    BF Goodrich

I have never had any tire, other than Michelin on my DP's! Yesterday, I bit the bullet and had 8 new BFG , ST 230, 315-80r-22.5 put on, I can not say if I felt anything different in driving! I will follow up, after our 2,700 mile Canadian road trip! No tax in NJ, so $5,456 out the door! STTC has 47 locations, my cost was 21% less than FMCA Fleet price...due to STTC's massive buying power! They also, checked my breaks & seals..
  4. Ross, do you know who makes them?
  5. WOW ! What a difference that made...who did the work? Do you have a interior photo?
  6. If they did not do it right the first time...why not find someone else to do it? Or is the shop not charging you for the correction?
  7. Brett has the right idea..CC had one of the best chassis and rides in the Industry! OP's coach could be any year Allure, up to late 2010 and it would have the same chassis and suspension as the 2006 had...that's when CC & Beaver went belly up!
  8. It would help to know, make, model, year and length coach! I can only guess that it might be a Gulfstream, due to the 3 long windows...Damond had them also (terrace room). Ernie, is the only person I would use for wood flooring! There are several Vendors in AZ, IN and TX that does re-models. You can find them in the back section of FMCA magazine or on line!

    China tires

Good points. May I suggest, that most tire failure is caused by owner error! Too much or to little tire pressure, incorrect loaded RV, over weight.
  10. Congrats on your new coach! My current bar is 6000#, have a 10,000# at home...we will be in Albany area by Thursday...Lancaster, PA since Thursday, visiting Joe L.
  11. The last model year for Insignia was 2019 & came out in 2018. There is no 2020 Insignia. I spoke to a friend who bought the 2016 and then 2019 Insignia...Like Newmar, Jacks only by Lippert. It was a entry level diesel coach. If you touch the pad for Auto leveling, it will dump the air before engaging Jacks! Kay, I have the Lippert Power Gear, Air or Jacks system...Auto or Manual for both!
  12. I would be taking a good, hard look at the bearings, about now!
  13. It's not normal...take it to the dealer! If it's new to you, you should have a 90 day Dealer Warranty, new to world then it's under full warranty. Always use JACK STANDS, NEVER USE AIR OR COACH JACKS to work under coach...also block the wheels! You don't breath well when your chest is crushed.
  14. The different side windows and top, makes it look like 2 different RV's put together to make one! Back in 1964-66, it was Dodge chassis and engine. Winnebago came on the market in 1958, followed by Frank Motor Home (Travco), 1968 Ultra Van and by 1970 there was over 24,000 Motor homes on the road...the gas crunch of 72, caused all but a few to disappear. These where all "Cookie Cutter" Class A's! There was plenty of Bus Conversions, prior to 1930's thru today. The early ones where owner conversion of Flexible, Grayhound buses! The Chevy & Ford chassis was used on Class C, after 1972...Dodge was still popular on Class A's, until late 1970's. GMC from 1973 to 1978 is probably the best known & still on the road today, as both a RV & LEO/Military, Command Center!
  15. This Post seems to have taken over, for those other posts, that is now by the wayside...like Roland and his dash light problem! Any way we can reach out and help him?
  16. Eric. If you don't have it already, I suggest you get the M&G brake system. It works with your coach air brake and there is no electric involved. Manufactured in Athens, Texas! Works with any tow bar...I use Roadmaster, Herman has Blue Ox, Joe L. has Demco. I'm partial to towing anything that don't need to be run or idled, each time I stop. Jeep 2 or 4 door, Colorado or Silverado (gas or diesel)!
  17. Roland. Did you receive the PDF and make an appointment? Sorry, I did not get back to you! Your post got shuffled out, by others! Hope your issue is either resolved or being taken care of.

    CumminsISB 300hp

Is it the 33 foot or 35 foot?
  21. Since you like to travel, sight see, etc. You could come down to South Central & Lone Star. There is also, INTO area...chapters that travel everywhere in America!
  22. Most slides can be pulled in manually...no elect needed, are your Jacks elect or hydraulic? They too have a over ride system!
