  1. twopeas Welcome to the Forum. The route I might take to avoid mountains would go like this. I-75 North to I-10 West I-10 West to Lafayette, Louisiana and pick up I-49 North I-49 North to Shreveport, Louisiana and pickup I-20 East I-20 East to Lindale, Texas and pick up US 69 North US 69 North to Bells Texas and pick up US 82 West US 82 West to Gainesville, Texas and pick up I-35 North. I-35 North to Wichita, Kansas (I-35 in Kansas is a Toll Road for 45 Miles) to Exit 45 where you pick up I-135 North I-135 North to just past Salina, Kansas where I-135 turns into US 81 North US 81 North to York Nebraska and pick up I-80 West. I-80 West all the way past Cheyenne, Wyoming to Rock Springs, Wyoming to US 191 North US 191 North to Jackson, Wyoming. From Jackson continue on US 191 to the South Entrance to Yellowstone National Park This seems like a long way but the only area where you will run into any mountains is between Cheyenne and Rock Spring. However they are not steep but gradual climbs and you don't go through any large cities with the exception of Oklahoma City but it is all Interstate and not bad traffic. Along the way you will see lots of beautiful country, bayous, timber and wide open spaces. There will be New Orleans, Shreveport and the Municipal Auditorium where Elvis performed. There is the Winstar Casino, just as you get into Oklahoma and the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City. The Aircraft plant in Wichita Kansas. Cheyenne where they hold Cheyenne Frontier Days and Jackson (Jackson Hole), Wyoming and the Antler arches on the square. Let us know if you need and more help. Herman
  2. Good thought Ray. Disconnecting a Battery helps many time on many items especially in cell phones. Herman
  3. Ken, Welcome to the Forum. Contact Dan Ball at FMCA 513-474-3622. Dan is the Director of Membership & Marketing, and he can explain what you can do. He may be out until Monday For security I have removed you email from you post. Good luck,Herman
  4. Bobbie and I would like to wish each of you and all our Troops and First Responder everywhere a Happy Thanksgiving ! If your are on the road drive safe. Herman & Bobbie
  5. That ok. If I were going to use a tarp or made for an RV cover I would place a couple of large size beach balls under the cover/tarp to allow as much air circulation as possible. That may keep down the possibility of mildew. Just a thought. Herman
  6. Ok, now lets get back to the OP "RV Cover" Thanks Herman
  7. Check with Adventure Travel they may have trip insurance. Herman
  8. Rob, if you will google Flexvision you will find many places that have parts the Flexvision system. Herman
  9. Rolex, We have also found that the Emergency ERs are quite helpful when on the road. Just be sure and ask if the take Medicare before treatment. It can get quite costly if they don't. Plus they are much quicker than a hospital ER. Herman
  10. sweenrv, Welcome to the Forum. By the way you asked the question it appear you do some of your own work. If so remove the hose take it to a hydraulic shop and have them make one for you. You will find that they can make the hose while you wait and for a lot less them a shop would charge for a factory hose and a much shorter wait time. Herman
  11. Rolex, Welcome to the Forum. Another thing you can find at WalMart are parts and supplies for you RV. If you have a name and or part number they have item most available in stock or pickup. I have found many items there and very likely at a good price. Some items may have to be shipped directly to you but many times prepaid. Give them a try sometime. Herman
  12. Just an off the wall thought. If your back up camera has an outside microphone it may be turned up and your can hear everything from the back. I say this with tongue and cheek. My hearing is marginal but in driving a 40 foot diesel motorhome there is no way I can hear or feel the slight rattle of my hitch coming from the rear of my coach. All I can hear and feel is the roads as I am traveling on these well maintained () highways and byways of our great states. Of course I came from the era when Shake Rattle and Roll ment dancing to Bill Haley and the Comets , not driving through Shreveport Louisiana on I-20. Herman
  13. My 92 Dynasty doesn't have GFCI outlets in the coach. I has a 20 amp GFCI breaker in my AC power panel. It protect all my outlets except the Microwave which has it's own CB. It became weak and I replaced it about two years ago. No issues since. Herman
  14. Keith, Have you checked the fluid levels? Herman
  15. A good two sided tap is good you can put it any where. Front, back, sides, high or low. One nice thing about tape is if you don't like it you can move it easily. Just display it. Herman
  16. Any where there is a good shade tree. Herman
  17. If you take off the top of your air filter you can remove the filter and get the number off of it. Herman
  18. anna, Welcome to the Forum. I checked with M&G Engineering and they do not make a unit for the 2017 Ford C-Max. I would check with Invisabrake and see if they make a unit for your vehicle. Blue Ox makes 4 different setups for your vehicle with removable tabs where nothing shows when you are not towing. Herman
  19. 10-4 on that Rich. That is why when I am looking for what I think is a blown fuse I will check them all if the correct one is not obvious or labeled. You never know what the factory decided to put on with another circuit. Herman
  20. Great idea but you will have to remove the dryer to instal it. But still a great idea. Herman

  23. When all else fails look to RV Salvage Yards. They are all over the country. Herman
  24. Wayne, my friends Entegra Aqua Hot runs off his large mounted propane, 30 or 45 gallons size I believe. What he has been told is that he doesn't have to do the yearly maintenance required on the diesel units. His coach is all electric except for the Aqua Hot. Carl, Wayne in Lone Star, hasn't said how the temp is at low temperatures so I can't attest to either. Herman
