  1. Linda just bought an electric scooter that fits in my bay, I will try it, if it works for me, we will have 2. Our thoughts are FMCA Rally's and any RV park that we would stay in for a week or longer! Will still have the Jeep! If I had a 25 foot, Class C? I would still have the toad. In the 60's, 70's & 80's, we used to take our Class A into market parking lots and go shopping! Not as many cars or people back then. Also, the few coaches that was out there, was less than 30 feet...exceptions? Yes, but they where conversion jobs and 35 feet. My first toad was in 1985, a new Izuzu Trooper ll, 4x4, used a A frame hitch connected to a 2" ball on coach...brakes? None. Cross chains? Yes. 2 Honda Mopeds on a Hydraulic lift in front of coach!
  2. With a 1997, you should be good to go...Solid in those days! Happy trails!
  3. I-10 is boring! It also is 2 lanes for 80% of journey...I stay in Ft. Stockton, old KOA, right off I-10, 6 miles East of town...then KOA in Van Horn! I'm like Brett, love Hwy. 90!
  4. US 20 is mostly one lane with medium width shoulder, I took it in my 45 with Toad, from Bend to Utah in 2014, nice drive & would do it again! US 26 should be the same, not been on it. I would google it first on Sat view!
  5. $692, covers my coach for 2 months! See what difference 10 years and 5 extra feet makes!
  6. I have stayed in a Church parking lot, when there was nothing else. Make a call to the local Police Dept. Have not had any problems...your worst enemy at this time of year, is the weather! Not where to spend 10+ hours...You are self contained & I would only use a slide as necessary! IMHO, if it was me, this time of year, I would take the Interstate to 395, then go down to Interstate again! Your going to it in any event after McCall. Good Luck, stay safe!
  7. $400 in Texas to file small claim, less than $5,000. Your recipes from installer + filling fee, bring pictures of before and after. Let them explain to the Judge, "How great their Techs are!" All your doing is getting your $$$ back! There are several reputable repair facilities in your area, within 90 minutes!
  8. Herman. Dan Ball, has 2 replies on this post already...8/2/2018 and 10/23/2018.
  9. Eternabond, I have used on both boats and pre 2000 coaches...I think its better than caulk! It does fill in and easier to work with, also takes a lot of beating and vibration...far more so at 110 kn over water, than you'll ever get in a coach! Brett, the only "Forever Tape", that I know, was green & yellow and it was a Movie! Lost more than it cost & that was not much!
  10. Thank you Bruce. The Amish & Mennonite still do! However, I have not seen any 5'ers or pull behinds, behind a horse or oxen!
  11. The 24th, we leave on a 16 day re-location cruise out of FL. Wish it was yesterday! When it's cold, Wayne & Brett are 10 degrees warmer, but when it's warm, we are 10 over them!
  12. The word is "RV" now...not coach, unless we know!
  13. Kay, does Flex Seal & Duct tape work on any roof?
  14. Jim, Duct Tape...I would like to gag now! 🤮
  15. Yes. Your used to what we consider cold. I would not be a happy camper, where your at...

Well, we got 2 also! 2006 Phaeton 40, DP & 2010 American Coach Tradition 45, DP. I think Kay might have 3...several people have more than one!
  17. it's now, 11:40 pm & 38 ! ☃️
  18. Man of War, Seattle Slew.
  19. That reads like a broken record... There is no right or wrong answer to this! It will probably be the next mandate by EPA in 2020 !
  20. Bill, or alive..the last post we got from them is under, Pictures/Photo contest, a year ago!
  21. Bruce, good thing we are not all the same, that would be boring! Tom, now I understand, why only one 12v! Thanks for listing your coach.
  22. NO Snow here, but it's 35 and I'm ☃️! The high today is expected to be 53 with a N wind of 20 mph!!!

dennyld248. Welcome to the Forum! Every bit of knowledge is helpful. It would help us, to help you, if you would include the make, model & year of your RV, under your signature! Carl C.

    Bedroom Slide

If that has changed, it was after 2011.
  25. RayIN. I'm like you, I left Progressive, 2 years ago. In the past 12 years, I have had Blue Sky, All State, Progressive twice, Nationwide and now State Farm...I go with the best coverage for cost. Charter Life of GS, long time before Marcus came along! The Insurance I had the longest, for everything, was USAA 1964 to 2005...They still have my house! No coverage on boat trailer? That makes no sense to me!
