  1. This web site is in China. They have about every type of bulb you can think of. Just search on 24v LED Bulbs Mini In The Box
  2. It has been our good fortune to have communicated with you, even if it was just by the forum(s). Good luck in your next endeavor. Merry Christmas and a Happy, and prosperous, New Year.
  3. Like Bill, I use the Kiley Mold brackets on the ladder, but I mounted ine so they extend to the back of the ladder and it doesn't have to be moved or stepped over to go up the ladder For the front, I use suction cups in the lower passenger side of the windshield. Doesn't restrict my vision when driving. Typically the first thing I look at walking around a park is the windshield area. Just looking for sings of life I guess, then just see signs or pets hanging out on the dash.
  4. I don't believe the radio is a feature provided by Freighlier. They just do the chassis. Call Damon. Funny, but my coach, not a Damon, has a switch that came with it that says "Radio Service/House". I also have speaker that say "Radio/TV", but they are provided by the coach mfg, and not Freightlner
  5. I don't know anything specific about the Phaeton but here is something that could be generic. You can check on this by calling the dealer. The steps are controlled by a current limiter switch. Even when the steps are extended or retracted there is still a current flow to maintain their state. The trickle charge from the converter may not have enough juice to maintain the batteries. In my particular case with a different model/mfg I turn the step off after I close the door. I can reach the switch through the screen opening. Ever since I stopped doing that, and one more item in next paragraph, I have not had a problem. Next paragraph. Again in my particular case, when the disconnect switch is in the disconnect position there is no charge being administered from the converter. The wiring just doesn't work that way - in my case, no trickle charge. I would like to suggest that you call your Mfg and ask questions.
  6. I like it. Had the people been more considerate of your needs and patience in waiting for the pump the bag would not have been needed. It is what it is, and then it is what you make of it.
  7. Probably not, but who cares. Not me. It's satisfatory for what I want it to do. All a person has to do is look at the options they want and then decide what they want to spend.
  8. I use a GoPro Hero +3 as a dash cam. It has all the features so far discussed in this thread. When not moving in the RV it can be pulled from the mount and it fits in your shirt pocket. It can be used for video or snapshots. Works for me.
  9. You had better skip that one. There are 300+ turns in just a few miles and some you would be reading your license plate if you could make it around them. Thanks for the info on 125.
  10. I have a complete set of keys and my wife carries complete set of keys. I always leave her set of keys for service. That's all I'm saying.
  11. I'm 40 miles South of Houston. In the Summer time we are 5 degrees cooler than Houston, and the Winter time we are 5 degrees warmer than Houston, typically.
  12. There are no interest charges on credit cards that are paid off every month.
  13. It's a toss up. We never know from day to day if we wil be running air conditioners or heaters or neither. On the Gulf Coast of Texas we just wait 5 minutes for the weather to change. It can be in the 30's on some evenings and other evenings it can be in the low 60's. Here is an Accuweather chart for January 2014: http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/houston-tx/77002/january-weather/351197
  14. Back in September of 2013, I purchased a KarGard II tow protection screen. It was a short time later that it started to tear at the seam on the tow bar side. I took pictures and contacted Blue Ox. I also informed them that I was going on an extended trip. Well, we returned last month and I contacted Blue Ox. A few email correspondences and yesterday a new screen arrived. I have an RMA for FedEx to return the torn screen. Thank you Blue Ox, you are surely living up to your reputation for good service. Oh, and I have your Base Plate for my 2013 Lincoln MKX and your Aventa II tow bar. All good products.
  15. Interesting subject on the tax difference. I always pull into the truck section. I have not found to many stations that have RV pumps on the gas islands that can accomodate my 40' plus tow. I just don't take the chance that I'll have to unhook to back out once I make the decisions to drive in. Yesterday, even in the truck lane, I pulled up and the pump was out of service. Howver, there was an 18 wheeler that was parked as if it had just pulled out of there. I had to wait 15 minutes for that trucker to come out and move his rig so I could drive through and pull into a servicable pump. With that said, whatever the trucker lanes are selling fuel for that is what I am pumping. I'm sure that at one time passing through AZ I may have been at the wrong pump. I never noticed it. I will no be aware of looking for that sticker. I don't think it will change my mind if I'm needing diesel fuel. Personally I think it is stupid to not be able to select at a pump and have the system recognize the type of fuel you want. At the PFJ I press "Tractor Fuel."
  16. Check your owner's manual. That drop may be to much. The tow bar manufacturer also has restrictions. Check their manual. I know that is not what you wanted to hear, but it is better said to be safe.
  17. Missouri, US-65, has been nice so far. Presently in Branson.
  18. Breit, that seems like a very nice feature, and logical. Probably why it's not on more systems.
  19. We have been on the road since June 13th - this year. Across FL panhandle, up the East Coast to NE. Across to Niagara, then across lower Canada to MI. Up to St Ignace around the top and down the western side of Lake Michigan. Stopped in Apple Valley, MN and a few more stops and presently in Kansas City, MO. I use cruise control extensively, like it is on all the time except in those situations whare I have to slow down, or through a town/city. My exhaust brake is always on. About the only time I'll turn it off is when I first start out and want to dry the brakes out after a rain. When I hit my brakes I want the exhaust brake to help slow me down, and it does a fine job. I cruise at about 62-63 mph. going down some of the longer hills I'll creep up to 65 and the cruise control seems to hold me there. On occasion a steep hill will creep me up past 6mph over my set speed. At that time my exhause brake kicks in and assists in maintaining a comfortable speed. All other times I slow down I do not want to coast, I want to slow and most likely quickly. I use economy mode exclusively and only down shift to 5th when it starts going up and down. On the hills here in Missouri I cruised at 62 and many of the longer grades it never shifted out of 6th hear. On other hills it shifted to 5th and occasionally to 4th. I was very happy with the performance in economy mode. I have an ISB 340 with an Allison 2500 transmission, pulling a 2013 Lincoln MKX. I'm sitting at 9.2 mpg at this stop and that is the average for this entire trip. What am I doing wrong.
  20. Howdymi, I have a 2008 Winnebago Destination. I have had some of those problems. I hear tell that Wennebago is a good product, but I can assure everyone that I would not ever by another product from them.
  21. 2008 Winnebago Destination and it has the rust problem. You are not alone. I was giving an estimate of $4000 to pull the front cap and repair it.
  22. A few years ago the flap seal on the right door as you are looking at the unit was torn away. Sort of looked like a paper would after folding it several times and tearin along the fold. Gorrilla black masking Tape (think duck tape) to the rescue. I measured the distance from the inside of the seal to the outside edge. Cut a strip of gorrilla tape, placed it over the tear and folded it over the outside edge a little. It is still working. Just this week noticed the left hand door had a small (3" tear) and I just put gorrilla tape on it. We'll see. Knock on wood that this refrigerator has been working perfectly since 2008 and it does have the safety recall done. (black box). So if you are not ready to put in the residential, think gorrilla tape for the seal. You said bulge and shelves so Im' thinking you don't have a seal problem.
