Well hear we are, over a year down the road. Still no answer from John Walker or anyone else on the governing board. Yes Jon Walker had a event talking about improvements but I couldn't get in on the format he was using and got no reply from the emails or text I sent. I kind of miss the people posting using profiles created years ago and never used. The first post was to derogate something posted hear. 😅 We wish DB well in his new job. I think the future does lay with the new people getting into the RV life and all those goin full time. Why can people on You tube have nearly 100 people show up just to see their new RV? Because they offer information to the newbie's. Bill

My 2004 American Tradition 40V Load Weights and Tire size
wildebill308 replied to navyjoe's topic in Tires
I did look at one that was in my budget range(and still ran) but they had painted the whole interior in a " Antique white". All that fabulous burled wood ruined. That and the gen set had to many hours. I would seriously look at some of the Fortravel coaches. But till then I will poke along in my little camper. Bill -

I wonder just how far and how long it takes to stop a 48,000 pound coach from 85??? Probably measured in foot ball fields rather than feet. Bill -
Welcome to the forum. I, like others would look under the bead. you might have to remove some protective wood panels. Follow the heavy cables. Have you asked teck support? They are usually pretty good. Bill

Welcome to the forum. We will be at Yellowstone before the rally. I would be calling NOW as places to stay are limited. We are staying on the east side out at Cody. If you put your RV in your signature it will help to get better answers. (See Ross's above) Bill

Dometic Portable Fridge/Freezer
wildebill308 replied to obiwan_canoli's topic in Systems and Appliances
Mine is on a sliding tray in the first compartment on the passenger side. You can get the trays in any size. I would try to get one that comes out past any overhead obstruction like a slide. It makes it a lot easier to use/acess. Bill -

The wiring diagrams/scamatics I have seen are so rudimentary as to be useless. This applies to most of all the makers. Big chief tablets and crayons is what I see from most of them. I would not let that slow me down if the coach fit your needs. Any competent RV teak can trouble shoot problems and fix them. Bill

In that case you should PULL UP, PULL UP.

Just kidding, what was it around the 24th of last month you were picking up your new to you trailer? No mention of a trip. The whole country is having weird weather with it over 100 in North Dakota and cooler and wheatear than normal in the south. Deborahheinz, Just remember they are going to have to take those kids home and put up with them and they will have to go back to work and you won't. Bill -

I don't think I would qualifi so we will be down the road a little at Santa Fe Skies RV Park towards the end of the month. You are a long way from Wisconsin. Bill -
If I thought I was getting un truthful answers from the park where I was looking to buy I wouldn't be buying there. Where else have you looked at wintering? Last Dec. We were at Buckhorn Lake in Kerrville Texas. https://www.buckhornlake.com/ There are places along the Texas coast and I like the hill country. Why not spend some time exploring outher options. Bill

Be carful she might read this!! I can't find the picture I took but I have about 130,000 on my coach and don't think they have ever been changed. They still look to be over 75% left. navyjoe, I was longer than 3 weeks just for a awning. Bill

Like Jim said I would ask the seller and the park. I am wondering on why you would go to Yuma during the summer months? Winter maybe. I have been there and it is HOT. My last trip to that part of the world was we stopped in Phoenix for a week and it was running 112-114. The kicker was they gave the weather forecast for the whole state. The hi in Flagstaff was running in the mid 70s.We left and headed north. Bill

So you now have both sets of pads located/coming in. How are your rotors? I would bet you will never need brake pads again. Pads and brake problems are some of the least common problems I see on the forums especially on diesel coaches. It makes me wonder if your calipers were releasing properly or the previous owner road the brakes to much. Bill
