  1. It's a diabolical plan aimed at you Carl by all of the states Highway Department. They know your travel plans and your routes so they know exactly where to start the roadwork. ☺😅☺ Herman
  2. Brett is right. Atwood heater go with Atwood plug. Herman
  3. Al, there is the cover but if I am not mistaken the Ice Maker in a Norcold set side ways and must be removed to remove the cover. It's a very close fit. Herman
  4. Also check and see if you have an Inland Truck Parts near you. They got a Drag Link for my coach Roadmaster chassis. Herman
  5. Here is my Velvac Mirror. You can see the 4 mounting screws and the cap that cover them. Herman
  6. Richard, Around Mitchell SD is the Corn Palace, Wall Drug in Wall, SD, Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Monument at Rapid City, Sturgis and Devils Tower just a bit North Pine Haven. You could make Devils Tower on a day trip from Gillette. Hope to see you on Thursday the 19th. Herman
  7. Pun intended ??😊 Herman
  8. "G" take your bar to a NAPA or similar parts house. They can match the Tie Rod Ends. One is right hand and the other is left hand threads. You only need the ends. Then be sure and have the coach aligned after replacing them Herman
  9. Warranty, take it to factory service center and have the coach sit there for a month or 6 weeks or longer for a loose screw. Sad but true. 🤐 I'm sorry for the sour grapes. 🙁 Herman
  10. Brown, open the outside access panel for the refrigerator. That is where you will find the ice maker valve. Make sure it is plugged in. Put in the new unit, you may have unplugged it. Herman
  11. "G" you might look at a automotive parts house or truck parts to see if they have replacement any bushings that my work. Herman
  12. Nice explanation Kay, thanks. Herman
  13. My coach had had small inserts that when popped out revealed the screws. A picture of your mirrors would help. Herman
  14. Mine have a hunk of wood glassed in behind where it attaches to the coach with large screws. If the the screws are just loose just tighten them up. If striped them you may consider drilling through and attach with a Stainless Steel bolt with a fender washer and nylon insert lock nut. Herman
  15. Went that way last Year and the road wasn't too bad. Seen better but have seen a lot worse. Hwy 69 through Oklahoma or I-20 through Louisiana come to mind. Herman
  16. Thank you so much for your most gracious generosity in the past. Your suggestions are very good. I don't know if Byron is in a hurry or not that is why I use that big word "IF". 😎 Herman
  17. Carl, Nice suggestion, however if Byron is in a hurry to sell it will take about 3 months to see his ad in the magazine. It will take that long to get published. Some folks have gone to their local RV dealer and posted a photo on their Bulletin Board. Igot a good Tow bar from from a bulletin board. Herman
  18. Understand, thats why some of us carry an spare one in our tool box. Herman
  19. Bill, Even in Fort Worth it is SURE not Shure. Even my spell check know that. Got to love him. Herman
  20. Thanks Jim, it appears I had the tape measure backwards. Message learned. I hated to lose it The last I saw there were 526 postings and most were very good, informative and socially funny. However it was probably time to start fresh, nobody would go back 26 pages and read 526 post. Now Remember if you are in Gillette don't forget Thursday the 19th. Come by my coach and meet some characters. I will post my Location on Thursday the 12th. Come meet the man that deletes his own Topic.
  21. gpippin, If it were me i would first see if I have power to the small post on the solenoid. If there is power to the terminal with the key on I would then check to see if I have power on both sides of the solenoid. What you are describing sound just like a bad solenoid. If it is be sure to get a 12 volt continuous solenoid. If I remember correctly it is #55 solenoid. Herman
  22. Let's get together in Gillette. We can meet at my coach for a Small Social. Be sure to bring your chair and whatever you would like to drink. Let's meet on Thursday the 19th around 5:00 pm at my coach I will post my location here on the 12th. This doesn't interfere with the Governing Board that meets on Wednesday the 18th. Herman
  23. Made a mistake and the old Topic got deleted. Sorry. So lets start a new one. Herman
  24. Wrangler is the only Jeep that hasn't had had the wobble. Hope it doesn't start. Kay nice looking Jeep. Herman
