  1. Could be the gas your are seeing is only from what is in the bowl? It may be showing up with the accelerator pump but not enough fuel to run. That could mean the fuel line is stopped up some where. I never saw where the starter fluid was tried. Herman

  6. FarAndAway, The Title to your post said what Make, Model and year your coach was. But Bill's advice is sound about adding your information to your signature. Herman

  8. Not a bad plan, however changing to a different displacement may involve a lot of parts and ECMs that aren't compatible from one to the other. But what the hay thats not a worry for you now. Herman

  13. Puff, I would understand the 6,000 mile round trip if you were talking about going to Perry Georgia next March (approx 2,800 miles) but Gillette Wy next July is only approx 1,100 miles.6,000 miles might be ok if you were going to Gillette by way of Perry. Herman
  14. My suggestion would be to contact VIP Wheel, aka Smart Wheel. Speak to a tech and there you could get the information on testing your clock spring. vipwheel.com or 847-395-7250 Herman
  15. There are a few things in life that are certain, Death, Taxes and the fact that both FMCA's Tucson and Lincoln Conventions have been canceled. SO, what all of us can do now is buckle down and help FMCA make the Perry 2021 101, 102 or will it be 103, whichever, the COMEBACK International Convention and RV Expo the best ever. WE CAN DO IT! Herman
  16. From the FMCA Website this morning. A message from FMCA President Jon Walker I am sorry to announce that on Friday, March 20, 2020, FMCA’s Board of Directors voted to cancel the association’s 102nd International Convention & RV Expo, scheduled for August 26-29, 2020, at the Lancaster Event Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. With so much uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic in North America – in particular, how long it might last -- FMCA’s leadership made the complex and agonizing decision to cancel this event. For the health of our members and the association, it was the most sensible and appropriate thing to do. Hopefully this pandemic will be under control by next spring and we can gather for our next convention scheduled for March 10-13, 2021, at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry. Until then, please follow the recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help stop the spread of COVID-19. And travel safely. Herman
  17. DM, Do you have the old drain hose or you can't locate the one on your unit? Is yours worn out, not there or not draining properly? If you have found the old one can you remove it and go to shops that do auto A/C work and ask if they can match it or direct you to someone that can. Herman
  18. Just my thinking. If you do that will you know if there is anything in the fuel line and if done do you want to put it back in the tank so it may end up in your engine where you could have the same issue with the coach that you are having with the generator? Herman
  19. ROBBDRELL, Welcome to the Forum. You answered so emphatically it sounds like you speak from experience. Herman
  20. Clark, Check your ignition solenoid. Herman
  21. DB by some chance do you have rubber fuel lines? If so it could be possible that they a partially collapsed. If this has happened there may be debri in the fuel lines. Herman
  22. I am due to renew my membership this month. Now my question to myself is "To Renew or To Not Renew, That is The Question: Whether 'its nobler in the minds to spend my money or to take Or take arms against the arms of the Greedy that care not for other but for themselves." Man, that Bard is relevant as much today as he was way back then. Herman
