  1. Now there are 2 new topics, margaritas and their content and State liquor laws. Bill
  2. Well finally!! Now the work starts moving everything over from the old coach. Bill
  3. Wayne, maybe he is to excited to get on the computer. Bill
  4. Lots of good advice. When you pull a spark plug out to see if it is wet with gas clean it and hold it against a ground and see if it sparks when you crank it. Doing a good basic tune up would go a long way to eliminating problems. Plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Does it still have points? I think the last year was 1972. When you set the timing I would run at least 10* before TDC. You all so have a project ahead of you replacing all the hoses in there. Bill
  5. The dog said it's good that's all YOU need. You are getting of the thread of this post and the FMCA Forum Moderator will get you. Bill
  6. If you add that kind of info to your signature you don't have to remember to add it every time. Bill
  7. Leaving the world of the golden microphone for the life of a RV teck? Bill
  8. Welcome to the forum. Call the local Freightliner shop and ask them. If they don't do it they will know someone that does. I would start with someplace like Lou Bachrodt Freightliner. https://www.freightlinermiami.com/ Let us know what you find out. Bill
  9. I agree with Brett if you are going with the Battleborn they would be who I talk to about charging. You will also want to tell them what you have for a start battery because you will need to charge it to. Bill
  10. Yep, be glad you aren't paying taxes on the current new replacement King Aire.
  11. But what if your covers were white? Don't blame me it is the shelter in place order. Bill
  12. Yes, that is the one, Totally corona free!!! https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/used-rvs-for-sale/diesel-motorhomes/2003-fleetwood-bounder_rv-44575 Seriously I would be looking at a used engine from a salvage yard. There are lots of them out there. Bill
  13. The difference is so small 5.9, 4.02 bore X 4.72 stroke versus 6.7, 4.21bore x 4.88 stroke. You know herman, I can get the OP a good running 5.9 already installed and tested for $30,000 and will throw in a whole coach ready to roll and a full tank of diesel and propane. Bill
  14. Some of the engines are rebuilt for $6500. Have you called any of the local salvage yards? I had always planned to go back with a 6.7 if I had to replace my 5.9. Bill
  15. Well lets hope things calm down soon. Maybe 6 State? Bill
  16. I considered something like that. I did consider the vibration but it is pretty tight The types I used are fairly robust. I am thinking about making a bracket to mount it off the ladder. Bill
  17. Much appreciated and I may take you up on it if I can't find any handy. It was mostly because I was to lazy to go in the shead and look. Bill
  18. Yes, I know about the black ones but didn't have any handey. These will last for a while and I may go to some kind of ladder bracket. Bill
  19. With some extra time on my hands I finally installed/moved my FMCA egg. Bill
  20. Joe I was basing my statement on this. If I remember on my Bounder (Fleetwood) the fresh air doors are right over the draine (there is no filter) and if the OP isn't getting proper air flow at the inside vents it would indicate the flopper doors arn't working right. One of those duckbill drains might help but I don't know if he had one originally. Bill
  21. I would check and see if the flopper doors are operating correctly. Bill
  22. I haven't seen many Blue Bonnet's around hear, my patch has already faded. Bill
