The latch that is stuck, does it have a key lock on it? If so, take a thin metal shim and work it in between frame and latch. As for your kitchen drawer, you probably need to replace the latch. Go to any hardware store or Wall Mart and get a new one. 14 years of use and the rock and roll will take its toll ! Carl

Ouch! They saw you coming....Texas=Cattle, big land owners, oil/gas I Carl

Bill. Yes, I did get an estimate. However none off us knew that the front windshield was about to fall out, due to a replacement and bad workmanship. I had no idea that the previous owner had it replaced. We found out when the wind deflector wings was removed. TCC still stuck to the original under $1,500...BLEW MY MIND! That was an extra 2.5 hours and supplies! They will be replacing my Dish Dish with a DirecTV Dish! Also, replacing all my awnings with Zip Dee's! That will be done, prior to the FMCA Reunion in Mass! It shall be interesting to see what that bill will be...Remodeling this coach, inside and out, still beats the price of a new coach! Carl

Herman, I agree on the Aqua hot and whether I'm on it or heat pumps in cold (too me) weather, I also want my food to stay cool and or frozen. I also hate melting ice cubes! The same applies when it's summer and hot (90+/=) , humid conditions! In West Texas, I'll run the dash air since I don't have "swamp coolers"! Hope we answered your question Bill. Carl

Bill. What "gas" furnace? I'm all electric, with Aqua Hot and it's diesel....gen gives me heat pump and refrigerator that stays cold! Carl

Seeking Beartooth Highway Travel Tips
manholt replied to washtech's question in Destinations/Attractions
Well ":Jake". Do you have a DW? If you do, you might want to run this by her and if it's OK, then what the heck! You don't want to find out at the bottom of the run that it's not! If you don't have a DW, then notify your next of kin! A 45' DP & hairpin curves is never a good idea! Carl -
FIVE. You bored? Never would have thought it... I'm waiting for the laundry to get done! Your right, some very misleading comments! Last year I was looking at a Driver (golf), but could not justify the price at Golfsmith or the PGA Store. A friend found and bought it at Ft Hood. I was no where near a base! When I'm camping for more than a couple days and within 40+/- miles of a base, I'll drive in and look around.... As for politicians, the poor folks don't get paid much and don't think their getting their fair share! So they want to close down anything that they can't get a kick back from! Carl

Best State to Establish Residency
manholt replied to rkburdick's topic in Laws and Legislative Action
DBianchini. Welcome to the Forum! No! Have never heard of one! I suppose you could start your own by reading all the posts on this subject in the Forum. Then posting it. To be legal, you would have to move out off CA. The only State's I know off, is Oregon and Montana, they meet most of your needs. Problem is that all State's have different taxes, registration fees, license regulations, cost of insurance, etc. All have property (house) tax. Then there is County and City School tax. No State, that I know off, has a luxury tax, or care about how many vehicles you have! CA. might be an exception!? Good luck.. Carl -
Started generator yesterday, 82 degrees, no smoke and ran as usual...feel better! Thank you all Carl

Richard. Look in the back of a cabinet, closes to an appliance. I have seen them under the sink and in cabinet between microwave/refrigerator! For bathroom, I have had one inside the medicine cabinet! Think outside of the box... Carl

Herman. I brought it up for any female engineers benefit, that might be out there! I have been taking a half cup of Jello everyday for 2 months now and my nails don't crack anymore and my joints work better! Now, as long as I don't end up with Bill Cosby trouble... Carl

I have the XZE on mine, 315 front and 295 for drive and tag axle. I think it's a nicer drive. As for distance, my coach is not a long haul 18 wheeler and regardless of mileage, they will all be replaced in 6 to 7 years! My continual health and life depends on the condition of the rubber I ride on! So your choice! Carl

Joe. I had that same switch by the door on my Allegro Bus and had it moved to a cabinet above the co-pilot seat as I did not have one in bay! Love Engineers....not ! Carl

What ever works for you, is the bottom line! Good luck & happy trails... Carl -
HOA's vary depending on what part of the country your in, what part of the State. Some are good for all, some for the few and some plain BAD! Carl
-
Joe. I'm happy. your happy! Wonder if clear finger nail polish would do it? Carl
-
Gerard, If you run a wire from coach, install a on/off switch. Turn "on" when towing and coach is on, then off after or if ignition is off on coach. If your a golfer, Google Swinging Golfers, "SWG" and join us! Herman, I can "troll" too! Good Luck Carl

Judge. Welcome from the Blog to Forum! Please enter your coach information in your profile, so it shows up at bottom, See mine on this reply. That way we can help you better. Safe travel. Carl

kl. Same here. But, I think you still have a issue with your AC unit. Good Luck Carl

It's been 10 years or so since I checked with Remco, they may have found a solution since! Carl -
After re reading all of kl's answers, I'm inclined to think that a 7.5kw gen is not big enough to run the AC's and everything else. My 37' had 2 AC 1500's and residential fridge along with micro/convection...8kw gen! My current coach has 3 AC 1500's and all electric, with a 10kw! Carl
-
kl. Do you have 2 AC 15,000? Or another size configuration? Heat pump should only come on when your on electric heat, not AC! Do you have the choice to put the AC's on line one at a time? Also, when you start generator let it warm up for 2-3 minutes with "no load on it", same with shut down, turn everything off and let gen cool down for 2-3 minutes or more! Carl
-
Rich 1. Fuel restriction 2. One, two or three AC units on at same time? Or....that was asked by you, Rich. So far, we guess! Carl

It held my front windshield wing to window for 7 months and 8372 miles, until I got it fixed at TCC last Monday. Carl

Brett. True! I should have specified! Carl
