  1. In my opinion they built a lot of tanks and then found out what you did, next to impossible to fill on the right side. So to keep from scrapping the tanks they just modified then by adding the filler neck in the correct position. Herman
  2. Blakley, sorry I was making a joke. If you have two dip sticks your tank may have two chambers for fluid. If that is the case you you need to be sure and check both. One could be low while the other is full. Herman
  3. FMCA has several commercial vendor that do great work. They all advertise in the Family Rving Magazine. Check them all out and see which is best for your area. And as Ray said the driver of the loader and his company is responsible for your loss. But it wouldn't hurt to have some idea of the replacement cost and a company to do the work. Herman
  4. If they read different your in trouble.😯 Herman
  5. Tim, this time of the year most roads have some sort of construction going on since they have good weather. I-40 is a good road through most of Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. 8. Glen, A simple solution would be to get the batteries fully charged then disconnect the cables. Herman
  9. Are you checking the fluid level with the jack up or down? If the jacks are down then your level will show low. If they are up then your low on fluid if it is as you describe. Good luck, Herman
  10. Jim, Welcome to the Forum. I am sure just putting your Transfer Case didn't have anything to do with the engine starting. Is your battery fully charged? To return the Transfer Case to drive - Set the Parking Brake, place the shift liver in neutral, press the brake pedal and turn the 4 X 4 knob to the left to "2". Doing all this your transfer case should be in 2 wheel drive. Herman
  11. Start with putting support under the coach then start with a spray bottle with water and a drop or two of dish soap and spray every inch of line and fittings to the leaking air bag. Lots of time it will be around connections. Good luck, Herman
  12. Carl, the one thing I found was the people did in fact speak English but it was in a profound Irish Brogue and really fast. Very hard to understand but nice people. I was stationed there off and on for three years in 1957-58-59. Herman
  13. Richard, What it looks like to me is who ever did the repair was using rosin core solder. The repair may hold but it doesn't look professional. The technician should have used Sil Foss. A lot of time Sil Foss is called Silver Solder. Sil Foss is a brazing alloy to be used when joining Copper to Copper without flux. However both parts should be cleaned. It come in several varieties 0%, 5%, 10% & 15% Silver. The different amounts of Silver depends on the gap or joint to be Brazed together. Herman

  21. The reason prices are some times lower than the FMCA program is buying power. We get the price that the average dealer charges less the FMCA discount. Some dealers purchase in such large volume that they have very strong discounts and dealer incentives. Hince they may be able to sell for less. I have seen it where a dealer says, I can beat that price while others say "can you by me some at that price because it is lower then I pay." So as someone said, "Always Shop Before You Buy". Herman
  22. Scott, Sound to like you have a Rubber Connection on your Height Valve in the front has broken. It is call the "Ride Height Adjuster". The adjuster has a rubber grommet on both ends connected by a 1/4" metal rod. It is to connect the coach chassis to the adjuster. As I said what you described sound to me like either one of the rubber grommets broke or you have a bad valve. Hopefully it is just a broken grommets (a visual look can see if it is broke) which can be bought at mast large truck repair shops. If it is the valve they also can be bought but you would need some numbers. As always when working under a coach be sure to block and support the coach. Its hard to dial 911 with 40 to 50 thousand pound resting on your chest. Herman
  23. Most of the time it is in a cabinet close to the main TV. Some look like this. Herman
