  1. You should have no problem with the items you mentioned. If it were me, I would lay down some carpet, with two sided tape, to cover the entire floor so the stuff won't slide around. Herman
  2. Wayne, What I could not find was the weight. I had to move mine out to work on it and then put it back in. That son of a gun is heavy and I mean heavy. It would take two strong men to take it out of the coach and put it back in. I just had to pull it out on the floor not out of the coach. Herman
  3. RJ, Welcome to the Forum. We need a bit more information on the dog pen. How much does it weigh? Will it fit in the Compartment? What is the Compartment make of, Wood or Molded Plastic? Is there any cross support under the compartment? What else do you plan on carrying in the compartment? As you can see there are many factors in you question. Herman
  4. I know it has only been 4 day since the OP but he hasn't responded to any of the suggestions or questions. I wonder if he found a solution or Not. Just wondering???? Herman

  6. I will contact our Southern Region VP and Vendor Captain and get the man who does Satellite service for Six-State. When I get it I will post it here. Herman
  7. Mailman, I took off a Winegard dome and put a Winegard Dish Traveler 1000. No weight difference to speak of and the installation was very simple. This was one time I followed instructions and had no hiccups. I do have 2 TVs and they are both HD. Herman
  8. Ivy, Might I suggest locating an RV Salvage yard. There your should be able to find most anything you need for your wipers. As Carl will tell you when ever I am anywhere near Carthage, MO. I will check out Colaws RV Salvage (Exit 22 on I-44) for any thing I need. I have saved several thousand of dollars by going there. Herman
  9. Papa, Most newer coaches, YES. Older coaches, NO. Herman
  10. R5154, Welcome to the Forum. I am not familiar with the Equinox but some where in the Forum I seem to remember something about the light staying on for several minutes. If you will go to the search box located in the upper right side of this page and type in "Equinox", you will find all the post on your Equinox and hopefully find your answer. Good luck and again Welcome Herman

    Dash Air

When we are in the really hot time of the year, we cool with the dash air. We then put up our curtain that goes behind the drivers and passengers seat. Then we turn on the generator and the front A/C and close all but the front vent. That keep us reasonably comfortable, well as comfortable as you you can get driving a fish bowl west in 100% + weather. (I figure it is about 1 gallon per hour running both A/Cs) Herman

    Impact tool

There was a device at Harbor Freight to hold a large tire. it was hydraulic and had rollers so you coud position the tire to remove and replace the tire. I plan on looking at both since I would like to have a look at my brakes. Never done it on a 22.5 wheel. (Ray, my DW says the same thing but she appreciates it when I have saved mucho denaro.) I am 82 and have no intention of slowing down. Herman
  16. Carl is correct on Buck Horn and Miller Creek. Miller Creek has a fair share of Snow Birds so you might want to call ahead to see if they have a spot. Miller Creek RV Park---- 830-868-2655 Buckhorn Lake Resort----830-895-0007 Herman

  18. Richard, I don't have an aluminum foil helmet I have a full fledged Aluminum Hard Hat. I wear it daily and have not had my mind altered by the government yet. my mind altered yet, my mid altered yet. They were outlawed as a Safety Hat years ago. It was the standard for linemen for year until someone found out, all though not a good one, that Aluminum was a conductor of electricity. Opps! Herman
