  1. At present time Northern Tool & Equipment has two Adjustable Cargo Bars for $19.99 each 1 telescopes from 48" to 70" with rubber pads on each end and the other one is called a Quick Support Rod and expands from 5'3" to 9'5". You can also find them at most truck stops. Hope this helps.
  2. I will say this in the nicest way I can. Are you out of your mind? Going to Mexico at this time is just asking for trouble. If you would like to experience the Mexican Culture go to California or possibly Arizona.
  3. carlvik, Welcome to the Forum. If you have not already joined FMCA, I encourage you to do so. Great Benefits, wonderful magazine and wonderful people. Take a look here for Areas and Chapters. Check out chapter in your area. I'm sure you will find one that will fit you and yours. Keep up with the Forum. You can just sit back and read topics and ask questions. There is a world of knowledge right at the click of your mouse. Good luck and have fun with your HR Navigator.
  4. danddferr, Can't get a better person to answer your question then that. Go and check out everything there and next year jump right in and volunteer, it's a great experience.
  5. dennysnine, Check to see if you have room to put a diverter valve in the pressure line and run a line to the outside of your coach. Then when you want to drain your fresh water tank you can divert your water out the coach and use the pump to drain the tank quickly.
  6. dennysnine, Welcome to the Forum. Can you locate your water pump? 90% of the time your drain valve will be right there.
  7. As my boys would say about their mother,"Thats Oklahoma Logic". Butch you would be in severe hurt, you forgot to say the magic word, "could you PLEASE move a little closer, I'm only good for 20 feet". Remember your manners.
  8. Both of you have great Ideas, but no matter which he has, ITS Still Under the Dash. :( :( LOL
  9. Thanks, that was what I was looking for, for Ronnie. Thanks
  10. Ronnie, Welcome to the Forum. There have many blogs on the Norcold. Check the Forun topic 'System & Allpiances' there was someone that got a unit made by the Amish that looked good and they showed picture of the process. If you could find that blog it might give you some idea of the process. It wasn't for your unit but the directions might be helpful.
  11. Sound to me like the burn out at the drag strip. But I understand your reason.
  12. It might, the food guy hasn't given the Menu yet. I do know we will have Pork Tenderlion on Saturday Night. Weather permitting we will have several great outdoors Happy Hours. Our Chapter has great Happy Hours but does not allow Adult Beverages in the Rally Rooms or Hall.

  14. Dwight, I feel your pain, however when Brett said that he suspected that most newer vehicles brake light will not work with the key off, I tested mine. I have a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado and with the key off, what to my suprise, my brake lights would not, not work. After I thought about it, my old school mind remembered how many times I went and had to jump Start a customers car because the brake light switch was stuck and ran the battery down. Just my thoughts and I'm sticking to them (as long as it pertains to 2008 Chevrolet Silverados).
  15. paulh, Welcome to the Forum. Its nice to hear you want to visit us Yanks on this side of the pond. How are the regulations between England and Canada? Would it help to purchase in Canada and leave it there when you return to the ile? Either way it will be nice to extend the same friendship to you that your country gave to our Men in England during WW ll. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
  16. KURTDEN, Welcome to the Forum. Are you speaking about the Cut Off Switch? Many electrical components get warm when in use, HOT is another thing. Check for loose connections or corrosion of the cables on the switch.
  17. Koliver, I use my GPS for correct MPH. I also use it for MPG. My MH odometer is off also. However my silverado is right on.
  18. racesport, Welcome to the Forum. We have a 2002 400ISL, with a Trip Tec. I have been told by Trip Tec that I must have Cummins reprogram the ECM to correct my problem. When I check my Engine Data, which tell current Trans/Engine Temps, total miles and lifetime MPG. My lifetime MPG reads between 58.7 and 96.8 MPG. I would love for that to be true but ***********. Also at the same time I have 'Maint." light on on the dash. There doesn't appear to be any problems with the engine and has never ran better. I have just let it be for now and will check it out at a Cummins Service Center when I can go there on a trip. To answer your question about the fuel mileage shown, it's fairly close. but as with all readings like this I still like 'Miles driven divided by Gallons used= MPG.
  19. tzccbxq, Welcome to the Forum. Be sure and check the width of the wheel well covers in the bed. I know that some people had to make ramps over them to clear. I don't beleive that your F150 would have a problem. Also check the length. make sure the cart will go in far enough so the rear wheels are not resting on the tail gate. If you have the clearance you should have no problem.
  20. Bill, he said that 'there are times when using the RV restroom is not pleasant'. That is why I suggested an air freshener. Heck there are times my restroom is not pleasant but it's my fault. Fan-fan-fan. Need more be said?
  21. Tireman, I'm sure you have thought of this but be sure and check width. I know that the narrower ones have limits to how wide a track toad it will take. Ask if the widest dolly will also take what the narrow one does. This will give you chances to tow different size vehicles. Sounds like you have it pretty much under control. Good luck.
  22. Cruisingseniors, Welcome to the Forum. Most all Fair Grounds have Public Restrooms, some better then others, but not many with showers. It is best to come with a full water tank and empty holding & gray water tanks. If you GI Shower and use the public restrooms you should be OK. They will have water trucks and holding tanks trucks but they can be expensive. As far as your RV restroom sometime not being very pleasant might I suggest that a very good aerosol air freshener is good to keep in your restroom. Also have your fuel tank topped off too. Have a good time in Indianapolis.
  23. Brett is correct on the tires. Radial tires can cause a vehicle to pull one way or the other. If your coach is pulling that hard you might inspect both front tire for scuffing. Good Luck
  24. Deen, there is a problem with the reflective window tints on dual pane windows. It will heat up the air between the panes and build up pressure that can cause the seals to leak. Tints= good idea. Reflective tints= not so good an idea.
  25. gdroke, If you don't have your toad wired you will not have running lights and turn signals. However you are correct all braking systems apply pressure to the brake pedal and yes your brake lights will activate. I have learned that the candles I put on the back of my toad always seem to go out the minute I move.
