  1. Another thought, was the truck and trailer with the dozer properly flagged and had a over size permit and did he have an escort? Herman
  2. Roland, Where were you when the incident occurred? Can you determine who was at fault? I'm asking because you keep mentioning your insurance policy. If it was the other guys fault then they should pay for everything including a place for you to stay. In the meantime start checking your coach manufacturer and salvage yards to see if you can find replacements. Any where you take it you are talking months in the shop. Finding the parts ahead of time may shorten the repair time. Good luck and keep us up to date. Herman
  3. My inverter hasn't been off since I have owned our coach except when I change the batteries. (12 years) Herman
  4. Thanks Ray but you are miles over my head. 🤔 Herman
  5. I know, have tried everything I can but it won't return to normal. I will visit with Jayson and see if he can correct it while in Tucson. Herman
  6. POP, Depending on you slide topper, you can alway tighten the spring on you awning. Or change out the Fabric. Herman
  7. This is a combination of two Navy Expressions. "Fair Winds" = May you alway have good winds as you sail. "Following Seas" = May the winds always be st you back. They together are used when Christening a New Ship. I have used it for year to express "Safe and easy travels". As you can see in mysignature. Herman
  8. Sound to me like you need your slide seals and wiper checked out. Herman
  9. Glad you got your issue solved. Jason G. is very good a savvy tech and will help you in any way he can. Herman
  10. Here is the list of Acronyms submitted so far. Acronyms.XLS Herman
  11. I sent him a PM and asked. Herman
  12. I am going to close this topic. It may be started again next year. Thanks for all the great wishes. Herman
  13. Even if the gen. won' start with the chassis batteries out you can always jump off the house batteries to start the gen. If the gen stops when you disconnect from the house just hook back up while the gen is running. Herman
  14. garyd, also Welcome. If you have a Credit Card what is the billing address? Have you spoken to the CC company? It seems like they would accept your mailing address zip or postal number. Herman
  15. John, Welcome to the Forum. A few questions. Is yours a satellite dish or an in-motion dome. If it is a dome you will have to remove the cover and change the dip switches from Direct to Dis Network. However if you have a satellite dish you have some changes. Winegard has a kit to change their Traveler Satellite from Direct to Dish and visa versa and they are great to work with. Let us know what brand of dome or dish you have. Herman
  16. Have you ever wondered what the Acronym that the folks here means? Let me start and you can add as we go along DW= Designated Wife. Delightful Wife. LOL= Lots of laughs. Lots of Love. Laughing out loud. IMHO= In my humble opinion. PIA= Pain in the a**.. POS= Piece of s***. I tried to clean up some of the words. Add yours but keep it clean. Herman
  17. TW, Welcome to the Forum. If your coach is a diesel I would go with an M&G Engineering system. Proportional and all you do is plug in, connect the brake away and go. IMHO (in my humble opinion) the best there is. For best results to an issue, put your coach information and tow vehicle information in you signature. Then folks will know more and be able to help right away. And again Welcome. Herman
  18. Carl, if you enlarge the picture you can see some dust on one of the relays. Of course is may be a shadow. Herman
  19. As for Whitewright that would only be 45 degrees. It's only 31 now and going down. Do you know how to say BURRRR. Yes I know up North that would be a mild day but here that's darn cold. Herman
  20. (What happened to the factory set up on your coach, not working?) Sorry Joe I don't have such a setup. But yours look great. Herman
  21. Mine cost $14.95 + tax at Wally World and has worked fine for about 4 year now. Comes on when I plug in or start the generator and off when unplugged and gen. Herman
  22. Carl I have to say that when I went out the window it was around 2008, 11 years ago and 11 years younger. I was only 71 and still full Pi** and vinegar, now 11 years later it is only Pi** and No vineger. Herman
  23. Also Welcome. If the part is truly obsolete and no longer available there are two I would try. Visone RV at usedrvparts.visonerv.com or Colaws RV Salvage at colawrvsalvage.com Herman
  24. And to you and Linda. Hope to see you in February. Herman
  25. Tomakazie, Welcome to the Forum. First Tom I removed your email address for your security. Folks can PM (personal message) here. I think if you check with Winnebago you can find out where they stubbed out the cables for future installations. Most all have them it in the front of the roof. On my Monaco there was already a in-motions on my roof so when I installed mt Traveler 1000, I just pulled the cables through the the same opening. I was very fortunate that mine worked the frist time i used it and hasn't stopped (knock on wood)yet. Your Traveler will have three cables, one for power and 2 coaxes. Their instructions are very good. Herman
