  1. Carl, Newmar has their customer support people working from home. I got a email yesterday from them. Bill
  2. I am guessing but I would say the batteries may not have been all that well charged from the dealer. You have a great opportunity (and time) to run a test and see how long they will last. You could spend the night in it just like we tell people just starting out. Bill
  3. The key is how much boondocking are you going to be doing? I looked at replacing with Lithium Ion batteries but seldom/never need the extra capacity. The outher thing is they replaced my house batteries on my 2008 Newmar Mountain Aire before I took my coach home. They put in Napa brand. So we will see how they last. Something to think about you can replace the Costco ones 2 times and still be cheaper than the Crown batteries. Are you going to replace your start batteries? Bill
  4. I know that well. I have had English cars. Bill
  5. I am ready for them to give me a lowball price right now. Bill
  6. Looks like a replacement for the Quilted Northern Extra Strong. The big question is. Will it break down in my holding tank??? Bill
  7. I am with Herman. I think you would be better off self insuring. Put the money in a account or earmark what they would have charged you. Bill
  8. Good advice rikadoo and welcome to the forum. Please take the time to enter your coach and other info to your signature. See mine and others as examples This will save you time latter. Bill
  9. Interesting, never got to look in a American Tradition but moved everything from the Bounder that had plenty of space or atleast no complaints to the MADP and have at least 3 shelves in the pantry not used yet and most of the overhead storage in the front is still empty. Bill
  10. I will bet you only will lose the top drawer to the dishwasher. I looked at a MADP that had the optional dishwasher and that stuck in my mind. We talked about adding one but haven't yet. Yes we have a lot of inside storage. Bill
  11. Looking good. What all did they upgrade? Bill
  12. Glad you had your safety glasses on. Bill
  13. I don't know Why your gas is so expensive. Kroger down the street is $1.26. Bill
  14. The salesman said I could tow this trailer, no problem. That pork looks good. Bill
  15. Did you squeeze some garlic over that? Bill
  16. I agree with you. Many people will go thousands of miles to see what is in your backyard and the things you drive by and take for granted and have never visited. We had fun exploring and setting up things to do and see when hosting a couple of rallies for clubs we belong to. Made me think of something fun. Arlington Texas is a city in between Ft Worth and Dallas. When driving back and forth on the freeways you see the city limits sines but you/we don't think much about it mostly "yep there is Arlington" Yet if you came up on Arlington out on the plains by itself you would be going WOW. Because Arlington is a fairley big city (48th largest in US) but because where it is it's "yep there is Arlington". But it is an interesting place to explore. It has the newest most advanced ball park in the world (Globe Life Field). I am planning on a tour after this mess calms down. So go explore around where you live and yes I have two much time on my hands this morning. Bill
  17. Try https://www.stabilus.com/ or call Lift Supports Depot.com 866-969-5438. I like Lift Supports Depot because I broke a end/connector and called them and they sent me a new one free. I am pretty shure if you call them they can figure out what you need. Did you call Winnebago to see if they had the parts or what the price would be? I called Newmar when I was trying to determine what # the struts on the back engine cover should be. Turns out they had them in stock cheaper than some outher places. Bill
  18. Welcome to the forum. That definitely looks chafed. Bill
  19. I would keep an eye on it and toss out the first couple of batches as you just put new filters in. There is usually some carbon and filter lint washes out the first couple of batches. Probably wouldn't hurt you but looks bad in the glass. What do you mean "It works when you turn it on" Bill
  20. Haven't seen a set of Holley valve covers in a long time. Bill
  21. Great, now you can turn the fridge back on and keep some cold beverages handy while you relax. No I mean while you study the new manuels. Bill
  22. What was impressive was everything was stocked and looked good not all picked over. I think a lot of people are overlooking places like this. Joe, look at the website at the new sundays. You may need to make a ice cream run. Bill
  23. Just a heads up during these tough times with shortages and crowds at the supermarkets. I have a suggestion. Braum’s. Well ok this is only good throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Missouri, and Arkansas. If you do live near a Braum’s I think many are overlooking them. They are a ice cream and dairy store but have a nice selection of bread and baked goods, salads and meat. I was in one this afternoon and There were only 2 people in the place besides the employees. https://www.braums.com/ Did I mention that they have really good ice cream. Bill
  24. Joe, the fun part is it isn't realey an exit it is like a rest stop. That part of I-95 is a toll road and you never go through a toll plaza. There is always lots of room to park a RV. Bill
