  1. Pete, there is a Cummins Service Center at 16525 E. Skeiiy Dr, Tulsa, OK. 918-234-3240. There is also one in Wichita KS. Herman
  2. I always wondered why when they show case one of those units and the MSRP is $658,000.00 and the tested unit was $673,500.00. Now I know why. That reminds me of a Chevrolet Tahoe they had on display at the Louisiana State Fair. MSPR $ 75,000.00+ but when you looked at the addo on sticker $93,000.00 +. Talk about sticker shock. Herman
  3. Carl, you can alway make me slobber all over myself with commits like "Linda will make her Pecan, rum bread pudding, with praline, rum sauce! " Happy hunting see your Tuesday. Herman
  4. If you want you could install a "Freeze Guard" like the do for Swimming pools. It will power up the pool motor when the temperature drop below 36 degrees F. It can be plugged into any 110 Volt outlet in the coach or shore power. I had one on our pool when we lived in the city. Herman
  5. Does anyone want to have a get together in Perry like we did in Gillette? In Perry we had several folks come by my coach and had some nice exchange of thoughts. I once again found out that "The First Liar Doesn't Stand A Chance" I will set up something if you would like. Herman
  6. Carl, on your coach with two 2k inverters can you determine which one controls which circuits? Herman
  7. Harry, the op said that it is a 2017 coach with factory original tires (19 inch G670s with 7,000 miles). It is possible the factory put one wrong size tire on but very unlikely. I go with the thought of a belt separation and that he should go very slowly to the nearest tire dealer and have all of his rear tires inspected. Herman
  8. Roger, Several questions. Is he concerned about when dry camping, on shore power in a campground or both? Does he have a Converter or an Inverter/charger? Does he have Deep cell Golf Cart batteries or Cranking Batteries? Herman
  9. Jim, I am sure you know this but when I change any filter, fuel or oil, I will put a bit of grease on the gasket. This just helps it slide smoothly when tightening. Two items comes to mind, first maybe the filter wasn't seated properly and caused a leak down and second as we go into winter and with the fluctuations in temperatures there can be a lot of condensation, more with a tank with less then a 1/4 tank of fuel. I always try to top off my tank just before I get home so I have less chance of condensation. Just a couple of thoughts from me. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. Herman
  10. dianahc, I have issues from time to time with hard water but it will be where bothe the hot and cold water will slow down. Each time it will be caused by calcium build up. I go through all my faucet and showerhead and clean them and will be back in business. Glad you have full pressure on all your Hot water faucets now. You will be getting your neighbors from the North soon if not some already. Herman
  11. Can you determine the manufacturer? Hope it is a common one and one can be found at Lowe's, Home Depot or even Ferguson's. One thing, maybe when it is disassembled it turns out to be just debris and all it requires is cleaning and putting it back together. Herman
  12. I can't remember, but don't you have a single lever faucet in the shower? Like Kay said it may be as simple as something in the hot water side. Do you have any water when you turn the handle all the water to hot only or do you get full pressure cold? If you get full pressure cold there may be an issue with the valve itself. Herman
  13. mwking, What type of sewer hose do you use? I use the RhinoFLEX Hose. it will compress from 15 feet into a length of 3 feet and stay compressed. This will help with space if you are using the blue hose. Herman
  14. I would like to hear the sales pitch the salesman used. I bet he could do it with a straight face to. Herman
  15. In Texas we can give you any kind of weather you want. Hot, warm, freezing, cool, humid and dry. Sometimes all in the same place. I quote Indiana Jones The Last Crusade, "Choose Wisely My Son". Herman
  16. valvis, Welcome to the Forum. If I got 11 years from a set of batteries I would go with the same brand again. Sounds like they are a good make. As the ole saying goes, "Dance with the one that brought you". In this case US Battery. Herman
  17. Looked at the website. Reviews bad for the company and not on the product. The one problem that the welding industry had was with the "Low Pressure". That is where the issues were for the auto switch over. Herman
  18. How about the dealer that sold it to you before. I am sure they would like to sell it to again. Herman
  19. Auto change over regulators on fuel gases have always been a issue due to low pressures. The welding industry has been trying for years to produce one but haven't been successful. At least it was still an issue when I retired 6 years ago. Many welders tried the units used for fuel tanks on RV's without success. Herman
  20. Thanks for letting us know the results of your problem. Good Luck Herman
  21. West Texas although it is fairly dry it can get very hot during the summer. The hill country is not as bad as West Texas but still can get quite hot. There are a lot of folks that live in Texas go to New Mexico or Colorado during the hot summer's. We live in North Central Texas and are going to go to the mountains for the summer this next year. But we welcome all from the North Herman
  22. I just renewed our membership for the additional 6 month. I have made back my cost many times over. Most of the time it is just for a quick over noght. Yes they have some restrictions but the saving, to me, makes up for the restrictions. Herman
  23. jawopw, My best guess would be to check for a loose connection. A loose ground would be my first place to check. Herman
