  1. I hope you ment 10,000 tow bar not 19,000. Blue Ox doesn't make a tow bar that heavy. Herman
  2. hsbaker, By some chance did you put in E-85 Ethanol fuel in your coach? If so that will cause a loss of power, run poorly and suck up fuel like crazy. Also now may be the time for a heavy dose of fuel/injector cleaner. Herman
  3. Welcome to the Forum. The reviews for National Vehicle Have not been good. Go the Forum search box in the upper right hand side of the page. Type in "Looking for Info. on National Vehicle Company". Read the commits there. Herman
  4. blasyholt, The 4x4 Fords require a switch, that has to be installed, to be able to place the truck into 4 wheel drive neutral. Check with your local Ford dealer. You may be able to purchase the kit and install it yourself. Also when you type in all caps it mean that you are shouting which I don't think you meant. Let us know how you do. Herman
  5. I have heard that chassis mfg. will pit more than one fuel filter on. Also there is also a small screen sock on the fuel pump in the tank. I have seen them with trash in them. Draining the tank and looking for trash may be a thought. Grasping at thoughts Herman
  6. There may be more than one fuel filter. Check closely along the frame rails all the way from the tank to the injectors. For some reason they like to hide the filters. Was the distributor cap checked when they changed the plug wires? Roter to. Herman
  7. It really pays off being an ole mechanic with lots of tools (Bobbie says I have way too many, I say not near enough). If it breaks, I can fix it unless it is the drive train. Then I leave it to the very good professionals, like Joe L. I can't say anything bad about CW. I have SOO much stuff I got from them when we first began M/Hing. And all of it stays so well in the original packaging and unwrapped for years in the bays taking up space . Herman
  8. Are we speaking of the Bay Doors? The 751 key is used mostly for fuel hatches. Most MH use Tri/Mark lock and there are several Key #s. My bay doors keys are a Tri/Mark KS180 and are cut to the Bay Door locks. If you have one of the assemblies out I would call Tri/Mark and ask what you can do. Part numbers would help. Herman
  9. John, most shops charge $25.00/tire to mount 22.5 tires plus $25.00/tire to balance. So you can look at $150.00 or $300.00 depending on what you want. Herman
  10. Jim/Nikki, Welcome to the forum. You can mount the plates on the rear with industrial grade two sided tape. ( no drilling) Lots of folk put the front on their dash with some sort of support. If your state does not require a front tag you can mount it there. Again Welcome.Herman
  11. They are doing wonderful things with 3-D printer now. Maybe with the drawings there is someone that can make one for you. May be worth a try. Herman
  12. pixlee, Welcome to the Forum. As for Traveling there should be no issues based on current conditions and restriction. If you have made the trip before check with the places where you have stayed before and ask if they are accepting one night reservations. Be prepared to do some dry camping. If you already have a place in Colorado check with them if it isn't your own place. Herman
  13. Detective: Mam can you describe the perpetrator? Lady: Yes, he was wearing a round like mask. Detective; What color was the mask? Lady: White I believe. Detective: Mam you just described 80% of the men in this country. Herman
  14. You are right, it looks like the center cap could be rotated one notch counter clockwise. Herman
  15. The tire is not round any more Duh. Sorry Carl The devil made me do it. Herman
  16. Check back with Colaws and ask about Stock Number G97241. Herman
  17. Try this company. Steele Rubber Products 800-650-4457 rv.steelerubber.com Herman
  18. I would also check on the websites for companie such as Blue OX, Roadmaster, Demco to name a few to see if they make Base Plates for the 2010 SRX. And as Brett said see what the owner manual for the Cadillac 2010 SRX says about towing it four down. Good luck, Herman
  19. Welcome home shipmate. My first duty was TDY to Hutchinson Kansas. Multi engine flight school. I was on Commander Nelson's crew. We flew DC-3s, S2FS and P2V"s. And my last duty station was VS-31 Anti Submarine Warfare Quonset Point Rhode Island. Thank you for your service. Herman
  20. Here is what any group needs to do to form an FMCA Chapter. First contact Kaitlyn Krol Chapter Services Assistant (kkrol@fmca.com) and ask for the Forms needed to form a new Chapter. Kaitlyn will send you all the paperwork needed and with directions on how to proceed. You will need to get 15 FMCA Members to sign you petition. (it used to be 20 to form and 15 to maintain but it is now 15 to form and 7 to maintain) All Petition signers must members in good standing of FMCA. You can form a chapter in a specific area like Midwest, South Central, ect. or one that is nationwide in the International Area (INTO). So if you would like to be a member of a "SUPER C" Chapter, get on the stick and form one. Lots of folks might be in the same boat but don't know where to go. Here is your chance to get one started. Herman
  21. I have a 2008 Saturn Vue FWD, I will get out my Owners Manual and see if there is any information on towing. I will let you know what I find. Sorry it may be tomorrow. Herman
  22. Welcome to the Forum also and welcome home Shipmate. Have you looked to see if the Generator is wire to the inverter? I may not have been connected when the coach was built. Herman
