  1. Steve, Welcome to the Forum. I am sorry you feel that way. But FMCA is only protecting themselves. There are some folks that will join up take advantage of a program or programs and then drop FMCA. Not saying you would do such a thing but there are some. Good luck and Happy travels. Herman

    FMCA Plates

A bit off topic but I for one don't like the thought of putting holes in my coach to mount my Plaque. I can mount on the ladder but with several to mount it make the ladder difficult to use. And then comes the front to worry about. My solution was to have decals made. I made ones that mount on the inside of the windshield for the front and surface mounts for the rear. I had mine made at Fast Signs near my home. Herman
  3. I am sorry that no one answered you inquiry into the NorthEast Area Rally. I can not say why you didn't receive a reply. That being said if you would like to attend a rally that will have 40 to 50 Vendors, Show RVs, Seminars out the gazoo, three nights of entertainment and the chance to meet me, then check out "The Six-State Rally Associations 45th Painted Pony Rally". It will be held September 19th through 22nd, in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the "Heart of Oklahoma Expo Center" The Registration Form will be in the June, July, and August issue of the magazine. Send me a PM and I will see you get a registration form. Herman
  4. Roland, Brett has some valid suggestions. In my humble opinion, if you could let go of the cash, I would go ahead and buy all six tires now. You are going to have to replace the front tires before long, the why not do it now and feel safe and sound, Just my thoughts. Herman
  5. ESP are good for some folks and not good for others. In my case no ESP Company will insure a coach over 10 year old. If you know of one please post it here. Thanks, Herman
  6. Does the KOA still cook Pancakes in the morning? Herman
  7. Wayne, First lets begin with the make, model and year of your coach. You might start with your Start solenoid. It can be located with your fuse panel in most cases. With the key on check to see if you have voltage on bath sides of the solenoid. If not jump across the two large post and then try to start your coach. If it starts then it is a bad solenoid and replace it (be sure the ask for a 12 volt continues solenoid). Herman
  8. Thanks, that should get you lots of answers. There a number of folks here that travel the East Coast quite a bit. Good Luck, Herman
  9. Nan, Might I suggest you look into a Inverter of at least 1,000 Watts. This would at least give you peace of mind for running your cpap. Good luck. Some of the answers here are not understood by a lot of us. Herman
  10. Welcome to the Forum. I would be helpful if we knew where you are coming from and what is your destination in Mass. Herman
  11. Richard, If I understand it the reason for the loop is they are thinking that you will have excess cable when mounting based on Mounting Option 2. Option 1 is for mounting the unit over the entrance to the roof for the coax. They assume (and we all know what happen we assume) you are going to have excess cable when you mount in one place and enter the roof some where else. That's my story and I'm sticking to to. By the way I am interested in how the unit works. I need an over the air antenna and it just may be the one. Herman
  12. Discount Tire has a torque wrench tester and are happy to let you test your wrench. Herman
  13. We had rain all night and day since Monday night. Finally stopped this afternoon. Now for some sunshine. Herman
  14. This is where your road side service comes into play. Call them and have them tow your vehicle to the place of your choose. Herman
  15. I am partial to the Rhino Flex Hose. Mainly because is will compress to about 4 feet and expand to 15 feet. IMHO. Herman
  16. What you have may be tail lights from a pickup. To me they look like a Ram tail light turned up side down. If so you may have to replace them because most of the modern lenses are sealed units. Herman
  17. Open the engine compartment and look behind the tail lights and see how they are mounted before you begin to pry on the lens. Herman
  18. Find and check all ground connections related to the Furnace. Your lights and furnace may both be on battery only and not through the inverter. There must be a loose or corroded connection in the 12 volt side. I would start with furnace first. Just a thought but turn off the lights, start the furnace then turn on the lights and see if they flicker then. Seems like you have tried most everything, Good Luck. Herman
  19. sg campbell, I have the hopper in our coach. The hopper will support one Hopper and two Joeys. If you go with the wireless Joeys you can have one that you can move from one TV in the coach to the TV outside. The wireless Joeys has a transmitter that has to have 110 volt out let and connects to your Hopper. Each of the two Joeys require an 110 volt outlet and are connected to the TV with a HDMI cable but do not require a coax. If you have any questions sent me a PM and I will send you my phone number. Herman
  20. Kevin, Sorry but we need a bit information. What make, model and year coach or trailer do you have? Also where did you order the brackets from? All this information will help folks help you. Herman
  21. You can email David Kessler INTO Area Vice President. dkessler@fmca.com David can answer your question. Herman
  22. Jim, I hear you but this was the only information I could get. I do plan on pursuing this to find out more. When I do I will post it here. Sorry,I have no idea how long it might take. Herman
  23. Richard, Might I suggest that you call around to shops that repairs gen. sets. Then ask then if they have a tech that is as old a Carl () and has been working on generators for many years. If you can find such a person, he might be a good source for the information you need. Good luck on your search, Herman
  24. The last numbers I received for a 30 day period was that we had the Forum visited over 128,000 times with over 500,000 items and topics visited. Erniee and Carl the only ones we see here are the ones that post. So it may not seem that there isn't much activity on the site but there are a lot of viewers that do not respond. Herman
