  1. I am with Joe on this. it was at a pretty good angle to wear like that. I would do a search as I think there is a recall/problem with the steering locking when it isn't supposed to. Bill
  2. Why are you pushing it? You are retired and not on the clock. I try for 250-300 miles a day. I want to be set up by happy hour. Bill
  3. Welcome to the forum. I don't have any experience with that make and model coach. If you can't find anyone with one, what are your concerns? Have you considered hiring someone to inspect the coach for you? Bill
  4. Welcome to the forum. Why not look at the Rio Grand Valley? Bill
  5. Welcome to the forum. The FMCA towing guide says if it is a manual transmission it is. https://site.fmca.com/images/stories/pdf/towing_06.pdf Allso Remco does show that the manuel is towable, allso the 2006 Scion tC ALL FWD I4 2.4L cyl 4-Speed Automatic U241E, with a lube pump. http://www.remcotowing.com/Towing/Store.php Bill

  7. That is why TIME is an important question. That is why toll roads were built. They are the shortest ,fastest, easiest way to go. Well except for the GW bridge. Bill
  8. This may help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldekjpYQ7Qw&t=76s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhtuETqUuic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5MSGqfh8z0 Bill
  9. How long do you have for this trip? I would get an EZ-Pass for the trip. Bill
  10. Welcome to the forum. Well you could join AAA and use their mapping service or pick up some paper maps to use in planning your trip.Or you can use CoPilot as you can download the maps when you have wifi and you don't use as much data. We have used it for the last 4-5 years with good success. I have the basic version not the RV specific version. I have heard of some problems with the RV version. Bill
  11. Try calling hear to see if they can help. http://motorhomesoftexas.com/parts-accessories I think the pipe should be good as it doesn't have to hold any great preshure. Bill
  12. Nancy, Is your ResMed AirSense 10 12V or 110? I would think it would have a "adapter" so you could plug it into 110. If you have an inverter in your coach, I bet you have a 110 outlet in the back that is powered from it. Turn off external power and test the outlets with your inverter on. Bill
  13. I don't see anything wrong with the repaired pipe. If you feel the need to spend the money I would call and find a Tubing shop to make a new one, probbabley cheaper than Freightliner. I second Texas Custom Coach in Pipe Creek, Texas. Driving over there from Houston will tell you if the new one leakes. Bill
  14. Welcome to the forum. I think it would be fun to get acess to one of the certified torque meters used to calibrate torque wrenches and run a test. Bill
  15. It never hurts to add cleaning the CAC to your annual maintenance list. I hope to escape before it gets to hot. Bill
  16. Yes it is a common problem with rear radiator coaches. It should be addressed at least yearly. wfstewa, I would look at yours to. Bill
  17. Did you happen to notice that the instructions were pointing out the wrong fuse? That the link I commented on pointed out the correct fuse? Bill
  18. Well good for you. I was pointing out that the numerous mechanical items covered by your warranty statistically fail rather quickly as in the first few months (when you have the factory warranty) or last a long time before failure. " crapping in two different expensive toilets over 700 times a year," Seriously I would cut back on the fiber a little. As someone said "Only time will tell." Bill
  19. Welcome to the forum and thank you for sharing. Bill
  20. Yes, yes it is good to sit in that seat again looking down the road. Bill
  21. Just spent 5 days camping. It was close to being in my backyard. Friends in the local Bounder club asked for a hand running a little rally. I decided I might as well as long as I am grounded. We had 18 coaches show up and had a good time. Bill
  22. OK, "Towing-- towing behind motorhome" =Toad "Towing 5th wheel or trailer" = Tow Vehicle Towing with a Medium Duty Trucks (Class 4-6) =MDToater Towing with a Heavy Duty Trucks (Class 7/8) = HDToater Didn't we use to have a library? We need a library. Bill
  23. I would get a piece of RG6 cable so you can connect to campground cable if you can't get service. Bill
  24. Yep , show time. It is sad how some dealers treat newbies. In Maine one time this couple pulled into the next spot and were trying to figure out how to set up. I already had my beer so I went around to the side to watch. Well I had to go help. I ended up doing a post delivery training program. The dealer had told them nothing!!! They added a "KIT" that had a 5' water hose and a 3, sewer hose with no ends. They got a tablet and I walked them through what they needed doing show and tell then they went to Walmart. Bill
