Carl, The OP sound as if a coach like Linda's would be just what he is looking for. PS: Welcome Home. Herman

I would start with the fuse . If I remember correctly there is a fuse for the stop lights in the panel , driver side in front of the front tire. Do the brake lights work on the Jeep when disconnected from the coach? Herman

Steering wandering 2000 Roadtrek 190 Popular 3500 Ram
hermanmullins replied to alibaba11's topic in Chassis
ali, Several things come to mind. Did it wander before you had the new tires put on? If no have the front tires rotated to the rear, and see if that change things I have seen new tires that are bad from the get go. Firestone 500 comes to mind. Was it aligned at the same time that you put on the new tires? There is a possibility that the Toe-in is not set properly. Out of spec Toe-in will cause extreme wandering. Herman -
Glad you got it fixed and thanks for the update. Herman

blue ox patriot 2 braking system
hermanmullins replied to wardjamesl's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
Jim, Welcome to the Forum. Who installed your unit? I would either talk to them or give a call to Blue OX. 402-382-3051 Herman -
There are a number of 2 speed 12 volt fans on the market that have a 2 speed switchs built in. Just Google 2 speed RV fans. Good luck and stay cool. Herman

Keigm How I maintain my coach batteries is with a small trickle charger. I have it plugged into my block heater outlet. The out let is live only when plugged into shore power or on generator. I have many grimlins that would draw my coach batteries down. Since mounting the trickle charger no problems. (Lots of folks have heard this before) Herman

Difficulty climbing stairs in RV--Solutions??
hermanmullins replied to mirogail's topic in General Discussion
Kay, I love the concept of the blocks. I have a friend whose wife is having issue with their steps. My only concern, and I know it can be worked out, the top step with a sliding step cover. Let's think about that but the concept is great. I am going to pass the pictures to him. Thanks, Herman -
Once the air is dumped on our coach, a fat nat would have trouble sliding under it. When I have to get under the coach I raise the coach as much as I can then put 20 ton jack stands under it and lower it till the frame is just touching the jack stands. Then I feel safe sliding under the coach.

lj, Do you have a cabinet right under the antenna? If so I found a coupler in a covered area in the cabinet. However I may missing something here, you said "I have tested the cable from the aerial to the roof all is fine." are you saying that you have checked the entire cable for the Antenna to the distribution box and all is fine? Eddy, As said, Welcome. Check your ride height adjusting rods. You will have three, two in the rear and one in the front. You may have one or more broken rubber mounts. Herman

Check the pedestals plug across L1 &L2 to see if you 220 volts. If not try combinations of L1and the ground then the neutral and see if you have 220 volts. The same with L2. If either way you get 220 volts you have a hot ground or neutral. Herman

Doc, Does your tow dolly have steerable wheels? If so you may lock your steering wheel and be sure the Parking brake is off and away you go. However if your dolly does not have steerable wheels you must leave the steering wheel of the Hyundai unlocked. Hope this helps, Herman

I know this is not your problem, but it sound just like the older GM cars and trucks where the exhaust pipe was too close to the starter and when after driving for a while the engine would not turn over till the starter cooled down. Sorry just a bit of nostalgia. Herman

hottuna, Welcome to the Forum. My suggestion would be to contact Blue OX, Roadmaster or Remco to see if they make base plates for your Lincoln. Blue Ox blue0x.com or 800-228-9289 Roadmaster roadmasterinc.com or 800-669-9690 Someone come to my rescue, I can't remember who purchased Remco. Anyway that is where I would start. Good luck, Herman

Richard, I'm wondering what a "Bier" is. Could it be a beer only sold in Arizona? Glad you are back in business olemarine. Herman

Easy for you to say.😁 Herman

Thanks, I got them there. I found that you take the measurement off the air bags located between the drive axle and the tag axle. I can't remember but I think in measurement was 8.25 inches. I would have to go back to my notes. Thanks, Herman

When you have an overheating issue try down shifting to increase your RPMs which should lower your temp. Herman -
Don, There should be a fuse panel on drivers side in front of the front tire. You should be able to find the fuse there. Herman

2006 Newmar Essex No tank level readings on Monitor

Good point Richard. I put Sea Level monitors that mount on the outside of the tank. They work great. Herman -

Looks like you got a good coach. You may need to first check to see who is the manufacturer of the guages and give them a call to their tech department. When you find who made the guages let us know, someone may have the same issue. Herman -
Lorne, Sorry, I haven't seen a post from you before so WELCOME to the Forum. Seventeen year ago when we purchased our first MH I would take one of my Dish Networks receiver from the house and use it in the MH and return it when we returned home. This worked until we got our current Coach. At present time we have a Dish Hopper Sling in the house with 2 Joies (3 TVs) We also have a Hopper Sling with 2 wireless Joies in the MH. I went wireless in the MH to cut down on the wiring. Both units work great and they are on one bill (account). I have never had Direct nor will I, but that's a personal issue. I have lots of friends with Direct and at this time haven't spoken of an issue like yours. With Dish and we have traveled out of our zone for our locals all I have to do is call Dish and they will switch us to the local of the area where we are. (I have to remember to have them move our local back home when we return home). What we have at home is a standard 3 LNB dish on the roof and in the MH we have a Winegard "Dish Traveler 1000". I hope you resolve your issue with Direct but if not "Come on over to Direct". Herman

Same thing happened to me and I can tell you everything from the engine back gets wet with oil from the blow by and man is there a lot of dirty and oily dirt under there. Good luck and keep on RVing. Herman

Why not a simple gutter extender to carry the water farther away from where the currently drip, place a pot of flowers where the water drips for beautification purposes. Ah, KISS. Herman
