The usual cause of burnt wires is a loose connections. All the different brands will have the same results with loose wires. All the terminals should be checked annually.

I think I would just replace the tv's. Walmart had a 32 in for $125 I saw yesterday.

If it has spec TES 295 its OK.

I have used on board air to power my 3/4 inch impact wrench to change a spare which I carry. I have been doing this for the last 17 years on my current coach and am currently changing to a new to me coach that is in the paint shop as we speak. I use the leveling jacks to lift the coach to change tires and do carry the proper tools to change a tire on the wheel.

Legacy make air hoses that remain very flexible in freezing weather.

I have Tire Minder blue tooth and I leave it on all the time. If I leave the coach or toad my phone will disconnect the blue tooth. I always have the current status.

I will be at the Chandler FMCA convention in March so if you are coming out I would be happy to show you.

Check with Air Dog to see if they have a transfer pump that will work. I got a complete transfer pump and dual filter assembly for my Cummins ISB 275 for $550 and they had the pump only for $250.

Some bring the slide in when its windy whether they are there or not.

I have used the engine air compressor for airing tires and not had a problem. If you are just adjusting the pressure you are only going a few pounds. I have powered my 3/4 inch air wrench and changed a tire on the wheel and aired up a 22.5 tire with mine, on the side of the road. The compressor doesn't take long to build up pressure. Its also nice clean dry air.

Exterior Maintenance - Cleaning and Waxing Fiberglass

I had good results using 303 on vinyl graphics. Mine lasted 20 years until I finally had a full body paint job. -
Back in the 70's when towing VW bugs was popular, they had the same problem with the steering. The fix was to attach a bungee cord to the steering wheel. I never personally had one as I towed Toyota wagons and never had any steering problems.

Thanks, I use Tire Minder, I am currently using the blue tooth model with my smartphone as the monitor.

Are the batteries replaceable?

Thats exactly how we do it in our shop.

East Penn has replaced Johnson Controls as the supplier for all Sams Clubs as of a couple of months ago. Before that it was split, East Penn in the east and Johnson Controls in the West. There are no Sams Clubs in Oregon.
-
Now that East Penn batteries are in all Sams Clubs across the country, not just in the east, they are a good choice. More of their batteries are made in the US. Some Sams Clubs have the AGM golf cart battery for $179.97.

Exactly where did you locate the egt thermocouple. That makes a difference in the temp reading. The last one I did it was about 2 inches after the turbo and the hottest I have seen it is about 1050. I just completed an AirDog lift pump install on my new to me 98 Fleetwood Discovery. As the lift pump had failed and the previous owner still drove it, I had to change the VP44 pump also. Drove 1900 miles last week and it ran good.
-
I would swap the rear solenoids and see if the problem stays or moves to the other side. If it stays it could be a kink in the tubing restricting the flow.

With the Tire Minder that reads on your smart phone you just tap on the screen to read toad only and thats all you see. The phone should always be with you.

I don't know. Its only a 36 ft so I should have plenty of capacity. I am going to weigh it the first chance I get. It drives great. I just did my maiden trip of 1900 miles to Indiana to the paint shop and left it there until the 2nd week in Jan.- 10 replies

lift pump failure Cummins 98'-02' Fuel Lift Pump Warning
desertdeals69 replied to rlbarkleyii's topic in Type A motorhomes
Its not only the rv industry but the main reason that FASS and Air Dog were developed was the need for help on Dodge pickups with Cummins engines and they only have a few feet to pull fuel.- 10 replies

I moved the center mounted propane tank back one section and moved a cross member ahead 6 inches and it fit perfect. I will be at the Chandler FMCA in March if you want to see the installation.- 10 replies

lift pump failure Cummins 98'-02' Fuel Lift Pump Warning
desertdeals69 replied to rlbarkleyii's topic in Type A motorhomes
I just installed a second 90 gallon fuel tank and a Air Dog lift pump with a 1/2 inch fuel line. It is capable of pumping 150 gph and supplies 15 psi to the injector pump. I also changed the VP44 injector pump as the new to me 98 Discovery had been run without the lift pump functioning. I drove it 1900 miles last week and it ran good.- 10 replies

I prefer not to drive in rain, and yes it did not rain all the way. They still worked fine, for how long who knows.
