  1. hoskey, What it sound to me like you need to re set your inverter. Check and see if it has a reset button on the front or rear of the unit. Herman
  2. hoskey, Sounds to me like you have a bad check valve which is on the suction side of the pump. It isn't holding and after the pump reaches it's cut off pressure it slowly leaks down and will recycle as it gets to the low pressure. A simple repair to remove the valve and replace it. Happy travels. Herman
  3. Quailpen, Welcome to the Forum and to FMCA. In a small town speaking with a Police Officer is good advise. First they know if the town has a "No overnight parking ordinance". (Please don't be offended if they say there is one their town council made the law not them). And if there is no ordinance then they will know who does and who doesn't mind you parking on their property. In all most all small towns the Police Officers are great folks. So go and see this great country of ours and enjoy the small towns. But also remember when taking the Highways and byways of rural America watch for narrow shoulders on the roads and low underpasses. Know the height of your RV. Again great to have you onboard. Herman
  4. gkonechney, Welcome to the Forum. You did see that this is 7 year old posting. But don't worry we may be able to help. In most DP there is a fuse panel located in a bay in front of the front wheel on the drivers side. Good luck, Herman
  5. Ryan, Might I suggest that you contact Dan Ball at FMCA. See if he can clear it up for your and let us know what Dan says. Herman

    Tire Life

Denny, Glad to have you aboard the Forum, Welcome. You along with the Tireman bring a wealth of knowledge to the topic of tires. Please help any time especially on Highway Safety. Again, Welcome. Herman
  7. Yep, Carl, I looked it up and that is the price for one. I did notice Tom said "ordered A Regency..." just one. Wow! When you get your new coach are you going to request all 10 of you batteries be Regencys? Herman
  8. Batsome, They have both types. The box store generally have battery operated or 110 volt with battery backup. Both are very good for you bricks and sticks structure. However if you want one that is 12 volt with battery backup then an RV dealer might be your best bet. Good luck and be safe. Herman
  9. Richard, very good video. I learned something, Thanks. Herman
  10. Everybody I talked to really, I mean really liked the Platters, Coasters and the Drifters. Man did they bring back memories, good memories. Mike maybe we can meet up in Minot. Herman
  11. Recycle them? You can't, you must keep them forever. They are and environmental hazard. Oh wait I'm thinking of California, wait Bruce lives in AZ never mind. Herman
  12. Ah yes, California the land of the TOOs. Too little rain. Too much Rain. Too many fires. Too many earthquakes. Too much traffic. Too many wackos. Please feel free to add your own TOO's to the list. Could think of more but it's 6:15 am and just got my first cup of coffee. Herman
  13. gfbrower, Will the dish function at all? Or is it that it will not stow completely? Not function at all would indicate, as Al said, it may be a control issue. Not stowing completely would tend to be a binding issue. Answering these questions will help a lot. Herman
  14. When Renee Rash was there they had an area where they displayed Texas Items for sale. Haven't been there since she left and it was sold to the folk that also own Oak Creek RV Resort in Weatherford, Texas. Coffee Creek has always been a great place to hold a Rally. They have plenty of pull through sites and two meeting rooms with full kitchens. One large room with a front and rear porch and one smaller with a front porch. Herman
  15. Hope I don't freak anyone out, but yesterday after cleaning all my wheels I took a huge long drink straight from my green garden hose! In California you could be arrested for doing that. (To all Californians it's just a joke) Herman
  16. My one question would be why would a person be selling a one year old coach. Death, health or lemon? Just wondering. Herman
  17. My thought is "here's our chance to use that fiberglass we ordered wrong." Herman
  18. By the way Mike. Be sure and power wash the roof before you try any repairs. Any repair need a really clean surface to adhere to. Herman
  19. I wonder why they didn't place the large piece over the pieces they added to the edge and then Fiberglass the seam. Am I being just too simple? Herman
  20. Jim, I took my cabinet down removed the front from the cabinet set my skill saw for to the angle of the cabinet. I then cut both top and bottom. Then cut the sides on the table saw. It came out perfectly. I will send a picture soon. Herman
  21. Joe, I cut our cabinet back 7" and even Carl can enter without hitting his head. And to the devil made me do it. Herman
  22. Yes, Welcome to the Forum. Just a guess on my part, Sound to me that you are having problems with your "ABS" system. Herman
  23. Jeanne, Welcome to the Forum. Weber make several small grills, the "Q" and the "Baby Q". I have the small one, the Baby Q. It is ok but not very high BTUs. Everyone has their favorites but may I suggest you Google "portable gas grills". Pick out a few then ask who likes one over the other. Good hunting and again Welcome. Herman
  24. No, Natty Flats is just about 4 or 5 miles south of I-20 on Hwy 281. Home of the world larger Mesquite Rocking Chair. Not familiar with the one in Hico. But in Hico is a house, I believe is called Asher House or something similar to that, that make handmade chocolate candies that is to die for. Herman
  25. I was very fortunate when I had mine removed. It only cost me $500.00 and the front look great. Now I will tell you why it only cost $500.00. I had a Boo Boo on the front of the coach and that was my deductible. James Stalling the owner of Xtreme Graphic in Nacogdoches Texas convinced my insurance companies adjuster that there was no way they could match the color of the paint without removing the 3M #&^%$. It worked and as I said it looked good after it was buffed and waxed. Herman
