS since the coach was custom ordered and built.
  15. We don't have enough "out side the box" thinking! Richard. Sad, but unless someone in EB have come up with this idea...it's not going anywhere! I can only think of 2 (one comes on Forum periodically), that would like your idea, but I don't think they can do much until after National Convention next Summer!
  16. Welcome to the Forum! I agree with all of the above. Richard brought up a good point. Between the time the coach left the factory, got to dealer and the 4 months you have been on the road, any electric connection that was not properly torqued, will be loss. Unlike a house, we are a rolling earthquake and we operate on 3 different electrical systems! If your not comfortable working with AC and DC, take it to your Dealer, Factory or NIRVC in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Dallas or Atlanta, the Nashville Shop won't be open until Spring. You can also go to Spartan! Having a new coach warranty, use it.
  17. About right, best I could figure $420+! Paid off a $19,000+ balance...now we use one Visa, one Master Card & one AE.
  18. It was probably sent to the dealer! Herman, we had 16 spaces and it's been filled last we heard.
  19. Since March, we have over 10k on coach and leaving for New Iberia, La. in the morning, a week of Cajun food + the Fete (BBQ'd and grilled whole pork festival)! We'll be back the 18th, then if the parts are in, we will go to NIRV in Lewisville (By Dallas). How Coach will travel. We will be in Florida for the Tampa RV Super Show in Jan 2021. Rayn, La. for Mardi grass with Crusin Cajuns in Feb. Same with AIM in March. Crusin Cajuns Crawfish Rally in April. NIRV Rally in OK City in May. Late May to July 8 in Cortez, CO. Then on to Alaska! We don't care if we have COVID-19 or 20...One life, live it.
  20. Linda, my DW renewed 3 years at $79.95...she has always done platinum. She has a Good Sam Visa Card and used some of her 420,000+ points. I paid the card off last month and it will no longer be used (in very, very small print...no cash back, must be used for GS products only)!
  21. We have well water for house, therefor the need for WS. We got the WS for coach, so we could fill up our fresh water tank in the garage or outside faucet. Currently building a new garage for current coach, it's 60' x 30' x 18' high inside, all metal. I'll use the other one for guest. The height was to low for this one and only 40' deep! Joe would fit nicely, so would Herman.
