  1. Rotating is not something I would do. Tires in different positions have different amount of tread wear. Tires that wear together stay together. Herman
  2. Give me a shout. I will be on a Golf Cart with SAFETY on the windshield, there are three of us and I am the Good Looking one with Gray hair. Herman
  3. Agree, my 400 ISL runs at a constant 180. Up a grade maybe 190 and down 178. When in the mountains and going up steep grades I will down shift one gear to keep the fan on high. By the way, I now have a new water pump and am full of ELC coolant. Well road test it in a couple of weeks. Going to Shreveport to volunteer at the Fair. Herman
  4. Until you have your coach weighed I would use the setting listed on you documentation sheet on the wall next to the driver seat. Good Luck, we will also be in Tucson in March. Mapping out the trip as we speak. Same answer as Brett, his typing is faster then mine. Herman
  5. Richard, Thank you for your service. USN 1956 to 1964. Last duty on the USS Wasp CVA-18. Herman Sorry about that Wayne.
  6. Jim, First Welcome to the Forum. Where were you when you were stranded for two days? Were you in a bad Location, on the side of the road, in a camp site, where? Do you have a odd sire size that was hard to find? Were you incontact with FMCA Roadside Assistance at any time during those two days? It appear that there may be more to the story then you are telling us. If I have to wait more than an hour for a response, I an back in touch with my service, find out why, then get my own tire service. I would then send the bill to them for reimbursement. May we hear more? Herman
  7. Nothing, It appears that mypopslou has either solved his problem and failed to let us know, or he is just confused with all he has heard. If mypopslou had not mentioned that his tire were Michelins I would have thought that his tires were GoodRich G670s which have a propensity to wear on the outside in the steer position. If we don't hear from the OP in a week or so then we should just close the Thread and move on. Herman
  8. I have a hard time thinking of some folks spending $6.50 for a cup of Starbucks Moca latte times 5 cups a week ($32,50) times 52 weeks ($1,690.00) and not saying a thing about Starbucks going up to $6.95 a cup. Let's see$6.95 X 5 = $37.75 X 52 = $1,807.00 a year. That's $117.00 a year more and not one peep out of them. Herman
  9. Robert Welcome to the Forum. First your monitor is held in place from the inside. There are two knobs that secures is in place on a pair of mounting brackets . Prying will only get you a broken frame. If your monitor have a Screen and a View button on the front panel try pushing the view button. It may have accidentally been hit and turned of the screen. Try it, it can't hurt. Herman
  10. Stephen, Welcome to the Forum. Is there any difference on your A/C knob between A/C and Max A/C? Mine will close off the outside air and go to recirculate when set on Max A/C. Herman
  11. Sorry I did mean diesel, but my question is still the same, do any accept credit card to be used. Herman
  12. Somewhere in a post it was mentioned that the Military Fam Camps were to be opened to all Vets. on January 1, 2020. Does anyone remember the post and if so can they say where they heard this information. I have looked high and low but can not find any mention of this happening. Herman
  13. Is there a Gas Discount card that let you assign a credit card to be used rather than prepay or bank account number? Herman
  14. Mike, If it hasn't been said before, Welcome to the Forum. Good catch, it could have been much worse. Glad you were able to get a replacement and that you are back on the road. Herman
  15. Ross and Bill, I understand. Russ was asking for a recommendation for a weather station and I have no clue. However to Ross' comment, I remember when we started RVing. I went wild at Camping World. I found so many thing I knew I had to have in the RV. Later when I needed to clean out the RV for some repairs, I could not imagine the thing I took out and left out. I believe my mileage increased a point or two. So if you think you need it, buy it, you can always give it away as a door prize at one of your rallies. Herman
  16. Pops, looks to me to be a slight Camber Issue. If you have Independent Front Suspension (IFS) it can be easily remedied with alignment how with a solid front axle then that's an whole other issue. To correct Camber on a Solid Axle you need the equipment to be able to bend the axle. very few of any shops have that ability. On thing you may try would be to rotate the front two steering tires. How ever I do not know if Michelin tire are rotation specific. With 22,000 miles on the tires, may I ask, how old are the tires? Herman
  17. I agree with Carl. Engines and Transmission should be left as set by the Factory to do specific job and a specific way. If you desire more HP/Torque look for a coach with what you desire. (I dream of a coach with more slides, more baths, longer, bigger engine, less mirrors and wide entry. Problem is my check book will alway wake me from my dreams, Oh well). Herman
  18. Good thought Pops but in Tims posting he stated "I turned on the lights but nothing happened in any of the compartments." So I will go along with his thought that he has a fuse blown or an electrical short somewhere. Herman
  19. If you want to see how much fun we have in South Central Area Rally, just go to our website sca-fmca.com and click on the two videos from the front page. http://sca-fmca.com/ Herman
  20. I am sure this card is a good deal for some and not others. I for one will not pre-pay by placing monies in an account where someone else has access. As I said, good for some just not me. Herman
  21. Mister, Welcome to the Forum. For some reason all motorhome manufacturers love to hide Fuse Boxes. Ross has several good ideas. You might also look inside the coach in the closet or one of the overhead storage cabinets. Good luck. Herman
  22. Rob, Welcome to the Forum.I am assuming that you have a Norcold 1200 unit. Since the light is not on on the recall box try this. Take a strong Magnet and rub it all over the black box. That should reset the box. If it goes out again the thermocouple that was installed on one of the several recalls may be bad and needs a service tech to look at the unit. Many of us have had all the recalls and continued to have issues and have installed residential units. I myself now have a Samsung RF-18 in our Monaco Dynasty. Good luck and again Welcome Herman
  23. Great information but let's get back to the original topic BDing in NH. Herman
  24. Bill, Welcome to the Forum. Is your dolly a steerable one or a fixed wheel dolly? Doesn't your Edge have a lockable steering wheel? Sorry for the questions but just need a bit more information to make a good suggestion. Herman
  25. Frenchie, Google your spot light and you may find a video that shows how to remove the cover. Herman
