  1. Nancy, Is your ResMed AirSense 10 12V or 110? I would think it would have a "adapter" so you could plug it into 110. If you have an inverter in your coach, I bet you have a 110 outlet in the back that is powered from it. Turn off external power and test the outlets with your inverter on. Bill
  2. I don't see anything wrong with the repaired pipe. If you feel the need to spend the money I would call and find a Tubing shop to make a new one, probbabley cheaper than Freightliner. I second Texas Custom Coach in Pipe Creek, Texas. Driving over there from Houston will tell you if the new one leakes. Bill
  3. Welcome to the forum. I think it would be fun to get acess to one of the certified torque meters used to calibrate torque wrenches and run a test. Bill
  4. It never hurts to add cleaning the CAC to your annual maintenance list. I hope to escape before it gets to hot. Bill
  5. Yes it is a common problem with rear radiator coaches. It should be addressed at least yearly. wfstewa, I would look at yours to. Bill
  6. Did you happen to notice that the instructions were pointing out the wrong fuse? That the link I commented on pointed out the correct fuse? Bill
  7. Well good for you. I was pointing out that the numerous mechanical items covered by your warranty statistically fail rather quickly as in the first few months (when you have the factory warranty) or last a long time before failure. " crapping in two different expensive toilets over 700 times a year," Seriously I would cut back on the fiber a little. As someone said "Only time will tell." Bill
  8. Welcome to the forum and thank you for sharing. Bill
  9. Yes, yes it is good to sit in that seat again looking down the road. Bill
  10. Just spent 5 days camping. It was close to being in my backyard. Friends in the local Bounder club asked for a hand running a little rally. I decided I might as well as long as I am grounded. We had 18 coaches show up and had a good time. Bill
  11. OK, "Towing-- towing behind motorhome" =Toad "Towing 5th wheel or trailer" = Tow Vehicle Towing with a Medium Duty Trucks (Class 4-6) =MDToater Towing with a Heavy Duty Trucks (Class 7/8) = HDToater Didn't we use to have a library? We need a library. Bill
  12. I would get a piece of RG6 cable so you can connect to campground cable if you can't get service. Bill
  13. Yep , show time. It is sad how some dealers treat newbies. In Maine one time this couple pulled into the next spot and were trying to figure out how to set up. I already had my beer so I went around to the side to watch. Well I had to go help. I ended up doing a post delivery training program. The dealer had told them nothing!!! They added a "KIT" that had a 5' water hose and a 3, sewer hose with no ends. They got a tablet and I walked them through what they needed doing show and tell then they went to Walmart. Bill
  14. The biggest problem is if they put the wrong coolant in with no SCA additives you can and will damage your engine if you drive it much with that coolant in it. Hopefully you can make them re do it with the right coolant or take it to someone who can do the job correctly. I wouldn't be to worried about the silica short term but no SCA's is the big problem. I would consider converting over to ELC coolant. That way you don't have to monitor SCA levels. Keep us informed on how it goes. Bill
  15. I have one of those as a spare and like how they accordion together for more compact storage, at least when new. Bill
  16. Rick, I self insure and have for years. The company's play on people's fears of problems not on reality. You have a new coach, If you take care of it you should not have any problems that arn't covered under warranty or regular maintenance. If you have a warranty by the manufacture the outher warranty is not going to pay anything for repairs. Bill
  17. Welcome to the forum. I think you can find a fairly good list of basics by browseng the diferan't forums. What do you have or what are you looking for? Bill
  18. I agree. I would add that if you have this problem with the brakes you could run a Dot 5 full synthetic brake fluid it will not absorb water. Bill
  19. Let me see if I understand this correctly. You had a warranty that you paid $3,000-4,000 for that you didn't use and only lost half your money on. You no want to spend money insuring a new coach with full warranties included. I am betting there are enough exclusions based on the manufactuers warranties must be used first, that they will never need to spend a dime. Why not just take the refund check and match it in a savings account. That way you will have the money to fix whatever breaks and they deny coverage. Bill
  20. See if there are any numbers cast into the plastic or the lense and do a search or call HR and ask. Bill
  21. Not bad looking, never heard of it before and we are in the Freeport area often. That is one of the problems in that part of the world. They close down soon after Labor Day or sooner. Bill
  22. Congratulations on the new coach. I use and recommend the Surge Guard 34850 Portable Model with LCD Display - 50 Amp. I like being able to test the power in a spot before parking or testing outher sites if the power is bad where you are without moving the coach. I would talk to Tire Man about the Tire Minder. I use a Camco set up like this. I have 4 sections of hose and have needed all of it at some places. Never buy the cheap ones where you have to screw the ends on the hose or use clamps. https://www.amazon.com/Camco-Revolution-Swivel-Fittings-Adapter/dp/B0024E6W02 Bill
  23. I found the Trico #17-260 ones on Amazon. Have you tried Walmart? Bill
  24. Don't forget the slinky sewer hose support. I have seen places that require them. Bill
